so i'm turning 13 in just a couple weeks and i need to get the invitations out reeeeeally soon. i wanted to have a big party, but my mom is very protective and she said i could only invite girls (which took out about half the people on the list) so now, it's only going to be 21 girls. i wanted to just turn off the lights and have strobe lights while we like dance, but now it seems pathetic because it's only girls and there are only about 22 of us. and im not really sure if everyone there likes and knows each other. so, what do you think about it? any other ideas on what i should do instead? or should i have the dance part and we could do other things? idkkk help me out pleasee! thanks in advance!:) more

She wants to have a sleep over and go to a nice dinner, which is fine but she isn't sure what to do at the sleep over neither am I. It's going to have boys and girls so nothing to girlie... She is VERY mature for her age so nothing childish. Most people on the internet think she is 18-19 before they see what she looks like. My sons 13th Birthday Party is tomorrow & hes requested a "Boat Cake" not just a cake with a boat on it but an actual boat made of cake (Ace Of Cakes/Cake Boss style ;) Im ready to tackle the project (coffee in hand Im pulling an all nighter) but I need a bit of help... It would prob. be easier if I just exp. my plan of attack thus far... Im thinking Ill use two rounds (stacked) or maybe a loaf & carve the hull of the boat which by the way is to resemble a lobster boat (we're from Maine) not a sailboat or cruise ship... -cover it with fondant & place it on a base of sheetcake (covered in blue piping gel to resemble the ocean) & try to jazz up the "water" so it doesnt look empty with just a wide expanse of water. (Lobster pot buoys made of fondant maybe?) Ok so this year i want to do an camp out in my backyard for my 13th birthday.I really don't have a lot of things planned for us except for building the tent together, making s'mores , makeovers, and pics. I have a really small bedroom. Two of the walls are redwood and two are a green color. I have a bed that I hate. We cut a bunk bed in half and I got the top half. Im thinking of having a limo for my bday with my 3 or 4 other friends.. What i want to know is WHAT can we do with the limo. Ok, I've known this guy for about 3 years now. We are in 8th grade, 13 going on 14, and going on to High School next year. Well, after me and my bf broke up(went out for 11 months), I started like the guy like a month after. He invited me to go to church with him on Wednesdays and my best friend goes to the church too so I decided to go. After church I made the mistake of asking him out. He said he doesn't date because he wants to be a good Christian and I totally get that. All of my friends say that he likes me and that he flirts with me in the hallway and at lunch. We had a school dance after school on Friday last week and there was a karaoke room and he went up there to sing. Before he sang he showed me his paper with his name on it and what he was going to sing. I asked him what he was gonna sing and he just said it's for you so I had no idea what it was. It turned out to be the song 'You're Beautiful' by James Blunt. About an hour before the dance ended he had to leave. I walked up to him and asked him if he was leaving and he said ya and he had to go to a birthday party or something. Then he hugged me and I was just shocked but at the same time I wanted to jump up and scream!! Two days before the dance he won a stuffed lion in one of his classes and it sang the song wild thing. He gave it to me and I was once again shocked. My best friend told me that he asked her when he could give it to me and she said well in the hallway or at lunch. And he told her that he liked me but she wasn't suppose to tell me but she did anyways. And Friday he came up to me and started talking to me. I just really want to know if he likes me back. I really, really, like him back, but I want to know if he is just being friendly and stuff. Another reason he didn't want to go out with me is because he didn't want to ruin our friendship. For my 13th birthday party, I'm having a house/garden party. My house is small but the garden is an okay size. We will make a bit of space in the dining room for food and everything and in the garden we will have dancing, music and limbo e.t.c. I was originally thinking of doing pizza and cinema but that might be a bit boring and it could work our expensive. I don't want to spend loads of money but I was already thinking of party poppers, streamers, balloons, fairy lights, music, dancing limbo, food, chocolate fountain, BBQ (maybe) and nice food.
