Open Question: UK: What do you do when the NHS have no record of your child?
When my son started nursery I spoke to them about on going issues I have had with the NHS and trying to receive proper care for my son. I.e No health visitor after my son got to 6 weeks. how the baby clinic lost my red book and never replaced it, not receiving any letters about jabs, not being able to get my son seen at the baby clinic because of not having a red book. Him not having a single development check since he was 6 weeks because apparently I don't have a health visitor. Never being able to get doctors appointments. Most times I would book the appointment for myself and then have the doctor look at my son or go to a walk in clinic. It's been an on going issue. Well on Friday just gone the key worker at the nursery rang around to find out about whether he was on the speech therapy list to find out that they have no file under my son's name. When she gave them his NHS number the only file they did find had the same birthday, NHS number and beginning name, but the surname and middle name where completely different and he was registered at an address a few streets down from me. My red book was lost 3 years ago when I attended the baby clinic. the receptionist never called my son's name for his jab and when I questioned her she said there was no red book with his name on it. and said a replacement would be given but it never got replaced. Do you think someone has gotten a hold of it and stolen my son's details? I'm just exhausted with the constant battle I'm having with the NHS not giving me answers. All friday afternoon and saturday I was ringing and no one would give me information on how or why this has happened. Any ideas how this has happened? Also Does anyone know what the complaint procedure needed to report this to the NHS? moreOpen Question: hii guys .. need help to write a 18th speech for my sister ...?

The head of the state has unavoidable duties. In fulfilling these duties many times he will need to use his authority to interpret or adapt some of the rules of Shariat in new circumstances. To give you an example from Shia context: The late Imam Khomeini, one of the most influential leaders of the Shia of our time says in one of his speeches that governance is the most important of all divine ordinances and it takes precedence over secondary divine ordinances. Not only does the Islamic state permissibly enforce a large number of laws not mentioned specifically in the sources of the Shari'ah, such as the prohibition of narcotics and the levying of customs dues; it can also suspend the performance of a fundamental religious duty, the hajj, when this is necessitated by the higher interest of the Muslims. (Sahifa-yi Nur, XX, pp. 170-71). In one of his other speeches he says that the Walye Faqih (i.e. religious leader) even has the authority to suspend the primary divine ordinances like obligatory prayers if he finds that this is necessitated by the higher interest of Muslims. (Unfortunately I do not have the exact reference for this part but it is well known by all Iranian Shia brothers who used to follow the developments at the time). Not the same but relevant to the above, are some practices of Shia brothers that are approved by Shia scholars. Adding a statement about Ali in Azan and Iqama, considering mourning and beating oneself as a religious practice, doing the five prayers in three times rather than five separate times, celebrating the birthday of Shia Imams as a religious duty, allowing people to make golden shrines for some of the scholars who pass away and seeking cure and intercession from them are some of the well established practices of Shia brothers that are added to the Shariat. In the more recent times we can see more newly arrived practices like sending greetings to the Prophet three times after hearing the name of Imam Khomeini, organising congregational (Jama'at) Itikaf, reading a certain prayer in groups on Thursday nights, organising and performing political rallies during Hajj and shouting slogans in Friday prayers in support of the political statements of the Friday Imam, etc. Please note that here I do not intend to criticise any of the above or to argue if these practices are allowable in Islam or not. All I am saying is that it is strange to see that a Shia brother, with such background, is criticising one of the great companions of the Prophet for (supposedly) adding a sentence to the Azan or for interpreting a Shariat rule. It is also clear from various reports that any addition that is deemed appropriate with reference to the circumstance can also be made in the words of this call for prayer. Al-Tahzib by Al-Toosi, Vol. 2, No. 14: "Imam Jafar says: ... Al-Taswib (i.e. the statement of 'Al-Salat Khayron Min Al-Nawm') in Iqama is part of the Sunnat. Al-Tahzib by Al-Toosi, Vol. 2, No. 15: "Imam Baqir (RA) says: My father (i.e. Ali Ibn Alhusayn (RA) used to say 'Al-Salat Khayron Min Al-Nawm,' in his Azan at home...' Wasa'el Al-Shia, No. 6998: "Imam Jafar (RA) says: When you are in morning prayer say 'Al-Salat Khayron Min Al-Nawm' after 'Hayye Ala Khayr Al-Amal'[1] in Azan but don't say it in Iqama. According to the Shia scholar, Majlesi in his book Bihar Al-Anwar, Vol. 81 P. 150 certain Shia scholars of old times had allowed saying the sentence in the morning prayers. These are Ibn Al-Junayd and Al-Ju'fi. I do appreciate that the majority of the ahadith in Shia collections and almost all their scholars do not allow this sentence in Azan or Iqama. However I wanted to establish the fact that by the prejudice approach, almost for anything, some evidences can be found. I hope by the above elaboration on brother Hashmi's reply you can now appreciate that firstly it is not easy to conclude with a reasonable degree of confidence that the sentence was added by Umar. Secondly that even if for the sake of discussion we agree that the sentence was added by Umar, there are no rooms for criticising him about it, in particular by our Shia brothers. This is the result of a "research approach" to the issue rather than a "prejudice approach." You asked about the content of Azan in the books of Bukhari and Muslim: In the book of Bukhari (as far as I have seen) there are no mentions of the content of Azan. In the book of Muslim (as far as I have seen) there are only two places where the content of Azan is mentioned: Hadith number 572: The narrator says that the Prophet has taught him how to say Azan. The sentences of Azan are then mentioned and the statement about prayer being better than sleeping is not included. Hadith number 578: Here the narrator asks what should we say after hearing the sentences of Azan and the Prophet explains what is to be said after each sentence. The statement about prayer being better than sleeping is not mentioned. Please no moreVoting Question: romeo and juliet questions- act 1?

I have to write a speech on the person i admire the most. Can you tell me what you think about it? I remember how Jaimie told me, like it was yesterday. Without any emotion she simply said, “My mom died.” That was it, on February 21st, 2007 we lost a beautiful women. Gina was a daughter, a sister, a mother, and the best friend anyone could ask for. The moment she died everything changed. One of my best friends had her mother ripped away from her all because a mystery man could not control his road rage. Gina was 38 years old and believed that she was pregnant with her second child. Since that day there is not one person I admire the most, but two. Gina and Jaimie. Many people say that everyone has their own heaven, and if that is true then I know right where to find Gina‘s heaven. Just look on the shore of the closest beach and I’m sure you will see her towel laid out with a pina colada in the sand. But if you are looking to find Gina herself, I doubt she is on that towel, she is probably to busy fighting with God, telling him she needs to be back here on earth with her daughter. Gina was a young single mom and she never let that hold her back. She always did what was best for her daughter, Jaimie, and even managed to put her through catholic school until the day she died. She stood up for Jaimie when she was right or wrong, and never thought less of her when she made a mistake. Gina strongly believed in her faith. She always thought that things happened for a reason. That is why she never held a grudge. Me and Jaimie have been best friends since kindergarten and we have been fighting with each other for just as long. No matter how many times we got called to the office or made each other cry, Gina always told us that we were friends and although we wouldn’t always agree, we had to respect and forgive each other. As you can tell, she had one of the biggest heart. She cared for everyone she met, and she wanted the best for not only her family but for everyone. Gina was the treasurer for the Coalition of Physically and Mentally Challenged Children. And even after she died, the Make A Wish Foundation worked to fulfill a child’s dream in Gina’s honor. That was all she wanted, for these kids to have a fair shot at life, and she tried her hardest to make that happen while she was here with us. When I think of Gina I remember the birthday parties when we were younger. She always greeted me with a hug and a kiss and rushed me over to the food to make sure that I ate. She had a camera glued to her hand and she was constantly laughing. She would be taking pictures of us all dancing and before you knew it she was on the dance floor dancing with us. On the night of Jaimie’s first birthday without her, we all released a balloon in her honor. All of them disappeared into the night sky except for one that got stuck in the leaves of a tree. I guess that was her way of telling us that she wasn’t going anywhere. Next month will mark three years that we haven’t seen her face or heard her laughter. And out of everyone that has dealt with her loss, Jaimie has been the strongest. She has been the one to console her aunts and cousins, and she has given them hope that Gina is still here. Jaimie once considered her self an orphan but has now excepted the fact that yes, she does not have parents, but she has aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends that all care for and love her. And that is enough. If you did not know her story you would never be able to know everything that she has gone through. She carries herself in such a confident way, and is still so forgiving even after everything that has happened. She wakes up every morning with the intend to make her mother proud. She often says “if you ever needs a guardian angel, ill share mine with you“. Jaimie was 15 years old when Gina was taken away, and after that day she never did act her age again. She looked into things more, and always found a positive reason for everything. And she was right, Gina was a guardian angel. Now looking back on it, I can’t blame God for wanting to take her. Even though we were all so angry when he did, I know that she didn’t belong here, she was better than this place. She couldn’t help everyone she wanted to if she alive and here on earth. When ever I need her I just look at the moon. And I may be crazy but sometimes I can see her face perfectly. She always knew how to comfort someone by doing the littlest things. So if you ever need some cheering up, or just someone to talk to, ask for Gina. moreVoting Question: How does this speech sound?

my mother passed away and her birthday is coming up in a few weeks, so my family is having a dinner and i want to do a speech. and this is it- tell me what you think! Goood evening everyone. I hope everyones having a good time, and I really hope this speech doesnt ruin the fun because we all know mom would never want that to happen. :) Although it might seem like a lifetime It has only been 3 months since shes left us, and we have to move on and keep her memories alive and live the rests of our lives without her. I think we can all agree that my mother was an amazing women, she was everything. She was a caring, compassionate and all around beatiful person. And we all miss seeing her pretty face telling us "It's the Mignolli's curse" My mom seemed to blame the family curse on everything that went wrong. We all believed in this, but never so much when we got the call on October 13th that my mom and brother got to a car crash and by the time we got ot the hospital they were gone. Taken by god because they were both too amazing to be on earth. My mom was my everything, And when she left this world, I felt that I did lose everything. But I carried on and prepared myself to go on without her. And relized that i really shouldn't be sad that shes gone, but happy that such a great person touched my life. She really was an angel sent from above and now she is back to her home where she belongs watching out for all of us. Mom i just wanna let you know that ill never forget you. No one will ever replace you. I miss you so much, I miss your smile and your hugs when I was down. I also wanna let you know that you were amazing at what you did. And I want to carry on your talent within me, and keep your spirit alive. I'll always be your baby girl, no matter what. hi, I'm organising a 21st birthday for my partner in feb. Just need some idea's for his speech. I've got a few ideas but not really sure how to put it all together...I was thinking of starting off by thanking everyone for coming and helping him celebrate his special milestone. Thank everyone who helped with thing(his parents gave me baby pics 4 a collage) plus there are a few others 2 thank. I have a few funny things to say also as well as one big secret(i actually made the move on him) everyone assumes he is the result of us becoming a couple so i'm sure there will be a few mouth drops here. What else could i say? I'll tel u a bit more about us and maybe this might help. We have been together 5 yrs. We have a little girl together. He is funny and charming and loves to be the clown of the show. He loves a drink, Footy (NRL) he follows the eels. Any help will be great Thanks moreResolved Question: MLK, Jr.'s Dream: Have we reached it? Is it even attainable?
As I've watched yet another Martin Luther King, Jr., Birthday Observance pass...I've had to ask myself if he'd be happy about the current state of our nation. Oh, I'm sure he'd be proud of us (finally) having a president of different race, but it seems as if that's the only thing that we could say is different. What I mean is that the more things change, the more they stay the same. Our country still has major race relations problems; there are still areas of the country that practice segregation--just more covertly than in times past; there are still people that are judged by the color of their skin & not the content of their character when it comes to jobs, education, housing, and the law; there are still millions of poor people living like citizens of 3rd World countries; our educational systems is still inadequate. Maybe King's dream was really just idealistic. Maybe we'll never live out the true meaning of America's creed: All men are created equal. Last year when I watched Obama's acceptance speech in Grant Park, I really though that our country might be heading for change. I'm not JUST talking about economical change either. I was hoping that there might be some kind of brotherhood forming in our communities that would somehow overcome our divisions and bring us closer together. Maybe Atty General Eric Holder is right...maybe we are "cowards" when it comes to U.S. race relations. Sure we have little flare-ups like with Trent Lott, Don Imus, Harry Reid, to name a few, but there needs to be a REAL conversation to come out of those situations. Not just the airing of someone's dirty laundry. Granted, I'm not expecting everyone to drop what they're doing to hold hands and sing together, but would it hurt for us to really consider "loving our neighbors"? What do y'all think?**Obama's 2008 acceptance speech.** moreResolved Question: How should a four year olds speech be? Anyone who has experience in raising little children please read.?
My daughter just turned four this month. She has always been very intelligent for her age not just saying that because I'm her mom. She started putting words together around one and was talking fluently by a few months after her second birthday. I'm just not sure other people can understand her that well. I mean its not really bad they can understand her just not every word. She says crazy things for her age like do you pay the electric bill? Just things an average 4 year old wouldn't really comprehend she does. But, she has troubles saying things like spider or juice comes out sounding like shoes. Her dr. told me that her vocabulary is so far advanced he wouldn't worry about her speech just yet because her birthday is late and she won't start kindergarden for another year and a half. He also told me he could understand her just fine. She is tall for her age so I don't know if people thinks shes older than she is but other people have said things to me about the way she talks not a lot of people a few people and neither of them have children of their own. So, I don't know if my child has a speech problem if this is normal for her age or if I'm just so used to her I don't notice it? Plus, she doesnt do this all the time its like when she trys talking fast. There is a few words she does always have trouble with though and its mainly S's and J's. Does anyone know if this is normal? Will she grow out of it or is it a minor speech problem? moreVoting Question: Almost 4 year old with hearing/speech difficulty. Opinions welcome!?
My son is almost 4 (birthday in March) and has been seeing a speech pathologist for about a year and a half which has greatly improved his speech and vocab. When first beginning speech he had a hearing test (at about 25 months old) and did fine. I have recently asked to have him retested because of problems we have noticed at home. He seems to have difficulty hearing what we say or will miss what we are talking about completely. He will repeat something that sounds or rhymes with what we said but again, misses what was actually said. He also speaks very loudly when we are in public places such as a restaurant or store. I am not sure if some of this is selective hearing or if he is really having difficulty. His hearing was retested last week and I was told that my sons eardrums were not responding to sound as they should and that he probably had fluid behind the eardrums. And although he can hear mid to high pitched tones, he was missing low tones regularly. After checking his ear, the person administering the test told me he had an ear infection and that he needs tubes. I took him to his Dr. the next day and was told there is no fluid or infection. He does typically have 6 or so infections a year. His Dr. is suggesting it be an auditory perception disorder and he is scheduled for a fallow up hearing test in two weeks. Any suggestions on what it could be? I am getting two completely different answers to this problem and would love any theories! His Dr. does have to refer him to a specialist (our insurance doesn't pay unless there is a referal from the PCM) however he does not want to do this until after the second test. The first test that was done, they placed ear buds in his ears and measured the outcome on a screen and then told me that his eardrums are not responding in a way they like to see and that there was probably fluid behind the eardrums. His Dr. said specifically "there is no fluid in either ear". Could there be scar tissue from previous infections? moreResolved Question: Why are we celebrating Martin Luther King jr. day on this day in particular?
First off happy Martin Luther King jr. day everybody! There's something I wonder though, why are we celebrating him on this day January 18th on particular? I know why we celebrate him, but why on this day exactly? I looked up information on Dr. King and didn't find anything significant on this day for his life. He was born on January 15th of 1929. Not the 18th, the 15th! And was assinated (sadly) on the 4th of April in 1968. And he gave his famous "I have a dream speech" on August 28th 1963. None of those days are January 18th, so why are celebrating him on this day? If we were celebrating his birthday then we should have been celebrating 3 days ago! Is there something I missed? moreResolved Question: Is martin luther king jr. day martin luther king's birthday or the day he made his speech?

two of my best friends have been pushing their views of my child raising and discipline and what they think about my son on me..more so since i have lived there recently while waiting to purchase my home and since i have moved out. in the beginning i welcomed their ideas since i was having no luck and no idea what to do about my son. and i trusted their advice having three very smart children who for the most part seemed very good kids. my son is hyper, always bouncing off the walls and impulsive too. he is a lovey kid who likes everyone but when he gets excited he Bing's off the walls and pushes or hits but not in a mad mean way but in a hey i was playing with that, or just plain spontaneous i'm geeking out and tearing thought the play area and your in my way..and so yadda..sometimes out of anger..and all you button pushing disobedient attitude/actions etc..you get the idea. he is 4 on the 20th by the way. i tried all their disciplinary tactics and some worked..for a little while. we thought outside the box a lot when i lived there and things were strained because they couldn't deal with him in their ways( and their kids started acting up)..some progress but then they were getting way too rigid for a 4 yr old. i went to 2 doctors, 1counselor , two head start workers, and both his daycare providers. they all said the same exact things get him doing things he can burn off the energy with and he is yes he needs a bit more attention than most because he is so "busy" but other than that he is perfectly normal for his age..and seriously not bragging because this is not the issue or the place but they all said he is ahead in manners and Speech and thought process..and normal in things like numbers letters etc. when i tell my friends this they say he is not normal, he is mean and disrespectful to others (adults)and has absolutely no respect for me at all, and that all the issues he has (bouncing off the walls hitting, disobedience, lying and getting into things he knows he isn't supposed to, all of which "he is doing on purpose and understands what he is doing" ) are pointing to some really bad psych issues they have researched in trying to find out how to help with him. I defend my son and they cut me down and recently friday in fact i brought it up again because there were digs about my son (he has a 1/2 bath in his room..it was an office...they said "i would just tear that out and open up the room, besides that is just a disaster waiting to happen" i asked what they meant and they said because he is going to have the sink overflowing and things stuffed in the toilet etc. i was really upset at this but just defended lightly and let it go) i asked them not to talk about him like this and that they were wrong and why would he all of a sudden do something as over board as all that since he doesn't now and he has free reign of potty use..and yadda and to please back off..they went into their whole diatribe of what was wrong with him and i hung up..just flat out had it...i don't agree with the way they do some things and i already see some bad issues rising up in one of the kids because of the strict fear based way they do things but i do not tell them what they are doing is wrong because it works for them and it is not my place i mention ideas here and there but that is about it and i never pull out their kids ever flaw and turn it into some twisted evil scenario..i am so upset..i want to know if i was right to ask them not to come to his birthday party and simply that i would like them to go away and leave us to ourselves..i love them both they are good people..but now after all this little digs for so long turning into this horrible View of my child and shitty attitude towards my less fear based discipline..that is "not working" even though i think we have made progress. i just can't deal with or feel comfortable around them anymore and i don't think my son or i need that kind of negativity towards us in our lives....even if "it is because we care so much" (they say) am i wrong for ending the friendship? Keep in mind this is only the really bad stuff there is good stuff to but this i feel trumps everything and cancels out a lot of it. All apologies for writing this way i know it is all over the place and off on side tangents...just kind of hard to focus...i have chronic daily migraines...today was a terribly bad day. moreVoting Question: My Mother is having her 60th birthday meal. Before answering please recognize that I am asking this as an American. I am one of the more intelligent people at my University and notice many of these odd characteristics that I myself do not replicate. Please, no American bashing or ridiculing. I am opening this question for clear and constructive discussion. Please no yelling at me for saying these things. If you wish to attack the statement do so intelligently. In other words, no stating "your wrong" or "Americans are not stupid" or "your stupid" or other things of that Nature. I have noticed many people at my University to be quite dim witted. I attend a fairly prestigious University that is very well respected in numerous realms and have noticed the majority of American students seems to have the attention span of a piece of toast and the intellectual curiosity of butter. In short, they are not very interested in learning much of anything and care more about getting the degree with the minimum work necessary. When it comes to projects most of my partners are very lazy and wait until 2 weeks before the deadline to start the project and frequently end up using questionable scholarly sources that they obtained from beyond questionable sources. Not stolen or plagiarized but obtained from wikipedia or similar sources without doing much of any actual reading. I picked up an actual text book and was laughed at by my peers. This is ridiculous. Another thing I notice is that many seem to use the word "like" alot, in both casual and professional speech, and appear to require the use of a horrendous amount of fillers in speech that lessens their credibility on every occasion and makes it hard to take them seriously. What is the reason this has happened? Most of my friends do not speak in this manner and typically use synonyms or more professional terms to express their thoughts, in both casual and professional speech. Most of my friends are typically the minority population but have accomplished much with regard to their intended careers and are always open to doing interesting or new things. Do the majority of people today not recognize the difference? My final observation is regarding facebook. Over the past year or two I have noticed a tremendous increase in the amount of time people spend on this "website". While I would understand if people were to use this website for keeping in contact with friends it seems as though most of them do little of that. Their appears to have been a depersonalization of social relationships, which is very sad to say the least. I have not fallen prey to this and only use Facebook for its intended purpose of keeping a list of peoples birthdays and sending around messages of interesting things i encounter. In other words, real human communication with people I know in real life. Too many people I know use this website for the APP's such as Farmville, Fishville, Mafia Wars, and other Zynga games which are nothing more than time wasters. While i could understand if people played these occasionally most do not and instead devote an ungodly amount of time to them thus minimizing real human communication and leading to them becoming confined, reclusive, and borderline retarded in the literal definition of stunting their being. Rather than doing something useful or truly fun they spend their time on minimalist time wasters. How does this make sense? Who, given the choice, would honestly prefer to do such menial and useless tasks over and over again. Nothing positive is accomplished and time is wasted. How is this healthy? Why are such websites not subject to the same scrutiny as drugs and alcohol or Gambling. It is clear from my observations that they only lead to stupidity and a lack of awareness. Am I wrong? If you have any comments please do post them as I would love to read what other have to say. If you prefer to not post them here and would rather send them to me directly please send them to moviefan135@gmail.com If this is reported by anyone I feel sorry your simple being could not handle some constructive criticism. This is not a violation of anything and I hope all who read this recognize that. I look forward to your responses on the topic. Some idiot reported this as a Rant the last time i posted it. For Shame. If you report this you are a fool. This is not a rant but an open question. If you do not recognize the difference you are foolish. moreVoting Question: Could my 16 month old have autism spectrum disorder?
My son at 10 months was diagnosed with paroxysmal tonic upgaze (ptu), and has started showing signs of autism. He never said a word or babbled until he was 1 year old, just after his first birthday he said "mama" then a few weeks later he said "dada." We was very excited that he had finally started talking. Then at 14months he started saying "ye" and "eya" but since using these words, "mama" and "dada" have gone? Ive really try to encourage him to say them, but his reply to everything is "ye". When excited, he points to the ceiling, never pointed at anything else, just points up when excited. He also flaps his hands, not alot, but he does do it. One thing that he does alot is put his hands over his ears, and pats his head. Only does it at certain times, everytime he crys he does, and when certain songs and themes comes on the tele. He seems to ignore me alot, if he is busy with a toy or watching tv, i could shout his name at the top of my voice 30 times and he would not acknowlege me, and sometimes will look the 1st time. The ptu does sometimes cause speech delays. He has 2 cousins with severe autism. He does make eye contact, loves cuddles, and blows kisses when he hears love you, as we do this when we say love you. He doesnt line things up, he does stack things, but not for really long periods of time. Should i be concerned? Please, anybody with any info would be greatly appreciated. moreResolved Question: Interesting, funny and /or quirky facts from the year - 1980?
can you think of anything interesting/funny or quirky that happened in this year thought it would be interesting to include this in a birthday speech - it is my friends year of birth thanks in advance!!! moreVoting Question: Worried that I might have Schizophrenia? (at least tell me what's normal?)?
It sounds stupid, I know I hate it when people list the worst possible desease with only a few similarites. Which is sort of what I'm about to do... But I've honestly worried about it for a long while now, so I'll risk sounding stupid to be proven wrong. Also, some of the "symtoms" I feel can be related to something else. 1. My emotions. It seems I just don't feel bad or sad when I should. For example... When my aunt went to prison. I love her and have been with her for quite some time. But I didn't feel bad, or sad. Just indifferent. Or when I lose a friend. I just don't give a crap--sometimes I'm even a little releaved to see them go. However, I DO feel sad, such as when I moved away form my family last year. I cried a lot. But then, it could only be the beginning of schiz... 2. Weird muscle twitches, small but everywhere. I think that might happen to everyone thought? 3. "Appearing desireless". Yes and no. Sometimes I WANT and have a strong need to be thought of as a "genius" or really smart. But I never have the motivation. I don't aim high. I know exactly what I want. A small apartment, one kiving room, one kitched, one room. White walls, black bed. A stainless steel countertop, a black leather couch. 3 dogs, all rottie's, for my protection and just to love. 4. I have a lot of anxiety a lot of the time. Are people looking at me? They just laughed, are they laughing at me? I won't get up in front of a room, because I'm afraid everyone is looking at me. I often wish I were invisable. Maybe this is just major shyness caused by a dramatic past, but it causes a lot of anxiety. 5. I have "conversations" in my head? But it's not like an actual voice. It's my voice, usually negative. Like someone can say something, and the "voice" will say "that was stupid to say", and then "my" voice will tell that voice to "shut up", like a scold the voice in my head for being mean. Dunno if that's normal. Or if coersation is normal. like, "Should I go?" The voice, "no, it's dark. stay here." Me: "okay." This is only sometimes. 6. I've had the thought/fear that people can read my mind. I'm sort of starting to think that as teenagers become adults, they can read minds. Sometimes I'll think, "Dad, look at me if you can read my mind". Or sometimes I'll have a random thought that comes into my head after I think something like that, and think it's an answer, and then reply to the random things that come into my head. I KNOW these things are not logical and are stupid. What I don't know is if it's normal. 7. I'm starting to be more paranoid. I LOVE to be alone, because I just don't often enjoy people's company. I like doing my own thing. But I'm also recently becoming afraid that someones going to come in, that they'll break in and try to kill me. I plan my escapes when I'm alone. 8. "Neglect in selfcare". When I was 13, I constantly wore makeup and tried to look pretty. Now, I wear none, and don't care what I wear. I'll still straighten my hair, but I'm starting not to care about that anymore either. I just don't care anymore, I don't feel like doing it and I don't care. 9. Bad sleep habits? I'm not sure about this one. I think this one is all on me, honestly. I stay up til 2 in the morning, go to bed. Fall asleep at 5 in the after noon. The cycle repeats. I think that might be noraml for a teen. However, I AM afraid of 3am. I don't look at the clock then, because I consider it a time when the paranormal can attack me. But I feel safe again at 3:01am. Also, I'm starting to think that I have signs of the antichrist, or at least something supernatural. Like, my favorite number is 6. And my birthday is september 11th. And I'm a virgo, like the "virgin mary". And my eyes are dark brown. I'm afraid to look into mirrors because I might see something. This could all be from too many horror movies... but that's another thing. I used to be terrified of them. But I laugh as I watch them. Only later do I remember them and am afraid... 10. I reply conversations I just had outloud, wondering and trying to hear if what I said was stupid or okay. Only when I'm scared to I talk outloud, to distract myself, but I think that's normal. Like if I feel very anxious like I'm about to be attacked by a ghost, I'll go, "I think I'm going down stairs. It's freakin cold up here, someone screwed with the thermostate again." I feel like I'm also distracting the Ghost, so it doesn't think I'm afraid of it. I think if I'm afraid of it, it will honestly try and get me. That's hard to say on here, cuz I feel it might be reading. But I KNOW it's not logical, I'm trying to know... 11. "Suddenly halting speech in the middle of of a sentence". This has happened 4, 5 times in the last year. I only started noticing it this yearish. I'll be talking, and then suddenly forget what I was saying. And then if I try to remember, it comes back a few seconds later. I think this might be normal? 12. A have terrible short term memoryA have terrible short term memory, though I don't hink my long term memory is that bad. Ask me what I did yesterday, and it'll take me minutes to figure it out. (although I do the same basic stuff everyday, so I'll probably just say that. "played computer", etc). Or what I had for lunch that day. Takes me about 45 seconds to figure it all out, if it wasn't something in my norm, which is usually mcdonalds. Then, it only takes 5 seconds. Is this normal? 13." Obsessive compulsive tendencies- with thoughts or actions". Both me and my sister have this. She can't stand odd numbers, like on the tv station. Has to be even... though with her, I'm suspicious that she does it for attention. I don't really care about the numbers. I can't stand napkins being rubbed on anything soft. I can't stand velvet. I HATE CHALK. I have to lick my fingers just think about it. I hate it, napkins CAN'T be on the seat, ESPECIALLY not rubbed. I get shivers, my teeth start to ache, I can't stand it.14. "Frequent loose association of thoughts or speech" I'm not sure if I have that. I don't notice. But I often wonder how I got to a thought. Is that normal? I think it is. 15. Very difficult to deal with things I consider stressful. Like school. That might be normal for most teens though. 16. "Rapidly changing mood" It flucuates, but not exactly to extremes, like bipolar. More like, one minute I feel "prettu damn good." The next, I feel like crap, just in general. 17. Sounds that are not there? Like a buzzing in my ear. This doesn't happen all that often, but again, its only recently started happening. 18. Somtimes, I just suddenly "zone in", without realizing that I ever zoned out. There are no thoughts in between. Maybe that's normal. I don't know. That's about it. I doubt anyone read all that, but thank you so much to those who did. I'll answer any question that helps. Could be early signs? Or maybe something else... Maybe nothing? Maybe I'm too paranoid. GOD THIS IS LONG. Sorry O,oMaybe I should make this shorter... who's gonna read all this?Oh. I'm a 16 year old female.Sorry about all the misspellings and such. I made them, they just didn't work... It's "known" in my family. My father's brother had it, though he never seemed different when I met him.Yeah, i thought so too! xD I thought, If I think I have Schizophrenia, then I probably don't. But then, some people do notice the early signs. Weed is gross. I'll never smoke it. moreVoting Question: people with the Sony Ericsson W995 !?

Sorry this is so long, but I really need some help... First off, I'm a Sophomore and the guy I like is a Sophomore. Just thought I'd throw that out there, Now, it's difficult for me to understand guys because I am a girl. I get it. But trying to understand THIS guy is like... I don't even know! Like trying to WALK ON WATER or something! August 2009 I fell for this guy who was close friends with my Ex at band camp, and I asked him out. He and I are best friends, too. So, I don't know if it was a mistake or not to ask him out, but I don't care. He beat around the bush a little bit, the whole "You're a great person, and any guy would be lucky to have you" speech, but ultimately said no due to a poor relationship he had with a girl that had been one of his friends Ex's. He said he now has a "no dating friends Ex's rule" because his friend hates him now and he won't date me because he's a "coward and afraid of loss". Totally understandable and respectable, but it makes me like him even more, lol. Okay. Between that time and Homecoming on October 3rd he avoided me, and I learned through the grape-vine that he was taking some Freshman chick to the dance. Okay, cool whatever. Then at Homecoming, in front of me, asks her to be his gf. Smooth move, jerk. But WHILE he's dating her, after I had a conversation with him online, he finds me the next day, unexpectedly hugs me... hm... probably for about 30 seconds, maybe and whispers in my ear "See, I'm not mad at you." then hurries away. Then there have been times where I've caught him staring at me from afar, and when I do, he quickly turns away. There was also a time where one of my guy friends had his arm around me and we were laughing coming down the hallway where the guy I like usually waits for his gf and as soon as he sees me he turns to his best friend and says "Let's go." and they start walking down the hallway and then his gf's all like "Hey! Wait for me!" running to catch up with him (that was funny) then all the way down the staircase he's doing like... quadruple-takes over his shoulder looking at me. Annoying. Then, He broke up with his Freshman gf (YaY! lol) at the end of October or early November (can't remember) and mid-November at our School's State Finals for football band gets a break during 3rd quarter and her found me amongst our 172 band members just to say he liked drinking hot chocolate and that he was going to go get some more. I had ran out, so I asked him to get me some while he was over there and he said "No.... if you want some you'll have to get it WITH me." I was in an utter state of shock and just said "okay" and totally ditched my friend to go get hot chocoate (she forgave me later after I told her what happened, lol) then he takes me into a circle of his friends (his ex amongst them) and I just stand there quietly with a smile because its cold and I have hot chocolate because he got it for me. while he's cracking jokes and stuff he keeps giving me this weird look... like a questioning look I guess... like a "Is this okay" or a "Do you approve" kind of look. Why couldn't he have just been normal and told me to go and get my own hot chocolate if I wanted it so bad? *sigh* I invited him to my birthday in December. I didn't expect him to show up, but he did. My family said he wouldn't take his eyes off of me the entire night and that he seemed to be staying exceptionally close to me. I had about 40 people there and I WAS the birthday girl, so I don't count any of that stuff against him. The one thing I found somewhat strange though was his response to a joke I made about him. See, as he was leaving I told him I was glad he came to my party even if he did only come for the cake. (and I didn't see this, but multiple people have told me this happened) He had walked out the door, turned around, come back in, and said... in what was described as coy and suggestive, "Maybe." then he turned around and left again. What am I supposed to make of this guy? I have countless other things to add to this strange list, but I'm trying to give y'all information in a nutshell. TRY is the keyword there, lol. Anyway, some help here would be appreciated. I need some insight. I REALLY like him... so much that I'm losing sleep over him and I cry over him every night. This is from a poetry website (about the love of a father for a son). Really sad =( You were so beautiful, With your boyish good look charms, And I couldn't believe you were dying, As I cradled you in my arms. You see, you were ya Dad's Lad, And could never have been denied, And we were going to ride into my sunset, Lifelong partners, side by side. But things in life don't, Always work out quite to plan, And some cancers won't be beat, even with the medicine man. There can't be a love that is stronger, Than the one I feel for you, And I would have done just anything, To stop the pain that you were going through. And as it got near the end, Your fight started to wane, And you sweated profusely, I guess I thought it was the pain. But the nurse put her arm around me, And said with her heart open wide, "He wants you to let him know, It's Okay to go for the ride". Now that was the hardest speech, And the words got stuck in my head, But they slowly and painfully came out, As quietly I said; "You've made me so happy, And it's felt good to be alive, But it's time for you to leave this earth, Just let me know when you arrive". Now today is your birthday, It's three long years since you've gone, And how come the pain of missing you, Is alive and still going strong ? I've never felt so alone, Now I've lost you and the wife, I considered not going on, I considered taking my life. But as I stared at your photo, It fell straight to the ground, And then I knew you'd never left, you were still hanging around. You see, you were ya Dad's Lad, And could never have been denied, And we are going to ride into my sunset, Lifelong partners, side by side. moreResolved Question: My mother- in-law is such a pain .How do i get rid of her?

This is an everyday happening.Besides this she doesnt wish any of us ,be it our birthdays, new year etc etc,not even the children. She hates me but why cant she like the children? And if its her daughters family she starts wishing maybe months earlier(her daughter hasnt done anything for her). Also my youngest son doesnt speak much(hes only 3,can tell the spellings of some 100 words byheart. He can also sing any song he hears immediately)She goes around making it look like hes dumb or has some speech disorder or something like that. When her daughter calls their favortite topic is my son." Hmm someday maybe he ll talk ,lets us hope"this is wat she tells everytime. No mention of his talents! It drives me crazy. These just a few of her wicked and absolutely evil doings.I could go on but no point just talking abt it. Please tell me what to do with this person. When i tell her anything she just starts wailing and hitting her forehead and creating a big scene.Sometimes i even get a doubt whether she is human or the devil himself! She tells my husband i just want to fight with her and my husband just beleives her and starts fighting with me.Pls Pls Pls help me and tell me aa way to get rid of her.Very soon i m going to if i dont get rid of her. Please dont tell me "be kind she ll change " and "only love can win hate "and stuff like that!I ve tried that love for 20 years. Now i want to live MY LIFE.Give me some good solutions. Thanks in advance. moreResolved Question: Why do you love your dad?
Hello, Im doing a speech on my dad's birthday about why I love him. and I got stuck. He is turning 50 and im planning to say this speech on his birthday. Anyone have any ideas on what I could write in this speech ? moreVoting Question: My fiance doesn't do anything special for me on SPECIAL occasions. ex. birthdays?
Points of interest: My fiancé and I are getting married the 19th of this month. He didn't do anything special for my birthday. He had my parents give me a hundred dollars that he would pay back. Oh… and a phone call. What I expect: That the man I love would have made just one day out of the year unforgettable for me. Something small in the mail perhaps? Something with heart! History: Not the first time. His proposal was insignificant without thought, speech, and knee. He’s poor but he bought me a platinum Ben Bridges signature diamond. Kudos. Problem: He never does small little things for me. He never buys me roses. He never does anything that requires thought or effort. He feels a fancy dinner is good. It comes from his wallet not heart. What I have tried: Communication. Yelling. Crying. Doing nice things for him. Ultimatums that I can’t go through with because I love him. He fell asleep when I brought it up last night. Even though it might be the end of us. He must think I’m bluffing. Conclusion: I plan to not talk to him this week to see what he does. I feel that if I even have to ask this question, to gain some sort of outside perspective that it means I already know the answer and I should leave him. But for the hell of it… and the sanity of my mind that I’m not overbearing… I need your answers.I'm not needy... I just expect the best because I have a good personality and looks to get what I want. I guess I have the princess syndrome because I am an only child. Oh and poor was a bit elaborate... he's a marine. Money is not the issue... if he made me something I would be more happy than if he bought roses... he just would rather buy something instead of use his heart and make something. For the person who thinks I'm needy check out my myspace. I find that offending because I am a strong woman. www.myspace.com/MzZsAsHAvasHTiI did state I do special things for him. I wrote him a saucy sex novel because hes at the base and with boys during the whole week. I have sent him sexy photos. I give him massages everytime I see him. I bake him cookies. I do everything that is sweet and sexual. And your right that I am selfish. I stated that. And it's not a "Sugar Daddy" that I want... money is NOT THE ISSUE. I want someone that takes time to show he cares. I feel I deserve that in a relationship... as does everyone. moreResolved Question: boy problem i need help please?
there is this guy i have had a crush on for 2 yrs. lately things have got better between us atleast there is more talking than just glances. lately he likes to come up and crack jokes infront of my family and he usually gets me off guard. and sometimes i feel like he just gets a reason to come talk to me. he has this girl best friend they are really close which somehow makes me feel uncomfortable because i do not want to interrupt anything that they have. well recently his birthday passed and my birthday is three days after his. well his friend i mentioned above planned a surprise party for him which was kind of wierd for me that she invited me because we do talk but not like that. well i went for his party although it was on the same day as my birthday but since i had done something the previous night before the real day of my birthday, it didnt hurt me going and i mean i like this guy. it was a good party was kind of nerve wrecking cuz i sat next to his mum and older sister but they were good company. we laughed alot! everybody took chances at giving a little speech abput him and his best girl friend mentioned that they became so close more than some people would have wanted them to. during his thank you speech, he actually mentioned to everyone that it was my birthday and he wished me a happy birthday which caught me off guard as i tend to think alot tho what brought me back was hearing my name and the awwwws.... we took pictures and all. works for me. but i have 2 questions; 1. is there a chance that him and his best girl friend have a thing going? cuz i do not want to ruin anything they have if they do. she is like 3 yrs older but age is just a number and she is really nice person. She said mama!!!!!! I guess it's true what they say about girls maturing faster then boys. She's the youngest too... only by a couple minutes... but still. I think my baby boy is a little behind on his speech developement. If he hasn't said his first word by they're first birthday should I take him to a specialist? They just turned 6 monthshaha Melissa... that's not a bad idea considering i'm so young and they're my first. i think it would've been easier if it had been just one baby. not that i'm complaning. I have a double dose of baby happiness... lol moreResolved Question: 21st birthday dilemma! i don't know what to do..?
at first i wasn't even going to have a party, for the following reasons because i was told it would cost too much lol.. so i was just going to go on a road trip with all or any of my friend's that would want to & can come with. but now that's changed, so if i were to have a party, it would have to work with all of the following (which complicates thing hectically): i was thinking of having a kids themed party (see ideas here http://ask.metafilter.com/35194/21st-kids-party-ideas ) half of my friends don't drink and don't party at all, and have a problem with people who do, and being around people who do = major complication because they would all sit in a corner & sulk all night i don't want something with family, because of rawkus behavior from the people that do like to party i don't want anything that could end up having speeches for the type of party that i do want to have, i don't have enough people to make it work, and i don't want to just invite anybody because they're acquaintances i don't want something that's small & intimate because that's what all the other birthdays are for and how all my other parties have been, and it has to be something amazing because i generally throw really awesome parties and there's usually something unique / different about them. so as you can see i have no idea how this could possibly work - any ideas? as for the road-trip - i LOVE the idea of doing that, however, my birthday is right in the middle of June / July holidays, and in the middle of 2010 (i live in South Africa) so any accommodation will probably be fully booked up, and people won't want to come because of the soccer and they might not even be in town because it's holidays. another thing that bugs me, for my 20th this year, soooo many people didn't show up which really sucked (despite me throwing an amazing party), i ended up inviting more & more people so that the party would work - i would NOT want that to happen with my 21st.. i know there's a lot of reasons & things that i do / don't want, but please if you have ANY ideas of how i possibly can make this work - let me know!! thanks so much!i do drink =) thanks for the advice! definitely an idea =P i would still like to have it at home if possible though, cuz i basically do everything for the party myself, from catering to decor, etc. but if all else fails ill remember that. thanks!* moreVoting Question: Was I wrong to buy a PlayStation 3?
All right, so my 21st birthday was coming up and I wanted to buy a PS3. As it has been ever since I started working, I would buy my own gifts because if my Mom were to buy one for me, she would groan and make some grand speech about wasting money, so I end up feeling like I don't deserve anything. So I paid for the PS3 myself and it arrived today. I also payed for 2 games. I also payed for the HDMI cable. Mom comes home and makes a huge fuss about what the **** I just brought and demanded how much I spent, I said $299 (not really, cause of the other stuff) and I told her that in addition to games, you can watch Blu-Ray movies too. She goes why I had to buy this junk, I'm buying you a damn cake and I said about that, I don't think I need a cake, I'm happy with my PS3, which, as I reminder, I paid for, so I'm subtlety telling her she doesn't need to do anything for me. Than she talks behind my back to my grandmother and says, The older this stupid kid, the more stupid **** he buys and now he's going to wake the damn house playing his damn games. What the hell, she has something to say just say it to me! We're both working people, my Mom constantly buys thousand dollar handbags (well, no, her boyfriend does) and to be honest, I rarely spend lavish amounts, except for the occasional PC game. Is she going to keep criticizing my purchases when I move out/get married? Is she telling me to pinch pennies? Now I feel like I should return the damn thing because I feel guilty of buying it. moreResolved Question: 21st Birthday speech.?

This is my book report how is it, any suggestions??? Schindler’s list is a true story about Oskar Schindler, a German man who saw the horrors of the concentration camps and the German government and set out to stop it. The book contains some of the extraordinary stories of the Schindler Survivors along with the main story of Oskar himself. Oskar Schindler was an amazing man who was not your average hero. He was a drinker, a chain smoker, and a womanizer. He manipulated and bribed people, and cheated on his wife Emilie many times. While doing all these terrible things he saved over one thousand people. He was German, a unique German with whom a Polish man could joke with without fear. The story starts out with Schindler moving to Cracow. He meets Itzhak Stern, whose advice he seeks about taking over a bankrupt business. Itzhak advises Oskar to lease the business. Schindler then takes over an apartment once owned by a Jewish family. He goes to see Mrs. Mina Pfefferberg to consult her on decorating his new apartment, while at her house Schindler meets Poldek Pfefferberg and becomes his friend and “Business acquaintance," (Poldek helped Oskar get Black Market items). Schindler signs papers to lease his enamelware factory also known as Emalia. The next day the Jewish section of Cracow is invaded. Some Jews flee others are killed. Oskar then employs 150 Jews in his factory. In March of 1940 a Jewish ghetto is set up, all Jews must live inside of it. Schindler tells his workers that if they work for him they will be safe and survive the war. Conditions continue to get worse in the ghetto. At the end of 1941 Oskar is arrested and questioned about his factory, his secretary contacts his SS friends who bail him out. In 1942 on Oskar’s birthday he is arrested again for kissing a Jewish girl. An acquaintance of Schindler’s releases him. Some of Schindlers workers are almost sent to labor camps in cattle cars but Oskar has them removed from the trains after threatening the officials. In chapter 15 Oskar and his girlfriend Ingrid are horseback riding on a hill above the ghetto, they witness the liquidation of the ghetto and the murder of men, women, and children. He was especially moved by the sight of a little girl in red who witnesses the murder of a young man. Schindler says, "Beyond this day no thinking person could fail to see what would happen. I was now resolved to do everything in my power to defeat the system." The ghetto continues to be broken down and the remaining Jews are all either sent to the labor camp Plazow or executed. Schindler meets Amon Goeth a commandant of the forced labor camp at Plazow, and explains why his factory can’t be moved to Plazow: “for purely industrial reasons” he says. Oskar bribes many men to keep Emalia a safe haven where there are no beatings and the inmates are mostly well fed. Schindler learns that his Emalia must be disbanded and his workers must be sent to Plazow for “relocation” or in other words they will be sent to the death camps. Schindler tells Amon Goeth that he would like to move his factory to Czechoslovakia and asks him to help him make it possible using his influence. Goeth agrees and allows a list of people to go to the factory with Schindler to be written up. Goeth is arrested for his embezzlements, black-market dealings, and other illegal activities. Schindler transports the men on his list to Brinnlitz (his new camp). The women are sent to a concentration camp, and some are killed. After ten days Schindler gets them sent to Brinnlitz. Several times Schindler manages to evade inspections at his factory and hide the fact that they are producing nothing. On Schindler’s 37th birthday he makes a speech saying that the tyranny will soon be over and that he will stay at Brinnlitz until they are free. The war ends with German surrender, and Germans are being executed. Schindler must flee but before he does, his workers present him with a ring on which is inscribed, "He who saves a single life saves the world entire." Oskar makes another speech encouraging the SS to leave quietly and the workers to restrain themselves from being aggressive towards them. The prisoners also present Schindler with a letter of introduction, written in Hebrew, explaining his extraordinary circumstances. Schindler and Emilie leave the camp, when they cross the Swiss border they are arrested by the French police who believe they might have been concentration camp guards. They left the Hebrew letter with American troops in Czechoslovakia, so they tell the police the truth, the police weep and embrace them and let them go. Oskar hears of Goeth’s death sentence and that he was hanged in Cracow in 1949. Emilie and Oskar move to Argentina where Schindler becomes a farmer. This business fails and he leaves Emilie and moves back to Germany, he buys a cement factory which also fails. In 1961 some of the Schindler survivors invite him to Israel where he lives part of the year froSorry the end was cut off moreResolved Question: Is this a good letter for my bf?

Why did the party that recently celebrated a Senator who was an officer of the KKK say that a polite speech at the 100th birthday of a former Dixiecrat proves you're a bigot and not qualified to be in politics? moreResolved Question: CHRISTIANS!! I need help.?
Hi people, well lately I gave started hating my church. (not really hating, hating) but anywyas.... About 3 weeks ago, me and my sister (I am 18, she is 19) went to a party, also my 15 y/o brother. We invited ALL the youth kids from my church to atten that party. The party was a BIRTHDAY party! My sister is friends with a girl that has NO friends. Her friend, let's name here... Jane. Jane and her family were throwing a party for Jane, they (her family) told my sister, "invite all your friends to the bday party." So my sister, being a kind person knew she -Jane, has no friends at all was going to feel sad that no one was going to go. So she invites the kids from our church. Nearly NONE of them went, only one person. Out of like 10 youth kids. ONLY ONE. We (my siblings and I) told them (the youth kids) told them it's was a good family oriented party. So in other words, they were fully aware that it was a family birthday party. Okay, so we are at the party, my parents, siblings, 1 youth from our church and I go to the bday party, we show up, eat some BBQ, then my parents left and said we will pick you up at 12. These are th people that attended: Jane, me, my sister, my brother, Janes brothers (2) and their girlfriends. THAT'S IT. All family. No strangers. So then the music starts and all. We take pictures of us dancing. Sane dancing. Jane gives a speech. Thanks my sister for being her only friend and not judging her by how she looks like. (you know how high school kids can be) and then we eat some cake. So then the party ends. My parents pick us up, and drive us home. Next day, my sister uploads the pics to Facebook. Normal pics of the bday party, funny poses and what not. About one week later, a girl that we invites to the event, tells a church leader that we went to a party and then she shows her (church leader) pictures of the bday party. She (church leader) then emails the pics to ALL the "leaders" of our church. Next day, one of the leader talks to my day about the pictures being passed around BEHIND OUR BACKS. and then tells my dad, "maybe they should take a break from the music group" (because we play on the church band (-my siblings and I) On that same day we (sibs and I) go to band pratice. (this was before we knew everyone passed pics behind our backs). So we are at band pratice. NO ONE TALKED TO US. It was so weird becuas I was like... What's up with th elephant in the room? It was an akward situation. Now we know why no one talked to us or even said hi. So on your opinion, fellow Christians... What is you opinion about this, keep in mind our church is small. All the leaders have families. And kids. So EVERYONE knows about this. And for some time our church looked at us like we are "of te world" my mom and dad are very angry because of the lack of professionalism of this situation. The one girl who stole the pics from facebook behind our backs showed it to her mom and then "snitched" to eeryone. Now everyone looks at my sister like we are sinners. WE INVITED THEM TOO. Do tey think we would have invited the youth if we would have known it was a bad party? Like seriously. I think the church is wrong in every way. I think the girl who emailed te pics of the bday party that had NO ALCOHOL, NO DRUGS, NO SEXUAL DANCING envies my sister. What do YOU think? Please only answers regarding the question.some more info- Jane does not attend our church, she does not speak te same language. She speaks portuguese but enligh is her secod langauges. But she does believe in God, matter of fact. She has gone to our church several times. The reason I used term "snitch" is because that's what she did, it was a sly move. It's not like she discussed the pictures with us first. She snitched behind our backs. An finay the pictures were not bad, it just showed us posing for pictures. I guess just becuase it was a party she assumes it was associiated with drugs and alochol. (Wich it was it was not) oh and janes parents were there the whole time. They are the ones who took the pictures. moreResolved Question: Is it normal for a 2 1/2 year old to devolop a stutter overnight?
My daughter just turned 2 in a half. I am very blessed to say that she had been "perfectly normal" hitting all the milestones right when she should. Her speech started to develop wonderfully after her second birthday. About a week ago she woke up with a severe stutter. I mean she went from being to understand her 100% of the time, clearly verbally communicating, to stuttering over 75% of the time. OVERNIGHT. She is speaking in 3-5 word sentences and stuttering 2 to 3 words each sentance. It is very hard to understand her and I can tell she is embarresed when we misunderstand her and will not repet herself. This breaks my heart. I did call her Dr., but my husband says I'm making too big a deal about it and it's perfectly normal. Its a "stage" and I should "wait it out." We have been arguing a lot about it because I don't understand how a "normally developing" 2 1/2 year old can go through such a drastic change overnight. moreResolved Question: Need help of what should I say to my sister's 18th birthday?
