For some time I've always figured myself different from other people - or I'm better than other people. I'm not sure what it is, because I've never actually thought about it too seriously, even as I type this and try to express what I'm trying to convey. I watch people, their actions and reactions seem redundant to me, yet I find myself having to follow these examples to get what I want – Why do people feel I always offend them? Why do they care that I’ve offended them? Why do people ask me to tell them about myself (I find this an extremely intrusive question), which people say I have difficulty answering and become evasive? I was physically and mentally abused as a young child by the person who was suppose to be looking after me, this was encouraged by my mother, who would say that this carer should beat and me and my brother in whatever way she chooses – I still have the physical scars to this day to which my mother has gracefully ignored through the time I grew up (And when I look at my brother, I know he will never have a normal life). I find it difficult to talk to my mother because – I used to have panic attacks when walking past people in the street or in crowded places when I was young. My heart use to RACE and I would be on the verge of bludgeoning them if they so much as asked me a question about directions or inquired about what a nice day it was – Girls used to come up and ask me out and want to know about me, and I use to violently attack them. I think this stopped when my mum sent me away to Jamaica – My grandma/Pa had a dog there I liked (it never asked questions and was always nice), my grandma and grandfather used to tie it to a tree because they had cats. I didn’t like this, so I took the cats, and pretty much fed them to the dog (It would shred apart any cat I fed it until it was dead), then I would tell my grandmother that the cats used to get too close to the dog, she had no idea what I was up to. I didn’t enjoy or dislike killing them I was indifferent, it was never part of the equation for me, I just wanted the dog set free so I could spend time with it – My grandparents finally got the point to not waste money on stupid animals that would get close to a larger predator, I would go deeper into the things I did but it’s not something I wish to discuss yet – What I’m trying to say is that’s when my life became simpler. But anyway, I’m 24 now, and I feel I have some control over my demons, I can walk the street, make conversation without feeling the need to attack anyone (As long as it’s not about me for some reason – and when it is it hasn’t gotten physical because I’m usually very brief) – Nobody knows about my past, I’m not even sure I remember all of it. My point is when I talk to her I feel I am regressing and falling back into bad habits, the only solution I have for this is to put a gun in my mouth and pull the trigger. I’d rather not have anything to do with her. I haven’t seen her in a long time – I’ve never sent Christmas or birthday cards or anything like that since I don’t even know how old she is (When I asked her when I was young she use to tell me to “Mind your own fucking business”), even if I did know I wouldn’t waste the money. I cannot tell her this because she’ll run to my other family members and they will denounce me as some ungrateful little brat that I supposedly am not that I actually care because I don’t even seem them either, but it’s more trouble than it’s worth. I checked out a few internet sources and from what I’ve gleaned I would say that I have sociopathic tendencies but I’m not sure since I’m no doctor, this cannot be remedied by medicine, so is cutting my mother off the wiser choice? Can someone give me expert opinion more

Help my dad got addicted to the internet and now all he does is go on facebook and play mafia wars or some game like that!! He comes home from work and goes on it, he gets up early on weekends to go on it,and even goes on it at 2 or 3 in the morning after the pub (he only goes some fridays that's not a problem). Whenever my brother is on it or my little cousins who call over sometimes he tells them he has work to do but as my 8 year old cousins says 'just plays silly games like a baby' I keep alot of the worries and angers inside but i sometimes i make comments, my mom thinks i complain about it because i want to go on facebook myself and don't want dad on it what she doesn't get is that i am above this social networking phenomenon, i think its dumb no offence though. She thinks im like all other teens (16 years) and want to go on it 24/7 but i don't i just think my dad acts more like a teenager than me and my mom doesn't care. I got so frustrated once i told her how I felt, that there are 3 teens in our house now my dad, my brother and me but she just said isn't it better than him going out drinking... Well all my moms friends husbands cook dinner and mind the small kids even actually clean!! But all dad does is log in daily. Its making me resent both of my parents and ive been having bad thoughts about divorce ect.. even thought my mother wouldnt have the strenght or guts for it I dont really want to feel like this but i dont think anyone can change my mind. My friends think its hilarious but its bad enought having you dad adding your friends on facebook and them woundering why you dont go on. Because its a waste of time... I had to get a laptop at christmas because it got so bad..im doing exams next year and need net access for work, i take it seriously...i love my mom for picking the perfect laptop but she made me wait forever to get it and them wounders why i couldnt get english assignments in on time..she think's im so spoilt and rude, even called me an intelluctually 'late developer' yesterday. She cant spell those words and isnt looking at her husband who is so intelectually developed he spends his free time talking crapon the net. She alway smakes jibes lik 'smartass' ect...it hurts wayyy more than calling someone dumb... Sorry for ranting but i feel better, even if noone comments because i cant talk about this to anyone. I steer clear of my dad now (dont even call him dad but had to here), my mum is starting to annoy me as all she does is drink gin and tonic and watch soaps, i talk with my brother about it and let him borrow my laptop but i dont want him hating our parents also and he has it hard at school. My friends dont understand this or really anything i say but i still love them even if they also are social networkers also. I fell like this one silly thing that upsets me so much will just ruin my life. I feel like a trator by being on this now. I feel like ill never want to go out with a guy who has facebook and thats mostly all of them..:( I just dont know what to door where to start. I've been thinking about flunking in school and messing upp tests on purpose for attention but im afraid my mom will just make more jibes, i love fashion and always have better style than friends but latley ive been falling back, no one has noticed though. It was my birthday last month we had cousins and aunts, uncles over for dinner and cake. My mom wrote dads card and he retired to facebook after an hour to the annoyance of my cousin who was looking up clips on you tube. His birthday is this month and my mom is planning a trip away I hope it will break his habit so to speak but im also afraid he will find some internet cafe and spend the days there. Voting Question: I'm on 3. Will my sim work with a Blackberry Curve 8520?

So, I seem to recall reading somewhere that 3 sim cards only work with 3G phones. The phone I have now is a Samsung Omnia Lite (which is 3G, and sim-free, not bought from 3) and works fine. However, I am so totally fed up of a touch screen, so I was planning on asking for a blackberry Curve 8520 (as this is a cheaper blackberry) for my 15th birthday. However, it seems that this phone is not 3G. I am quite confused, because I thought that if a phone could go on the internet, it is 3G. Anyway, 3 does not sell this phone (it only sells Bolds, which I find too business-y, and too expensive) so I was planning on getting in Sim Free. But will my sim card work with it. First, I live in a rural area and my only options for internet access is dialup or satellite. The cost of the satellite is prohibitive, not to mention the fact that I have heard it is not reliable. That leaves us with dialup. We have Verizon telephone service, and the fastest I am ever able to connect is 33.26, but usually it is 28. This is with a 56 k modem. Is there something I can do to increase my speed? I can not access YouTube because of the slow connection, and downloading even songs takes a ridiculous amount of time-forget anything more than a song. My daughter is getting a laptop for Christmas. It is a gift from her grandfather, who gets all of the grandchildren a computer at a certain age range. I am picking it out, and have chosen one with WiFi. I know there are some places that offer free WiFi and some that charge, but is that all she will need to connect? There is also an option for a Wireless card with Bluetooth-I know what Bluetooth is, exactly how does that work on the wireless card? Her father and I are going to get her a docking station for the laptop for her January birthday, and I am wondering how to network my all in one print/scan/copy/fax to her laptop, so that both computers can share the same equipment? First of all, let me say this. Please don't compare or even mention other the other consoles. I have a Wii and I'm very happy with it, and I DON'T want a PS3. EVER. No amount of convincing is going to change that. Please don't list any games because I've already put a list together of what I want. Also, to put it bluntly, I don't care that much about "great graphics", processing power, or online multiplayer. (Maybe multiplayer because of achievements.) I want an Xbox 360, and I was planning on buying one next year anyway with my high school graduation and birthday money combined, so I'll have a lot of money (they're both happening around the same time). But my cousin offered me his old 360 (arcade), a memory card, a controller (or two), and a few games, all for $200. He hasn't had it for even a year, and I know he takes REALLY good care of his stuff, because when I would play with him, he would put it away in the box after he's done playing each time, and he has OCD with cleaning. Glover was a big part of my childhood (I know, it sounds like i had no life but it's true.) but i was never able to beat the clown on the circus level. But that's besides the point.
