Hi, For my friend's birthday, I'd like to make her a really original card. We always tease her about being in love with a certain celeb, so I'd love to doctor a photo of her and merge it with one of the celeb, e.g. to have a photo of them kissing or whatever. (Juvenile I know, but she'd find it funny!) I have NO idea how to make a photo like this! I have a ton of photos of her, and can get ones online of the celeb. Then when my photo is done, I will upload it to a site like moonpig which will make it into a birthday card! I don't know how to do it though and I don't have photoshop, does anyone know of any free online programs where you can put 2 photos together etc? Ok so I originally started just with the idea of selling bracelets. I love making bracelets from beads I get at like Michaels or Joan Fabrics. I am VERY good with computers and was hoping to make a website for myself as well. But, I also thought about selling some other things. I can scrapbook as well, and was considering making greeting/birthday/wedding cards. I have a few questions, but I think my Dad can answer those when I present the idea to him (and please don't think when I say I haven't asked him yet that I'm planning on sneaking it around him lol...because that's just not gonna happen! xD). But my one MAJOR question, is how exactly do people sell their crafts? Do they sell them by the singles, and just whoever sees it gets it? Do they take requests (like specific colors/types of beads)? Or do they just make the same bracelets over and over? I was thinking maybe I could just make them in singles and sell them and also allow people to request their own colors, it just might cost an extra dollar and take me a little longer since it won't already be made. I was thinking that for part of his gift I would get him a year or something of xbox live, since he is almost up on his free-trial that came with his console. I found some 12 month subscription cards on best buy's website, but im kind of confused about how it works. Which one do you recommend getting if I just want him to be able to log in and play online with his friends for one year without paying anything besides what i spend on the card ? I have never personally opened a credit card; however, I was just denied a credit card. Out of suspicion, I checked my free credit report online. I suspected that my mother opened a credit card in my name. I confirmed my birthday I confirmed my previous address (it said I had 4, but I've only lived in 2) I couldn't confirm my "chase" credit card number. Therefore, in order to prove my identity, I needed to confirm all 3 of the above. Unfortunately, I've never opened a chase bank credit card, therefore I had no account number. We will be at Disney early next month, and we have park hopper passes for everyone. However, we are using the free admission voucher for our daughter, who will be 4 the day we go to MK (Magic Kingdom). We have noted that there are various options for "reimbursement," and if we can time it right, we would like to get the "fun pass" which, from my understanding, is a credit on a card to use as you like, with stipulations (like not on hotel stay or food). My question is, does anyone know how much this reimbursement is for? Since she is a child, we had heard it was around $75, but online I have seen as low as $50, and as much as $100. I guess it depends on what type of pass you have (we have 5 day)... If anyone happens to know, or who would know BEFORE we get there, that would really help! If not, I guess we can just wait and be "surprised" upon arrival. Thanks in advance for the info! more

I've gone through this crisis before particularly when I'm going through a transitional time. I don't want to make my friend feel badly because she is really into the New Age and cards and things and I have been as well. Resolved Question: How do I handle a scammed donation and what exactly do I need to do?

Basically, my little brother does play a game which is online. It's free, but they accept donations. It was his birthday, and he showed me how he could get some things for his little game character. Well, I found out the little stinker had been making multiple charges with the information that saved on his computer pertaining to my debit card/credit card. It was over $245, and the people who run the game said they'd give me a refund. I had all items returned, and I obtained statements and receipts for charges made that were absolutely unauthorized; I gave them to the merchant(s). Now, it's been over 2-3 weeks since they last contacted me but none of my calls, emails, or attempts to make contact are going answered...I believe they feel if they ignore it I won't do anything now... So, how exactly do I handle this because my brothers been dealt with, I thought I had handled it with the merchants, but I refuse to let them run off with money that is budgeted for bills! Resolved Question: Who Wins?: XBox 360 VS. PS3?

Ok, ok. I know what you all are thinking, "This is an unsolvable question!". I realize that, however, I am having a hard time deciding between possibly getting an Xbox 360 or a Playstation 3. I love both systems [I recently fell in love with 360] & there may be a possibility of me getting one for my birthday in April. But I don't know which one to choose. Currently, here's what I think: Xbox 360: Pros: the games are awesome [Left4Dead = <3], Live is really fun, it has more games I'm getting into [Halo, Dead Space, etc, etc]. Cons: RED RING OF DEATH [you have to pay for the repairs, right?], I'll buy Live & not use it, how much it's going to add up to [$200 for the system + $30 for live + unknown amounts of money for the games & accessories]. Playstation 3: Pros: backwards compatibility, back up incase my old PS2 crashes [I have one of those old, bulky ones, had it since 2004. :] ], more of the games i'm used to, blueray, free online play [i think?], more familiar controls. Cons: the price will add up, no memory card slots [at least not on the one my friend has], father will only use it for blueray player [i've had way to many friends that has had that happen to them]. At the moment, I'm currently leaning for the Xbox more [I'm not exactly sure why though]. I'm just looking for someone to give me some guidance about how both systems are & maybe answer the questions I had for it. First of all, let me say this. Please don't compare or even mention other the other consoles. I have a Wii and I'm very happy with it, and I DON'T want a PS3. EVER. No amount of convincing is going to change that. Please don't list any games because I've already put a list together of what I want. Also, to put it bluntly, I don't care that much about "great graphics", processing power, or online multiplayer. (Maybe multiplayer because of achievements.) I want an Xbox 360, and I was planning on buying one next year anyway with my high school graduation and birthday money combined, so I'll have a lot of money (they're both happening around the same time). But my cousin offered me his old 360 (arcade), a memory card, a controller (or two), and a few games, all for $200. He hasn't had it for even a year, and I know he takes REALLY good care of his stuff, because when I would play with him, he would put it away in the box after he's done playing each time, and he has OCD with cleaning. It sounds like a good deal, and I've already done some research, but I'm not sure about a few things. When is Microsoft planning to release its next NEW console? Should I just wait for that? When (if ever) will the next price drop and/or they redesign the system (like PS2 slim)? What exactly is its failure rate? I read that Red Ring of Death is covered by the warranty, though. Did your 360 ever break-down? How long have you had your 360? Should I buy pro/premium instead? Does arcade have internal memory? What are some good features about it? Can you play music while playing games on it? How would you put music on it? What are all the things the arcade lacks besides more memory/removable hardrive and backwards compatibility? What exactly are achievements? Some more things I want to know are about online. I think it has some good online features and I want to use them. How would I update it if I don't have it connected to the internet? How would I connect to the internet? I don’t have a wireless router, only the Nintendo wi-fi usb connector for my wii. Can I just use cables/cords? Is online free? I think silver is, and I know Gold is $50 per year. What are the things you can do and buy online? If/when I am able to go online, what are some online features?
