My friends that are girls say I'm like one of the sweetest guys or a complete sweetheart in the whole school, I really listen to what they have to say and I just have to have eye contact with them while talking, I'm dependable when their in a bad mood and they call me to just talk about their situations because I just love talking with my ladie friends and helping, love to get gifts whether it's their birthday, holidays or when their in a bad mood, pretty sensitive ;) and funny, just love to hug, hold hands, and cuddle. Donating to charity, I sometimes just can't stand seeing little children out there like that. Just love to tell a girl that their beautiful in any way. I love to dance, play sports and have fun and laugh. When I listen to music, I love inspirational and love songs (R&B and pop) just to think about the girl or friends I love. Without a doubt, if I was ever in a relationship, I would treat the women with respect, love her and be faithful. No smoking or drinking for me ever! i know its like super early for planning my birthday, but thats the way i roll. There is a man who I have become friends with at a local place I got to, with a friend on most Thursdays. He comes over to talk with us every time & never goes back to his friends, unless he invites them to sit with us too. He is late 30s, I am in early 20s. The first time I really got talking to him was on his Birthday; we danced outside & sang along to some songs I was playing. We both knew all the words & found out we love the same music, and it was a freezing night & he lent me his jacket, & the next time I saw him, he came up to me when my friend was in the toilet & seemed quite embarrassed about last time, but I made his Birthday much better because of it. He compliments me sometimes, but he's also said that it it isn't only inner beauty & happiness is the single most important thing. Personality is something I have bucket loads of, he said, when talking about inner beauty. He's said before, after complimenting me that he isn't trying to get into my pants, even though he's sure they're lovely; (as if he thinks I might be thinking that he's coming across too strong). He likes to pretend to know my mind, saying I can read people & have some sort of gift, & we are similar. He's very intelligent. He also has a lot of charisma. My friend thinks he's very attractive, but she argues with him because they are both stubborn when discussing their opinions. He's also quite funny. He shortens my name to Rose & always tells us to come back next week. On the night of his Birthday, his friend said 'leave them, they like each other.' when we were outside singing. Who knows if he thinks about me at all, or thinks I'm someone he likes to talk to. He has said he likes our company & he likes to help me with my problems. Last time he asked me about me & this guy & I said nothing was happening anymore. He asked me later about looking for love & I said I whatever happens really, & he said 'that's the best way to think.' He's made a sexual joke or two, & compliments my friends, but they say the common denominator is always me (who he gives the most attention to), I find myself thinking about him quite a bit now. He has a 3 year old daughter though, who he opnely talks about, although he's never married. He makes sure we get home ok. Last time he waved to me when our taxi went past him on our way home. Is it possible he thinks about me? I never saw him this week, as I didn't go to that place, but I know he would most likely be there. Cycle of Deafening Silence My life has always been like rain on a beautiful sunny day. It’s like one of my good drawings that after so much effort and hard work, I accidently spill juice all over it, ruined, I think. Suddenly, my paper stands up, walks over to the trash, but before it jumps in it says to me “Dang your life really does suck.” Kind of like when the guy I’ve been crushing on tells me that he’s only interested in me as a friend. As I let my eyes flood with tears and flow quickly down my cheeks like waterfalls, I run to my room and lock myself in and ask myself why nothing goes right and say that I can’t stand my life. Seriously, nothing ever comes out right, just like this paper. I’m just spilling out whatever comes to my mind. I’m just glad I won’t have to keep this to myself any longer. Getting a nightmare and waking up in the middle of the night only to find that the scary sound in my dream as just the swish of the breeze outside and the screechy scratch of a tree’s branch brushing against your window. Then, I get the flashback of me in the 8th grade when I was at the end of the lunch line. I’m reminded of Jordan Pruitt’s song, “Outside Looking I.” When it says “… the things that you say, you may think I never hear about them, but word travels fast, I’m telling you to your face, I’m standing here behind your back… you don’t know what it’s like to be left out, and you don’t know how it feels to be your own best friend, on the outside looking in.” That day I was standing behind a girl in line who spread this big rumor about me but she didn’t know me at all. Her and her friends would say things about me and I was right behind them hearing every word they said. Trying to hold back the tears already welling up in my eyes, I found myself imagining me yelling at them and telling them that they thought they knew me, saying things that they had no proof of being true because they didn’t take the time to get to know me. To stay out of my life because it’s already enough to hear from your own dad that your stupid and unwanted to him. You don’t know how something tastes until you try it. My life is already miserable. I don’t need more things to carry on my back and later unload all of them on someone else who doesn’t deserve it just because I don’t feel like carrying around my problems anymore. I’m not a package mule. Next, it’s this. I’m tired of all this crap that’s going on! Having to move to different places all my life, starting over, and sometimes not even get to finish the school year at that school. It’s all because of school. Starting over and having to prove yourself to everyone that your worthy of having friends. That you’re not how they think you are. Then, when you’re finally happy because you have friends and everything’s going great, you get the news. You’re moving again because your house is going into foreclosure, and just a couple of days before your birthday. It’s a cycle on which I have absolutely no control, I wish I did though. It seems kind of funny how we always move around the time of my birthday, then again it makes me mad because getting the news that it’s moving time again always hits me as if in a car crash. Then the anger comes through during the harsh impact. It’s like an unexpected hit when you make a turn and someone crashes you because they were too stupid to notice that the light was on red and not green. Then, instead of stopping to find out if you’re okay, they drive on faster, with that fear that they’ll have to pay for the damage they made. Leaving you with a messed up car, you’re alone. My life is that messed up car, but instead of screaming out for help, it sits there, in deafening silence. My car has dents everywhere. It’s been crashed too many times, that’s how much I’ve been hit. I’ve moved too many times and I wrote this because I know what it’s like to move and start fresh when you really didn’t want to. I know what it’s like to be my own best friend. So I’m there, left alone in the car with only my thoughts moving around quickly like molecules in heat. Sometimes I really just want to scream out to the world to leave me alone with my own misery ‘cuz it’s none of there business you know, but all I managed to choke out was “pepperoni please,” because somehow I was now at the front of the line about to get my lunch. In the end, my life sucks really badly sometimes. Of course now I have friends, but I’m being really careful because somehow I expect to get crashed again, even if it’s supposed to be unexpected. MLIA -Today, I read something that said "Birthdays are good for you! Statistics show that people who have more of them live longer." -Today, I realized that I can do a very convincing British Accent. Me and my friend decided that it would be fun to stop and ask people in our local mall to hear my "American Accent" and tell me if my practice was paying off. Okay, this might get kind of long but your answers will be SO appreciated. So, we've known each other since like 1st grade. We live in the same town & are in the same grade, but we don't go to the same school. We just started talking for the first time in about 4 or 5 years a month or so ago, and we really hit it off. At least I think so. We were talking on MySpace and we had a lot to talk about, and he commented one of my pictures and said "wow, you're very pretty :)". And then I gave him my number and we texted sometimes. Hi, I am currently in doubt whether to pursue this or not. Well, I was disappointed by a girl which I liked in high school about a year and a half ago. I secretly liked her for 3 years. Now both of us has moved on and she has a boyfriend now and I am still single. Well, i met a girl in my university which was a friend of mine during my college years. I never perceived her more than a friend but it gradually changed. She is kind, funny and nice to be with. She really helped me get back on my feet again. I have a new crush in our school, he is also my classmate. Every time in our seating arrangement he will be always near at me or seat beside me. ( I am always seated beside with my friends(girls). We only talk much about our studies and we talk a little about other things. When we see each other in the corridor, he will always greet me and my friends(girls).
