So I'm turning thirteen soon, yeah, finally a teen! But, I need some ideas! This needs to be the best birthday party ever! I had a few ideas in mind... tell me what you think! 1.) Renting a limo and having it pick a few of me and my closet friends up from school! I was thinking we could go to the mall for a little bit, and then change into our pajamas and go to pump it up! We'd then go home and have a sleep over (cake, games, movies, etc.) 2.) Having a dance party! My mom picks us up from school and takes us to our house, we change into our swim suits, and go swimming and dance around to music in my back yard. Kind of like back yard dance party type thing. Open Question: Miss Popularity PC Game Music Guy Trouble!!!?

I've been playing the computer game Miss Popularity for a while now but I'm stuck on one part. I have the music guy and after I went to his Birthday Party and met his ex girlfriend, she wants him back and I know where to find my boyfriend but he always say's the same thing, that he needs more time to think about who he likes better. I pressed the F1 button for help and it just tells me "Try to convince your boyfriend that your the one for him." I've been putting on every single outfit I can think of, with makeup, new hair, manicures and everything! My best girl friend keeps telling me to get a new outfit and a manicure but I've already done that. I've been playing for weeks trying to get past this part but I'm still stuck!!!!! Can somebody that's beat the game please give me some advice on how to get past this part. I need help! more

Open Question: What should I do?!?!?!?!? I've never been with a girl before!!!!?

So I've just recently accepted that I'm bisexual, although I've kind of known it for quite some time. My group of friends all went to the same middle school but ended up in three different high schools due to the district lines being redrawn and stuff. So one of my friends was having her birthday party and she invited everybody for a sleepover, which was the first time I had seen a few of them since the previous year. Well one of my friends(the one i like, so lets just call her Amelia(not her real name)) told us she was bisexual, casually because many of us already knew. People went around stating their sexuality and when it came to me i said i was unsure. Most of my friends agreed that I seemed like I was bi and they were completely cool with it. Well the entire day I couldn't stop looking at Amelia and she kept looking at me. She's a really dominant person and I'm really submissive so she would always climb on top of me in a joking manner, pretending to be sexual but I think she enjoyed it. Later we played the usual party games: truth-or-dare, never-have-I-ever, etc. Well somehow we got to confessing things that we had never told anyone and we started talking about suicide and cutting. I remember I was tearing up and trying not to cry because a lot of my friends had cut before including me and it was the first time I had told anyone other than a counselor and my mother. Well Amelia was one of them and she was trying not to cry either so i went to go sit on the other side of the room where i was going to sleep and sort of sat there in a trance. Amelia came over and wrapped her arms around me, burying her face in my hair. She kept telling me that my hair smelled good and rubbing her face on my neck. So we kind of stayed like that for an hour or so and she continued to hold me. I felt so safe and warm and happy inside. Thats when I confirmed the fact that I am bi. Well eventually we fell asleep right next to each other and we were almost spooning. My other friends kept remarking on how sweet and cute we looked. I know sounds like I don't have a problem but the thing is Amelia has a boyfriend. The way she acts around me means she is most defiantly attracted to me but I have no idea what to do!!!!!!!!! I've never been with a girl before. And I'm pretty inexperienced with dating in general. I'm so sorry for making this so long and it would have been longer if I had included all of the other details. So should I tell her how i feel or wait for her to say something to me? Should I just do nothing because she has a boyfriend? I appreciate any help you can give me!!!!!! more

Voting Question: Is there something wrong with me, or is this normal for teens my age?

Since grade four to about two years ago I used to always have a crush or some sort of infatuation with a boy at school. Always. I would day dream about them, obsess about the way they looked at me, what they said, the conversations we had ... I'd always wonder, does this boy like me, or maybe him, or him ... It was always something and it mattered to me. It's been a while since I've had a crush on a real person. I went through a bi curious faze, and then shortly after that they only people I liked in a romantic or sexual sense where anime characters. Light Yagami, L, Haruhi Fujioka, Tama-chan, etc. The list is quite long. I think I might be an escapist and maybe my escapism contributed to the change that has happened to me. Because I don't want a romantic relationship, and 'who likes who' and 'does he like me?' is now trivial to me. My obsession has changed from boys (secretly. It was rare for me to tell ANYONE that I liked them) to anime/manga. Maybe my apathetic attitude towards real romance started after my situation with this one boy? He asked me out over Facebook and I liked him, but I didn't know if I wanted to date him. However, I said yes because I felt cornered. He told me how he doesn't fit in and how bad he feels sometimes because of how people treat him, etc. He thenproceededd to tell me that I would never like him. I told him I did, and long story short, he told me he loved me right after I agreed to date him. We never went out and I broke up with him by the end of the week. I don't consider it a relationship. Is it normal for ateenaged girl to go from boy crazy to obsesse with another thing? When I was younger (much younger) I wanted to get married and have children, now I would hate being a mother and a spouse. Last weekend I was invited to a birthday party (which I thought was a little odd. I didn't know my peers still celebrated their birthdays with friends. Maybe that's just me ...) It was ... interesting. It was myself and seven other girls. So, of course, we play Truth or Dare (the birthday girl had an app on her phone so the dares were random, etc.) One of the dares was: kiss the person on your left. And guess what dare I got? I don't know why, but all of a sudden I got really nervous, and even though it was just a peck on the person's check I couldn't do it. I'm not a homophobe, but I just couldn't. I keep making excuses for myself like, "Well everyone was watching and I've never kissed someone/been kissed before. I want my first time to be speical" "I wasn't sure if they were consensual. I don't know if they like me THAT much" etc. I ended up just giving that person an indirect kiss. Later the Bday girl thought it would be fun to play the 'Spin the Bottle' app she had on her phone. Yay(sarcasm). I kissed arms and licked someones face, but I felt really awkward. The other girls were a little awkward themselves, but not nearly as me. Extra tib bit of info: Two weeks ago I crossplayed (Crossplayed: when someone dresses up as a character from a manga, anime or sometimes video game of the opposite sex) as Matt from Death Note. Now I just can't wait to get a chance to do it again. I've considered wearing it to school, but decided against it. I'm really into cosplay/crossplay. I would love to dress up as someone every day. But I never do ... Am I normal? Or is something wrong with me? more

So my 14th birthday is around the corner and I have very little idea what I’m going to do, no games come to mind! I desperately need games!! My house is small, but the downstairs is fairly open. We’re not allowed upstairs during parties because it’s small and my brothers’ rooms are too close to my own for courtesy. The only other circumstance is to try to avoid my grump-munster bros (and my dad -but the whole time he‘ll probably be building something or sleeping for his work (nightshift, luckily). (around five to seven 13/14 year old girls running around, maybe my friend Matt, (but Matt’s gay [literally, not jerkish insult] so it’s not going to waver anything, he’ll be going home before the sleepover itself, assuming he attends) So far, I know this will be going on: 1. ---It’s a slumber party, we’ll crash all over the T.V/living room. 2. ------During the day we’ll have the first two Twilight Saga films playing for a few hours, but afterwards we’re going to have a continuous marathon of lame horror vampire movies. (captions, no sound, it’s mostly for people not enjoying the particular game) 3.-----We’re probably going to do makeovers. 4.--- Only healthy snacks, and that’s already planned as far as my mom says. No candy (I’m getting braces in march). No cake, but awesome decorated cupcakes (in case that sparks inspiration) 5----I know I’ll have a ton of music, letting the guests send me individual playlists so everyone gets what they like. 6---- I’m a June baby, so we might be going outside, but it’s not likely because it’s usually buggy and hot. No pool, no trampoline, only a small wooden play-gym and open space for about 12 feet by 10 feet. No pool party, and no lual because my mom doesn’t want to spend too much money. 7---- I live in inland CT, so a three hour drive to the beach is out of the question :’( But other than those ideas, I have to find a way to fill 48 hours with very entertaining activities that girls (and a feminine guy for about a quarter of that time) can play and be entertained by. more

He broke up with me because he's been confused and messed in the head(Says himself). That he's unsure what to do. Not only that, I know he was loosing feeling. I could see it, but at the same time I know he loves me. . So I'm beyond baffled. Well for one, once we go to school were going to see each other a lot. We walk pass the same directions to almost every one of our classes. We sit at the same lunch. We have the same Drama class together. Technically, it's like torture for the both of us. So I know that us getting over one another will be difficult cause we can't see each other and I'm happy about that. Cause that means there is a greater chance for me to show him I'm the girl that he wants and I can show him that I can make him happy. But I'm going to take a slow approach on this. Me and my ex had an amazing relationship, but when it comes to our past I have more experience within years of being with someone. He said I was the girl he's been waiting for and that he was in love with me. Lately he's been busy and I hardly see him; so we went through being together everyday to not getting to see each other except school.We both have the same destination in life and he means the world to me, so I don't want to make a mistake so he'll pull away from me. I already did the text massacre, but it was just one long text explaining crap. And I didn't bother him after that. Then the next day I texted him saying he was welcomed to still come to my birthday party. . but he didn't and I knew he wouldn't. Then I called him and said we seriously need to talk that night because we didn't get the chance. But he didn't call back after I left the message. So my plan is to not talk to him until he comes to talk to me. . But if he doesn't, then this Friday I was going to approach him and say we need to seriously talk. But I'm afraid if I give him time away, he'll get over me. . . I don't want to stress him out and I want us to ACTUALLY talk about the situation. Because we didn't. . . He just said he's messed up in the head and that I was perfect. That he loved me but he shouldn't have a girlfriend and he couldn't be a good boyfriend to me. I really think it's the lack of experience and I don't want him to get away. I don't want to regret not speaking up. What do I do?? Me and Garrett have been best friends since last year. We used to go out but then i dumped him and then we became best friends after that? Over this summer, he had a girlfriend who happens to be one of my good friends. i am 16 and this girl is 13 her name is Abby, she lives in california and I live in las vegas, ever since i was 10 i went to visit california for a 3 day vacation to visit my aunt(dad's sister) and uncle(Abby's mom's brother) and 2 cousins one names Paul(age 16) and another Michelle(age 7) and they have a 'first cousin' Abby(age 7), i didnt notice Abby that time probably because she was too young and i was not into girls that time, we alway had parties because we are mexicans and Abby was there in all parties. went went home till next year we will go back to california, I was 11, Abby is 8, Michelle is 8, Paul is 17, we came back and party then go back home, I was 12, Abby was 9, Michelle was 9, Paul was 18, go back more parties go home, I was 13, Abby was 10, Michelle was 10, Paul was 19 and he was going to get married and no party this time, instead a mexican wedding party and this time my aunt and uncle and 2 other cousins visited from Oregon, then we went home, I was 14, Abby was 11, Michelle was 11, Paul was 20 and he had a child, my aunt and uncle and Michelle went to visit us this time and we went to casinos and took pictures and they went home, finally i was 15, and she is 12, Mechelle is 12, Paul is 21 and she were going to do a Mexican baby birthday party and my cousins from Oregon visites too, and when we were going to the party, i noticed Abby I dont know how old she is but i never felt this way, she was pretty and i didnt know her name that time, we went to the party and went back to my aunt and uncles house, so did Abby because they are her and and uncle too, i talked to her she told me her name and how old she is and found out she was my cousins cousin too but from the other side of the family, my dad told me that Abby is my far cousin, i was checking something and found out she is my 3rd cousin, we both have the same Great Great Grandparents, thats pretty far, was was talking with Abby told where she was born she said at california and i said how come i never seen you and she said i seen you like every year at parties, and my aunt from oregon came and talked to Abby and my aunt was trying to whisper to me, "shes pretty" and she wants me to ask her out and get her number, i didnt ant to and i dont know why Abby felt different from other girls, later next day we all went to the beach and Abby came with us later she had to go home to her home and step dad, then i felt so down she was pretty and nice and smart, later we went home and i didnt eat that much and stopped play video games and my guitar, later on i staerted playing guitar again because i was thinking i could impress her, few months later my aunt uncle and Michelle visited but this time they brought Abby and her little sister Ester(age 7) because they want to see the casinos, no one likes Ester like my little brother Steve(age 8), had 2 other brothers, Irvin(age 13) and Erik(age 12), Abby calls me white boy because im mexican and cant speak spanish that well but i can understand it well, and my skin is kinda white, Michelle thinks i like Abby because my da told my aunt and uncle because they noticed i act different, Michelle tried way to get me and Abby together, she even told Abby that i like her, Abby laughed a little but i think she doesnt believe her, everybody THINKS i like her, but they dont really know if thats true, later on i did tell Michelle and she went to tell Abby but thsi time she told her i said it but she still giggled and didnt believe her, Michelle told me Abby likes me and that she told her but i dont know if i believe her, i still talk to Abby i make her laugh and smile with my jokes, soon they all went back to california, my dad tried to force me to talk to her in the phone but i didnt want to because i have nothing to say, she sounds like she has nothing to say and always passes the phone to Michelle then hanges up, i am trying to find out what to say next time we meet but i have a problem, i dont know how to talk to anybody especially my friends and dont know how to start conversations, people in school think im shy but im not i just dont know what to say. Present day i am 16, Abby is 13, Mechelle is 13, i dont know why i like a little girl and i did like couple of girls in school but she feels so different and i think it hapended like 3 times i had a dream about her and NEVER happened to any other girl i met, to me she is the prettiest girl i seen and is nice and smart, i think im in love with her, i think she is my friend and she is my 3rd cousin and i didnt think i would fall for this kind of girl, im not an incest or pedifile, should i try to get this girl, if i should can you help to give me something to say or something to do to win her heart, i play guitar and play around like a little kid, thats all i can do. more

Im having my 13th birthday party at a hote l(i get a discount cause my mom works there) and it has a pool and a fitness room, what i was planning on doing is this, using the meeting room for 13 girls plus me to eat cake and open presents then go swimming in the pool and go use the fitness room, but ONLY 4 people plus me and sleeping over one hotel room and idk if its weird for the people who arent sleeping over to come to a hotel but then not sleepover. I'm turning 13 in a few months. I want one REALLY bad! My dad is very, very strict about it. My mom is too but not AS strict. I want one because: I have a bunch of friends that go to other schools, I have friends that moved away, I'm going on a cruise soon and I always make friends on cruises and want to keep in touch with them, I cant keep up with all the drama going on in school, I want to talk to my friends after school, I want to be able to join all the groups lmao, I want to play games like farmville that everyone loves, and I want to upload pictures and look at my friend's. My dad was like yelling at him for me trying to ask him, so I just let it go and walked away. I really want them to see me as mature and to let me have one. My dad says that my friends can upload stupid pictures of me at a party or something and it can ruin my life. He doesnt understand that 1. I have good friends that would never do that to me! 2.They can do that even if I dont have a facebook! and 3. Theres always a way to make your friends delete the picture or tell facebook. He says I might do something stupid that could ruin my life someday. Uhm, I wont! I'm a smart girl and I know right from wrong and he should understand that he taught me good. He says he doesnt want me "out on the internet" and even he doesnt have one. What the heck, there are so many privacy options its crazy! I'm really fed up because I've been wanting one for a while. I am having my daughter's 4th Birthday Tinkerbell/ Peter Pan Birthday party at a place called Toddle Town. It is basically an indoor playground that is specifically for toddlers. My daughter has cerebral palsy and cannot walk. Everything I find online lists all these fun games and crafts to do. Is it okay if I don't do structured games and crafts and just let the kids run wild and play? I did plan on giving the boys pirate hats, swords and eye patches and giving the girls wands, wings, and pixie dust to play into the Tinkerbell/ Peter Pan theme. There is going to be at least 20 kids (all her friends from preschool) and I suspect most of the parents will stay, do I need to prepare anything to keep them entertained? For a 2 1/2 hr party, do I need to provide snacks in addition to the pizza and cake? If so, what do you suggest for snacks? I really appreciate your advice. This is the first birthday party that will be friends and not family. more
