I made the title a lil bolder so you would HELP ME!!! Hello my name is Mimi, I am an out going bright 12 year old turning 13 december 5th. which is on a sunday, so I decided I will have it on 4th aka a saturday so the kids won't have to go home to early. Now here's my plan I will rent out a banquet room or some kind of hall and get a caterer and party planner, I'm getting round tables about 50 of them and folding chairs about 120 of those, I'm going to decorate them with black and a purple bow sash around the chair and either have purple or black table cloths. Also I'm going to have a stage just a regular one. I will have a Dj next to the stage I was hoping to get the Dj on Jersey Shore that would be the sh!t. Next to the Dj I will have a long food table full of mini hot dogs, french fries, chicken nuggets, meat balls, etc. etc. And at the end have a huge thing of cupcakes and a chocolate fountain. On the other side of the room there will be a gaming area with xbox 360, play station 3, and a wii and a huge selection of games and some guy to switch the games and monitor it. My invitations will be handed out by me and my 2 best friends at school after lunch when we walk around outside they will be wearing white sweat suits on the back saying V.I.P Mimi, one will be in blue the other will be in pink, I will have my Betsey Johnson dress on with my jacket. The inventions will be V.I.P passes. My grand entrance will be me sitting on a giant cake where 4 guys carrying me in across a pink carpet. I will blow out a huge 7 layer hot pink light pink and zebra print cake. I am going to have 5 dresses and a aerial acrobatic outfit and a performer. -Do you think this sounds like the BEST 13th birthday ever? Because I really wish it was my party LOL! do you???? I want to give my daughter a party this year for her third birthday but not sure what to do to keep the kids occupied. Most of the guests will be 3 or under and obviously their parents will be there, but what do you actually do for a three year olds party? I am a 17 yr old female. My parents are awful. My Dad has never been there for me at all. He lives in the same house as me and i see my friends parents more than i see him.I think i have hugged him maybe five times in 17 years... He doesn't know anything about me; fav. color, birthday, nothing like that. In his mind. I am nothing. My mother always have this attitude with me, If i am just talking she'll say i am really getting ready just to slap the mess out of you.if i am just trying to tell her about my day she'll just say "Shut-up Kristina, i've had a really long day and i don't feel like talking to you." and then i'll just say i'm just trying to talk to you and she blows up saying that i have an attitude and everything. I even tried to give her a hug one day and she just literally shoved me off. I have never done anything bad but they are making me feel like i killed someone or something. I have a boyfriend of a year, he is actually an exception to the others' the day he asked me out he said he really wanted me to know he really wants to wait until marriage to have sex and he's never pressured me into things. We see each other a lot and he calls me every morning with sweet love words, and he writes me poems and songs and everything; and my parents won't even try to get to know him or his family. It really bugs me, because he's so important to me. And then on top of that they do not trust me. I am a good kid, good grades, don't do drugs or sneak out and they won't even let him and me into my room to play video games with the door open, and where they can sit in the living room they can still see us. And she always says how him and i are having sex, and WE DON'T . I just wish they would trust me. And then if i know i am going to be late for curfew i will call her like four or five hours before to tell her and make sure she knows, and i think that should be consider responible, but i still get hell from her when i come home. And then they obsess over my nieces' and nephew and my room is now filled with all kinds of things for them and it makes me upset because they have never given crap about me while i was growing up, half the time they can't even remember my name, they go through the other three sibilings and then they're like "YOU KNOW I MEAN YOU!" . And they treat me like a maid ever since i was seven i would be force to clean the house, scrub the kitchen floor with a sponge or a tooth brush instead of a mop, use heavy chemicals and all. I mean it's pretty sad when a 7year old little girl knows if clorox or Mr. green works better on mold and mildew. It has gotten worse. I don't even feel at home in my house. I feel more at home at my boyfriends home, his parents adore me and they always want to take me places and know how my day was and all. They remember my birthday and my favorite foods.My family doesn't.Infact the other day my dad came home from the store with Jam and peanut butter and said "Here you go i know how much you like grape jam and peanut butter sandwichs." ...i am allergic to jam....So i am ranting, but i just wish they would be my parents. they never made it to school plays or softball games, they don't want to get to know my friends, i've never had a birthday party, i just wish i could talk to them, but i can't even trust them. I don't even know them. So i was saying would it be awful for me to dislike my parents VERY strongly?And also she lets my sister go around and spend nights with guys, she's having sex, and if they are arguning she'll just get up and leave and take the car that's not even hers and go off. And this has been going on for years, she curses the crap out of my parents, i get introuble for saying crap, so they really favor her over me, she has lupus, so whatever she can't physically do i can't, like she can't go to waterparks, or be outside too long, so i can't do that either. it's unfair and i have turned down offers from friends to go down to the beach becuase they said angela would get jealous becuase she can't do that, and i am kinda like it sucks that she has that but that doesn't mean treat me like i have it too :/ more

I feel so freaky everything I do contradicts what most other people do? Do I have like a disorder or something that makes me WANT to be different from others? My youth: On the weekends, I liked to wake up at 7:00. I liked video games, but I liked stuff like Sims. I HATED blood and killing games. I hate tattoos and gum. I also liked to learn and study, and I didn't even think of having a girlfriend until 18. I had my first kiss at 21, and I only had one girlfriend my whole life: My wife. I only wanted to have sex to have kids, never for pleasure, and I never had a wet dream. I have masturbated and ejaculated though, but never had a wet dream. I loved to be called a nerd, a dork, or a geek, but couldn't stand being called a loser. I helped everyone, no matter how severe the consequence. i was too nice. Once I spread shock around the cafeteria at my workplace when a coworker said, 'Would you have sex with megan fox if she asked you right now?" and I said, 'No, I'm happily married". Then he said 'What if you weren't married?" and I said "There are other means of affection that I like better. Plus I only like sex to have children, and I would have to get to know her first and fall in love." I never smoked pot or weed, which shocks all of my friends (Why? It's not that hard to resist the temptation!). My first drink was on my 22nd birthday. I hate beer and only drink red wine and occasionally Champagne. I hated college because my vision of it was study study and more study. I was shocked to find out it was all about parties. I never went to a single party, and college is where things got serious, only three things happened in college: I was always either at class, studying/hw, or out with my girlfriend. I hate parties and nights out. i prefer staying indoors, reading a good book, and snuggling with my wife. I have very strict rules planned for my kids and very harsh consequences to follow.I dont think it's weird but why do other people think it's weird? more

I have twin girls that are going to be 2 this weekend on Saturday. I feels so confused and overwhelmed, I need to get the details sorted out. Can you help? Here's some background: We're having it in a park with a pond nearby (not for swimming or anything). There are picnic tables and that's where we'll be set up. There's playground equipment nearby and lots of grassy areas. We'll be serving cut-up fruit, hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, things like that. I've invited several kids, though my girls are the youngest with the exception of a 1-year-old, and lots of adults, all their aunts and uncles and grandparents and some friends of the family too. Here is what needs to be decided: What should my girls wear? I bought them some beautiful birthday dresses but should they wear them at the park? Or should they wear them for a little bit and change before eating/playing? Should we have games? It is a park, and there's other things for the big kids to do already. How should we decorate? I mean REALLY small. I have one friend. I think I'd like to invite her sister too. Maybe one of their friends if they want. And I also have a sort of friend that I haven't talked to in a long time. Oh, and I'm turning 13 FINALLY!!!! My birthday is in october. I know, still a while away. But I like to plan ahead. So, first, I need a place. My house is just NOT party material. My room is super messy, there are smelly dogs (that like to pee on the floor) and the heating and air conditioning sucks. I was thinking a hotel, nothing special, just one with a pool and a room. Like $100. If I start getting an allowance and start saving I could afford it. And does anyone know if most hotels have a rule against a bunch of kids (oldest 13) staying in a hotel overnight? Because lets face it, a parent who isn't a very party person, well, annoying. Then I need games. Pin the tail on the donkey is lame. The ages are 11-13, no talking about boys. So, no clue what to do! My best friend doesn't really like music, but if I get a new taylor swift CD I really won't care. She'll be okay with it as long as we play some weird al. I'm 16 and my best friend Jessica is 15. We've known each other for about 5 years now. Imagine her as a British, Kingdom Hearts fanatic, blonde, blue eyes, average size girl. If you wanna know how we met, read this: 5 years ago, she was living in England. Cause of the ridiculous rape crimes that happened in her neighborhood, her family had to move out of there and move in my neighborhood in Staten Island, NY.While they were unloading their things into their new home, me and my parents went over to greet them. (My sister was busy watching tv like she is today and my little brother was sleeping) We helped them with the unloading and that's when I said Jessica. She was absolutely cute, but she never seem interested in being friends with me. By the time we got to middle school, things changed. It was her first day of middle school and already she is getting teased on by her fellow classmates. The guys said how our school is not a Catholic school since she was wearing a uniform (and I found it to be very hot) and the girls saying guys will never do a girl with big boobs (Her's would be like the size of Jessica Simpson's) Back then, almost all the girls' chests were flat and she was the only few who has it big. Maybe they were jealous. So they continued to tease around until I stepped in and did something. I discussed it with the assistant principal about it. (he's my dad's friend) And the next day, he suspended the selected who teased at her. I told Jess how I got those awful kids out of the school for awhile. She was so happy in tears that she hugged me and said if we can be best friends forever. I said sure and that's how we became just that. As the years went by, we hang out a lot, play a lot of video games on my PS3 (even though I literally let her win) and even chat on Facebook a lot. :) So here's the problem: A couple days ago before I start asking it here at Yahoo! Answers, my best friend was invited to a birthday party with all her other friends. She was so excited, but also scared. She had never been to anyone's birthday party before and she was worried about all the strangers she doesn't know, so she asked me if I have time to come with her to her friend's birthday party. I said yes cause I pretty much had nothing else to do. So when it was her friend's birthday, we were at her house. Her friend opened the door and sure enough, her house was full of girls. I felt very uncomfortable about being around a bunch of them (some of them happened to be very, very hot) and not a single guy but me, so I told Jess that I was leaving. She cried out to me not to go and she hugged me by the arm. I felt really bad about leaving her alone, so I took the risk and stayed with her throughout the party. It was exciting and fun until we played truth or dare. I happened to think that truth or dare were for kids, but since everyone was playing, I'd go in a play with them. It was the birthday girl's turn and she told Jessica "Truth or dare". Jessica said dare and the birthday girl and the two girls next to her started whispering to each other. When they were done, she said, " I triple dog dare you to kiss your best friend. Lip TO lip". Everyone was giggling and oood, but I gasped. Jess' face was all red and her bangs was covering her eyes. I bet she frighten to do it, but it was a triple dog dare. She started crawling up to me very slowly in a sexy way, I guess. By the time she was close enough to me, she said,"Please forgive me for this". Jess wrapped her arms around my neck, looked me in the eyes as if she was trying to tell me that we were made for each other, and then kissed me. It wasn't a lip to lip kiss, it felt more like tongue kissing. I was surprised, but it felt so right to kiss her. It lasted for a couple of seconds and everyone around us were going awww. After the birthday party ended, we went walking home together. We still continue to see each other, sit each other on the bus to school, but we never seem talk or look at each other now. But worse, it became the hot topic at school. I want to tell her how I feel and that I want it more than a friendship, but I'm not that kind of guy that throws himself and just say it to a girl. I was at a relative's kid's party recently, and after one of the party games, all the kids were given a little bag of sweets - and I mean a LITTLE bag. It was one of those kiddy-sized bags of chocolate buttons with only a few grams of actual chocolate in it. Most of the kids just sat around having theirs, but there was this one mother who shrilly insisted that her five year-old daughter go and offer her bag around to everyone, adults included. It was a birthday party, and there were at least 15 kids and parents to match, so you do the math... This poor little girl! I could see the pain on her face when she said 'OK, Mummy', turned around and saw how many people there were. She dutifully went around, holding out the bag. Most of the adults were too nice to take anything, but the kids were more than happy to grab one of hers as well as their own. Her mother even pointed out a kid she'd missed at the end, who'd come in from the kitchen while she'd been sharing with everyone else. When she got back to her mother, I think she had one sweet left if she was lucky. I commented on this whole thing to my relative later, who agreed that it was such a shame for the kid, but she said the mother was always like that, wanting to show off. Do you think it was mean of the mother to use her daughter to show off? Nobody else offered anything to that little girl, they just took from her. Resolved Question: 1st Birthday Party & I might be crazy! =)?

I have a 3 yr old son so I know already that the 1st birthday party is pretty much for pictures (memories) & for everyone else to enjoy! But I have a little princess now and would LOVE to do a Princess themed birthday party for her 1st birthday. Do you think it's crazy? We have 2 other girls that would come (7&5) and my son will be 4 and another little boy (3) and then we have 2 little boys that are a few months younger than my daughter. Voting Question: Club themed Sweet 17 party ideas?

So I finally discovered a theme for my sweet 17! Now I just need activities for the party and music ideas. I have most of the music done, cause I figured I would get it out of the way but if good songs come out, or I get song ideas I will add them. In case you didn't read my other question, I didn't have a sweet 16 because my birthday is 2 weeks after school starts and I transferred schools this year so I didn't know anybody. But now that I know everybody at my school and have a lot of friends I want to have a party! I'll be turning 21 in a couple of months and am trying to decide what to do for a party. I've never really had any big birthday parties, but would like something somewhat big, so I can see all my high school friends again as well as my college friends. Alright I just want to know what's wrong with you baby crazed women and wanting your babies to do EVERYTHING that you know it can't? Seriously, i remember when I was like 8 at my mom's freind's kid's birthday party. and there was this lady wanting her baby to take a swing at the pinyata and stuff and she was holding the baby up to it, seriously A BABY. it coulden't even hold the broomstick, it just kept droping it, after 4 more trys at trying to get the baby to swing at the pinyata she gave up. then we were playing all these party games and all that other stuff and she kept including the baby that had no idea what was going on or anything, from what i remember it coulden't have been no older than 1 month old. My whole life I've pretty much spent in my room playing video games, watching tv shows movies and reading comics. I just realized recently that when it's summer and I'm not at school all I do is stay in my room. I don't hang out with my friends (except my girlfriend) and I enjoy it. Sometimes I think that I would enjoy not having any friends at all. Like I'm always thinking to myself about how I would love to just be a bird and fly everywhere or be a mermaid and explore the ocean. It's weird cause no body else that I know is like this. Yesterday one of my friends told me that I can't keep my life like this and I don't understand why. I don't really understand why a lot of people say that I can't just stay in my room. People may think that I'm depressed but honestly I'm not. I barely ever get sad...even though I do worry a lot about things. I grew up with my ex best friend and she is the complete opposite of me. She's loud and annoying and she has depression really bad. She's on 150mg of prozac. Well I'm quiet and I don't have depression but yet people say that she is normal and I'm not. We grew up together and even though I hate her guts (she tried to steal my girlfriend and didn't even think she did anything wrong) I don't understand how she says that because I'm not realistic that I'm not really living life. Is it weird that I'm not realistic? I know I live in this fantasy world in my head and that I shield myself from pain as much as I can but is that weird? I've always known that I'm different and that in my head is a big mysterious place but it's warm and comforting and I love it. I love sitting in my room and watching Charmed or Buffy and just forget everything and go on this big adventure. I don't understand why kids think that I'm weird when I watch all the tv shows to get away but they go out and do drugs and get drunk to shield the pain. I know that I'm more mature then them because I would never do any of that stuff but I feel different because I don't do any of that stuff. And when it comes to my birthday everyone tells me that I should have a big party but I don't want to and they call me strange. I do celebrate my birthday in my head. I think that birthdays are very special and that you should celebrate them every year because you never know if this years birthday will be your last. My wife and I have been pretty distant for about 8 years now. We were really close just before I started my job at a video game retailer but over the years of me working 60+ hours at the video game retailer, we both grew apart. She started having her hobbies/friends and I worked my azz off to keep the house and the kids healthy. I lost my job 3 months ago. My wife rose to the challenge and she's going to support the family while I'm getting a college education (I let her go first because she had time to). Now before any of you say this "isn't right", this is a reality for me and we're both ok with it. Well I'm getting fed up of getting "a taste of my own medicine"... When my wife comes home from work, she'll do everything in the world that doesn't involve me until it's time for bed (and even then she won't help me put the kids to bed)... I understand that she's probably doing it as a learned behavior of what's acceptable for the role of "bread winner" but like I said, I was working 60+ hours a week, she's working 40 or less and it's accounting (she's on her azz all day), I don't think the two jobs can be compared... See, when she took on the role, she never told her friends that she had to see them less or get rid of a few hobbies. Now she's using the time that should be spending with me and the family to be on Facebook with her girlfriends and go out with them to the movies. I'm all for her doing that once and a while because sometimes it's just nice to get out of the house, but she's doing it every day... What really broke the camel's back was this weekend is my son's birthday party. It's a lot of work to get the house and the garage ready for this and she's not offering me a hand even after I asked for it. Yes, I didn't help much with getting ready for birthday parties but I *DID* do whatever she asked me to do when she said she felt overwhelmed and needed help (like I did). Hell, to pay attention to me once in a while would be great too because I'll open up a good 2 hours of my day to spend with her and I'll get 10 minutes tops before she gets on Facebook and gossips with her girlfriends and plays video games... So here's the proposal that I want to offer to my wife since I'm having such a huge issue with her "life style". I want to be more of a "family". There shouldn't be a day that the 4 of us (us and two kids) aren't spending some quality time together. It's not MY fault that she had a screwed up childhood and it's not MY fault that mine was abusive and shittie too but the only thing we can do is bring the family together and do healthy things together... Okay , so I'm a 13 year old girl & I have 2 other siblings : Both brothers , one who's 12 , and the other is 15. I swear my mom treats them better. So like we each have to take turns washing the dishes each week , so like my brothers do a horrible job at it and like hardly wash them when its there turn. so like the sink fills with dirty plates , but my mom just decides to wash it for them ! but when it's my turn , if she sees ANY dishes in the sink at all , then no matter what i'm doing , she yell at me to come downstairs and wash the plates ! Or like this one time for my older brother birthday , she gave him 200 dollars , but when all I wanted to do was buy my own digital camera , she had a huge problem with it saying that I was wasting my money. So.. some information: She's turning forty and having a huge party/bonfire thing. She's asked me to design a tattoo for her before that has something to do with running or has flowers or something--if you think i could make this a present, any ideas for what i could draw? I'm good at drawing, sewing, editing pictures, making videos, any kind of craft or computer-related thing. She loves running. Her birthday is in a little over a month.
