I know we all have them. I have a few of my own that I would never put a kid through (like Lyric and Kenzie) but I was just wondering if i'm the only one with the weirdest names and everyone elses are quite normal? I was looking at some of the celebrities baby names and I've come up with some interesting things. Like Cate Blanchett: Dashiell John, Roman Robert and Ignatius Martin. The only one I really love here is Dashiell (like Dash as a nickname). Or even Victoria and David Beckham's sons: Romeo, Brooklyn and Cruz. I love Cruz but I would never even think of naming my son Brooklyn. Another crazy example is Nicole Richie and her daughter, Harlow (which I love) but her son, Sparrow. Sparrow?? Okay, so my 14 year old sister has been complaining for weeks about her eye color, and i think it's just weird. My Dad has a Medium Brown eye color, and my Mom has a unique Green-Gray color. Anyway, My sister has the same Brown eyes as my dad, while I have light Blue Eyes, and so does my brother. I think it skipped a generation or something, my Grandparents on my Dads side both had blue eys, and all of their children had Blue Eyes except him, where he had Brown Eyes, haha. Anyway, my sister hates her eyecolor as she has light Blonde Hair and wants the 'Blonde Hair, Blue Eyes' look, which is too common in my opinon. Just to add, I have Light Brown hair and my brother has Dark Blonde. I decided to do some research, and I found celebrities like Britney Spears and Paris Hilton have Blonde Hair and Brown Eyes, like her. But boy, was I wrong to do that! That's when she discovered that sometimes Britney uses Blue Contact Lenses and Paris usually wears Light Blue Contacts! Resolved Question: Why do people feel the need to judge teen mothers?

I'm 18 and I have a 2-year-old daughter, Roxy. I get sick of being criticized for having a baby as a teen. Now did I make a mistake? Yes, my mistake was having sex (I refuse to call my baby a mistake!) and I'll admit I should have waited. But I can't reverse time and the fact of the matter is that Roxy is here. The only person helping me raise my daughter is my boyfriend (unless daycare counts). No family at all and we are not on welfare, WIC or anything else of that sort. There are adults out there who have children and don't take care of them (Britney Spears, for example), yet I get judged simply because I had a child as a teen. My boyfriend and I are both working and in college, so we can support Roxy. I don't think anyone has the right to judge a mother based on the age she had her kids. How about judging her based on whether or not she take cares of her kids?Thanks for all your answers, especially yours, Drag. My mother (the grandmother of the baby) would like to take on temporary guardianship in hopes that my sister will come to her sense and become a decent mom later. Right now she is never home, only runs around cheating on her husband who is away in military training. She is staying with my mother and having her take care of HER baby. My mother is only keeping it up because if she doesn't take care of her granddaughter, the baby's mother will just drop her off on a stranger so she can go fool around. Once she finds a new guy to move in with the baby will never be taken care of. We're trying to prevent this. She cannot be proved unfit by alcohol or drugs, she has no felonies, the baby has no signs of abuse because my mother is caring for her. My sister is getting a divorce soon (she just got married 2 months ago), has no education and does not care to get her GED. She won't work for it. She refuses to sign HER baby over to someone else, but she won't take care of her. How do we prove her unfit and give custody to the grandmother? Is there a way to MAKE her sign her over? I recently fried my hair getting an old fashioned perm my mom suggested would look great on me. What do 50 year old ladies know about modern young adult fashion? Now my hair is like straw, broken and brittle with plenty of little baby hairs that have broken off. Not only that but the perm didn't take. Instead of making curls I have old fashioned Portuguese waterdog waves. My first thought was to try to straighten my hair with a straightening iron. But after three hours a day trying to straighten my very thick hair with one (and it still didn't go completely straight) I gave up on that. My next thought was a Japanese straightening perm as I thought they were less damaging than other perms. Wrong. Straightening perms are relaxers and can be even more damaging on your hair than a regular perm. Since my hair is already damaged I figured this would be a bad idea and didn't do it. My next thought was a wig, not a synthetic plastic Britney Spears/Carol Channing wig, but a wig that is realistic a HUMAN HAIR WIG. So I think I am going to do that. I know some people think wigs are weird but if you get a realistic one made of human hair I think they are fine. Nicole Kidman actually wears a wig to get that straight blonde look (her natural hair is curly and red) Ben Affleck wears toupes to hide a receding hairline and though Matthew McConaughy was voted "Best hair" by people magazine, I saw a picture of him without his toupe and it was not pretty. Dolly Parton also never leaves home without her wig and Jessica Simpson occasionally wears one to get those mindblowing, bouncy curls. I guess I'm a gutsy girl. If my wig ever fell off I'd probably just laugh really hard and tell everyone I had an exotic disease like trichomoniasis or whatever. Wigs are a great way to change your hairstyle frequently without damaging it with chemicals. And hell, a wig has got to be better than the broken straw I have left.
