Here are my memories of the '90s: 1) The old computers with the green screen. When you make a mistake or press a key they made that loud noise that would give you a heart attack. The sound went like this brrrm. 2) 1996 Nintendo 64 comes out with full force with huge titles. For some reason the stores came out with crates of the N64 Systems. Those systems were never sold out. But today when a system comes out it is always sold out forever. I played Super Mario 64, Paper Mario 64, Glover, Gecko Gex, Super Smash Bros., Bomberman 64, Bust-A-Move, Mario Kart 64, Banjo-Kazooie, Banjo-Tooie, Pilot Wings, 007 Golden Eye, Mario Party, Mario Party 2, Mario Party 3, Cruis'n USA, San Francisco Rush Extreme Racing, San Francisco Rush 2049, Rampage, Rampage 2, Pokemon Snap, and many more. My favorite was Mario Kart because of the funny noises they make. The first game that I played was Super Mario 64 at Blockbuster Video. 3) One dollar toy dispensers come out. You know the ones with three or six compartments. The yellow pastic ones that they have in stores right at the door. 4) For TV it was Nickoloden, Nick Toons, Nick Jr., Disney's One Saturday Morning (Five hours of summer, ONE SATURDAY MORNING!!), UPN, ABC, WWF, WWF in your house, Celebrity Deathmatch, another clay animation with two guys, Taco Bell Chihuaha, South Park, McDonald's commercials. My favorite was Celebrity Deathmatch. 5) For movies it was Pokemon The Movie, Good Burger haha (I'm a dude, she's a dude, he's a dude, hey y'all), Snow Day (SNOOOOWWWWWWWW), Jungle 2 Jungle, Jumanji, The Lion King, Arthur's Perfect Christmas, Rugrats, Toy Story. 6) For music it was Foo Fighters, Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, N'sync, Nirvana. 7) The only toys I can think of are the Tech Deck skateboards and dudes and Pokemon. 8) The Wonderball is all I can think for food. 9) For travel went to Disney World in 1995, Universal Studios, Chuck E. From 2009-2010, they both went on tour all around the world. True. Britney Spears, The Circus Starring Britney Spears, gross revenue was $96,213,121 with this economy. Meanwhile, Beyonce's, I Am... Tour gross revenue was $75,748,301. They both did fairly well. However, I am not talking grammys etc. It just seems that fans prefer Britney over Beyonce. That is my personal opinion. PS. If you haven't heard, Beyonce had to, forced to, lower her budget to fill the Staples Center. Poor. On the other hand, Britney Spears had to problem doing just that. Packed in seconds. my sister married japanese. she let me listen to the western songs that sale in japan .I kind of curious why I can not buy those songs in usa or europe and have never heard of those singers and can't download them from the torrent?.... the singers of those songs are western people and they sing in english language.... but the style of musics are strange and I have never heard it anywhere except in japan. their pop songs sound beautiful and its not like a junk pop like britney spears or kathy perry. they have got a violin or a whimsical sounds like what we hear in a game, movie's soundtrack or the animate etc. I also like the voice of singers very much. they don't make a trashy voice like britney spears, lady gaga or the owl city etc.....most of those singers have got an unbelievable soft sweet voice. if you didn't see their face you would imagine that the singers may look like a doll.satty : enable your email...I will write something to you about japanese musics. more

Resolved Question: What happened to Keri Hilson's singing career?

I thought she was going to be the next big thing in 2008 when I first heard her single "Energy" but then after a while she didn't have that much success and attention as she should. It seems like people only like her hairstyle more than her music. I think she made a fashion statement to the public but her music doesn't seem to do that well on the pop charts. Her only successful song that got really big was "Knock you down" but now it's you don't see or hear about her anywhere. Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift are like taking over everthing and making it hard to step up the game for other artists. It's sad cuz I thought Keri Hilson would be bigger than Rihanna. Resolved Question: Should music be rated?

Apologies if you think this is in the wrong section, however... There are ratings for movies, ratings for games and there is censorship for music however - should there be ratings also? The reason why I ask this is because I am disgusted by certain music which certain radio stations and tv programs play where anyone and everyone has access to them, sometimes without their choosing to do so. I appreciate that there have always been radicals and frontiers in music though I find a lot of what some celebrity singers do: Lady Gaga or Britney Spears in particular highly inappropriate and damaging for some ages. Britney's iF.U.C.K. Me like songs and Lady Gaga seducing a corpse videos - who wants their 6 year old daughter experiencing that? And to those shooting their mouths off with "well you shouldn't let your kid experience that in the first place" sometimes you have no choice if they are playing it on commercial radio when you step into a chemist or when your sitting down at a cafeteria and video clips come up on the television screen. I believe music shouldn't just be classified, it should be rated and treated as stringently as video games. So, I go to two different schools. In the morning i go to my regular home school, and in the afternoon i go to this "Collage" school called Evit that helps you get a carree after you finish. At my Home School, I don't feel that inscure about myself mainly because everyone kind act's the way I do there, but at my other school in my class i feel alittle inscure because, I feel like i am an outcast and they may think im a bitch or something.
