Resolved Question: Do you think posing nude, or posing in a bikini/lingerie is shameful behavior?

like i've seen different views- some compare selling your body for magazine covers and for calendars shameful activities- but like what is so wrong with someone being nude- it is like when people see someone nude they become so aroused- lose insight of their own husband or wife- and all of a sudden come across finding their spouse less attractive based on seeing a nude, bikini, or lingerie image- in our world today employers often times hold photos like this against a person in the interview process- especially in politics- heaven forbid barack obama was pictured nude- lol- how people would react- but overall- how is this shameful behavior- is it shameful for selling it or is it shameful for letting people view your body if you aren't married- like really- i don't get it- vanessa williams loses her crown- vanessa hudgens has to say sorry in order to be apart of disney- then audrina has to say sorry in order to be a role model- but she poses for maxim magazine- i understand our bodies are sacred and we should share it with who we like but- i just don't see it as shameful as someone selling drugs, getting high, etc- i don't think nudity is pornography- also i am wondering why a lot of people freak out- about it- i saw some pictures of serena williams and alicia silverstone nude for some charity event- i think doing it for charity is different than for doing it for like playboy or say hustler- i think if someone is going to sell someone's nude photos the person should get a cut out of it- like some kind of money or something- the women of today- britney spears- beyonce- shakira- rihanna- etc all have sold records not just on their talent but also off of their bodies! i know with my family and such- posing nude would definitely get me in a heat of trouble- lol- well i think parents wise- the men in my family i wouldn't want them to see it- lol- so i don't know how i feel about it- even in a bikini posing is often seen as risque- lol- even in lingerie- it is like once you do any of this modeling it is shame on you- you were my role model- now everybody has seen your body- lol- but i don't think it is super shameful- i am mixed on the topic. like it is great to hear someone say you look hot and you have a great physique- but often times it is like that's who you become- the pretty girl and the pretty figure- lol- you know it clouds others views- of you- our society is really obsessed with nudity.haha- older generation people don't like it either- but yeah i notice that is true- more

Even a long shot 12 years ago in her Spice Girl prime. 3) Scarlett Johanson -Yeah....she'd make it. 4) Halle Berry - Absolutely. This absolutely enraged me when I heard about this. I read that Britney Spears was crying when she heard that she was on the list. Some guys complain about how girls worry about their looks, but what do you expect when a men's magazine is using harsh words to describe how some famous women look? How would the authors of maxim feel if a woman's magazine made a "Guys with the smallest penises" list and put their names on it? What do you guys think? Would you take that lightly or do you think it's a sick thing for Maxim to do?I don't mind the "sexiest" lists either, but their unsexiest list was downright mean and cruel, as you said. I'm starting to wonder what the men who came up with that list look like lol.I'm not talking about sexism..just the fact that it was a pretty dumb move. If Cosmo came up with an "unsexiest men alive" list, I would be pretty pissed too.At cubsmass, Different things hurt different people. I don't think you're in a position to judge who is weak and who's not. There are a lot of men who would get upset at their girlfriend saying they sucked in bed or if a girl turns them down for casual sex. They might not show it, but deep down inside, they're hurt. I would never tell them to their face or publicly advertise, "I think this guy is ugly and he sucks!" I would never say that, because that it's a cruel thing to say to somebody. I would never tell them "Just take it," because that's a classic tactic that verbal abusers use. Just because the women in your family are "tough as nails" in your eyes doesn't mean they're 100% tough in all aspects. For all you know, maybe they're too scared to show you their weak points because you will judge them for it. There are women who put a major emphasis on appearance, but they have been also strong enough to survive horrendous abuse while growing up. more
