I seem to see so much on Etalk daily and such, and why should it be our business on the status of Britney Spears spelldown or what is going on with Justin Timberlake? I understand however in some stuff like enjoying the music that one may make or trying to learn from how Peyton Manning plays his game if you are took look to be a quarterback in football, for that quite frankly is smart. But do we need to know what Faith Hill and Tim McGraw's personal life is all about? I mean their music is great, but why do so many people attach themselves to other peoples personals lives? more

Open Question: Why is the mass media not stating truth on the Mayan Calendar?

First off, the only thing I have seen the mass media talk about the Mayan calendar is a very disturbing video on the history channel with their 2012 end of the world video. This is a problem for me, for they are lying and scaring people that this will be the end of the world, and quite frankly it will not be. The Mayan Calendar DOES NOT SAY that this is the end of the world and we are all going to die. If you believe that, well unless you have some great research to prove me wrong, I would love to hear it but with my much research on this calendar it is not a doomsday event. It would be nice if the mass media would talk about how the Mayan Calendar talks about consciousness and how it affects our human thinking and way of doing things. Also, it would be nice if they talked about how they measure time as it is a lot more accurate than the Gregorian calendar (and yet we follow this calendar? The only thing this calendar does is track how the earth rotates with the sun). It would be nice if the media would come clean with the truth so they can help those out whom are looking to know the truth. What is more important to people? Is it more important for us to know what Britney Spears is doing during her troubles in life or what kind of suit that Justin Timberlake is wearing and heaven forbid will Peyton Manning throw three touchdowns this weekend for the Colts? It seems to me that the mass media wants to ignore this shift in consciousness when in reality this is a shift of change and love. I wish they would find it in their hearts to love themselves so they could love others enough to come clean with truth. Now in reality, they have a lot of truth to come clean about, but when will the governments whom are behind this mass media going to tell us the truth about 2012? Will it be too late for many when they do or do they want us to suffer and then laugh at us when the lower and middle class die off in the sunset because they played their evil games? yes i said it! i said what would life be like without the infamous Disney joying up our lives and giving millions of children around the world big happy smiles on their faces. Would life be that much more crappy than it already is? would life as we know it come crashing down in an instant and the earth imploding on itself like a popping balloon? OK maybe not but think about it. since Disney was founded in 1923 by Walt Disney himself with his brother Roy Disney they've brought possibly billions of children including ourselves the joy and wonder of imagination. but what if Disney never existed or at least failed miserably before it even became popular there would be no Disney channel on TV. no mickey or Minnie mouse and there certainly no Walt Disney World or Land. Britney spears would of never been in the mickey mouse club with Justin Timberlake and other very well known celebrities that we know and love today and they probably would of never been discovered so there wouldn't be any crazy shaving head Britney starving for attention. and Miley Cyrus would just be known as Billy Ray's 16 year old daughter. so in conclusion would we be better off without Mickey's head showing up at almost every corner of the globe or would things be a lot less interesting without the happiest place on earth. my vote... we cant live without a little Disney in our lives more

I can't bring myself to dislike the girl as I would with any other pop princess so to speak or Paris Hilton type. It was about 2000 when I got out my pop phase, but Britney Spears, same with Justin Timberlake, I still like them(I actually didn't like Britney then). I personally am not a fan(more indifferent then dislike) of today's pop/Disney people.
