How comes when a singer from USA makes it big in every country it's like whatever but when it's an artist from UK it's a big deal? for example Leona Lewis, everyone goes over the top that she's made it in other countries apart from UK. Resolved Question: Why are there not many asian americans in the music and showbiz?

What are the real obstacles for asians in american music and show biz? I can think of some...but which ones are true? 1. Asians aren't very good looking in general to most americans. 2. Producers, casting directors, music executives don't want to give asians a chance because they don't want them to invade american culture (white or black). They don't give asians a chance cuz theyre afraid they might take over? 3. Asians don't put too much time in music or even dream of becoming performers in general...they wanna be rich? 4. I have just watched his documentary movie, this is it. Well, even at his 50s , he was inspiring and way better than pop stars such as britney spears, madonna, justin timberlake. He is one of a few musicians whose songs never get you bored. His voice and the way he sing is unique and cannot be imitated. I really enjoyed alot listen to his musics and watching his performs again and i bought his collection album as soon as i left movie theater. To be honest, i like him alot, i am not a crazy fan but i believe he was the best musician & entertainer ever and nobody is gonna fill his shoes ever. Nobody was sining , entertaining and giving joy more than him.
