Hi, in most games puzzle books you get these puzzles, they are like crosswords but instead of answering questions you have a list of numbers at the bottom in groups(2numbers, 3 numbers, 4 numbers, etc) and you have to find the correct place for each number in the grid,. Resolved Question: Why doesn't Java Standard edition 6 work?

I try to play daily crosswords that require the java propgram and it even had a link to download it. I did but the crossword grid still doesn't open like it should. I tried to find the problem and cannot. I thought maybe it needs to be turned on or some setting is checked wrong. I see nothing. Someone know what the prob is? The down, left & right arrows work okay... It is just my up arrow that shuts down my computer to stand by mode... example..doing a crossword puzzle... push the up arrow to go up a line in the grid & it shuts down my computer to stand by...How do I fix this problem??? I did a keyboard interactive test & the up arrow key failed, the code number was 0811--201...results thing didn't tell me how to fix it.. can someone help me please... I'm trying to make some (or at least one) as an activity for kids -- but not too easy -- and everything I come up with is very sparse. I've even tried some software but with each one I try, I have to enter an endless batch of words and then it comes up with the same kind of large but sparsely used grid. Is there a method or technique -- or even software, if it is cheap -- that can help me make a GOOD puzzle? more
