I know that ridiculous. It sounds stupid to type it. However, For over a week now, I have had this crippling pain in my right thumb. It hurts to try and make a fist, covering my thumb with the fist. There's an ever-present low throbbing in the basal joint. Specifically and mostly concentrated in the part of the joint that is in the skin between your thumb and pointer finger. Both sides of the joint are equally sore really. I say it's crippling pain because when I'm in the shower, and try and dispense my conditioner, I usually use the outer knuckle of my thumb when I grab the bottle. When I try and do that, I almost immediately drop the bottle because it hurts...anyways. I was looking up stuff about this pain and found this article: http://www.thumbjointpain.org/ I use my Blackberry often and have been playing a crossword puzzle on it as well. Do you think it's possible to sue the company for the pain? I had no idea that a freaking phone could cause this...Has anyone heard of any lawsuits regarding this? Should I just suck it up and deal? Please no rude answers or I'll report you. Thank you!Ok, so it is kind of dumb to sue. I wouldn't actually do that. Just wondering if anyone has thought of like a class action suit or something involving all of the sufferers because apparently this is more common than one would think. I just think that maybe like telling its users that alot of texting or emailing could result in joint pain or arthritis would be nice. To the first answerer - yes, I reported you. You're not allowed to insult other members. :) It is possible to tell me you disagree with me without putting me down...just see a few of the other answers. I'm sure they laughed, but they didn't resort to name calling. moreResolved Question: Need help on a Biology Crossword Puzzle Please :)?

Around Christmas last year (after I'd recently lost my job) I had an issue with an online site where I had bought some Christmas presents. This place ended up charging me well over $80 in shipping when everyone I'd talked to and even the site said that shipping would be only $5 a package (I only purchased 4 items!). This overcharged my account leaving me in the negative around $90+. I was able to get the bank to wave some fees since this was obviously NOT my fault. 1 year later, I finally am able to get a job and pay back the bank. But I find out in order to re-establish an account I have to pay for every deposit I make (never had to do that before), AND I have to finnish a bunch of tests and crossword puzzles before I can withdraw! So, in a nutshell, Centra Credit Union wants me to pay them $2-$5 each time I make a deposit of any kind, plus I can't touch $25 of MY money until I finish some crossword puzzles and some stupid banking games! My question? CAN THEY LEGALLY DO THAT? Charge me money to deposit and keep my money from me without any REAL reason? I realize I'm not exacltly in GOOD stading with them, but I'm an adult! I dont have the time for childish quizes and stupid games. And I just dont think I should have to! Anyway, can they do that? ANY of that? All answers and comments welcome. I wanna know what you think, and if YOU would ever put up with this crap. Thank you, Amanda moreResolved Question: Joketime! Have you heard these short, but funny?

A small group sits at the back table of Yidiot's Coffee House and Bait Shop. No one would guess they weren't just ordinary customers having an espresso and friendly conversation. The door opened and Shultzie, in full uniform as usual, goosestepped up to the bar, his saxophone inadvertently banging into Dondi's head. "Hey!" Dondi yelled, rubbing the newest saxophone-caused bump on the back of his head. Shultzie appologized profusely, as was his habit, took a seat and ordered a hyssop tea. Dondi thought to himself, "I don't know if I trust Shultzie anymore; maybe it's his peculiar accent." Debra was next to enter. She grinned, tipped her hat and hollared, "Yahoo! How's about a Mountain Dew for this here cowgirl?" Yidiot, hearing Debra, grabbed a can out of the cooler; he wanted to wait on her, say something clever so she might see him as more than a fr... His thought was interrupted by gas. Debra, unknowingly, had dodged a bullet. Back at Harpok Yaf Studios the writers were arguing over who would be the one to pick up lunch, who would be the one to tell Fay they'd seen Studman kissing Hiram and who would be the one to come up with a reasonably good idea for the show. They were blocked. If only some of the potato salad had been saved... If only. Stay tuned. I'll return after this lengthy commercial or sooner if I get some idea what's going to happen...today.Fay - (she's still giddy from Studman's kiss - there was something about it that left her weak-kneed and hor..never mind, it's a family show) We have a special treat today! We are having a BLUES theme! (french horn music from back stage) Our guests today will be Baby Blues Guy, Bluebell Got Spanked and Baby Blues Rocks! (a familiar giggle is heard from the audience; it is a giggle that sends chills throught mo...) We interrupt this program for a special message from the President (cough) of MSNBC...cough...about the Swine Flu)(the program returns with Fay mid-sentence) Fay - ...nd she didn't mind you putting it there? Baby Blues Guy - Not after she saw all the attention she got. People would drive by her house, beep their horns, call her at all hours day and night... Fay - Baby Blues Rocks, you weren't at all shy of the attention it got you? BBR _ Well, Fay, I really didn't want my poem published on the society page, but BBGuy insisted - and it turned out he was wiser than I thought. Heh heh. Fay - Bluebell, it's your turn at the plate, Dear. What would you like to say, Sweetie? Bluebell - Uh, that guy playing the horn, Fay? Fay - That's our darling Shultzie, Bluebell! Bluebell - Whatevah; the *&%$$## stole all the Twinkies outta the Green Room then hit some guy in the back of the head with his saxophone! (from back stage) IT'S A FRENCH HORN!Back at Yidiot's Coffee House & Bait Shop, the group at the back table had finished their plans. The blonde checked her watch and said, "We'd better hurry; the show is ending about now - and Sandy is waiting for us." The man at a nearby table, the one reading a newspaper, waited until they left and then retrieved a small microphone from the centerpiece of the newly vacated table. "This is why I get paid the big bucks," Sparky smiled to himself. moreResolved Question: Can anyone help me with these art terms?

I'm working on a flashback, and I need to know if it is good?
“Mommy! Wait for me!” I shouted and she looked back at me, the calming smile spread across her face as always. I dragged the light bag to her from the doorway, watching her pick it up and tuck it into the trunk. “Your so strong mommy!” She patted me on the shoulder and squatted down to my level so we could see eye-to-eye. “No, you’re the strong one! That bag would have never made it to our car if you didn’t bring it in from the house.” I smiled proudly. She took my hand in hers and helped me up to the backseat of the car. Buckling up tightly and making sure the belt wasn’t to tight or to loose I smiled, giving her a thumbs up and she closed the door. After about three seconds I saw the front door of the passenger side open u, and she sat down in her seat closing the door. I watched her buckle up and check the belt to make sure it fit snuggly and I heard daddy start the car. The roar of the engine signaled that we were backing out of the driveway, and mommy turned on the radio. Joining in together we all sang the song that played. Oh, how naive I was then… “Passport?” She nodded. “Money?” She nodded again. “Luggage?” She nodded once more and daddy hugged her. Kissing her he backed away so I could hug her, and I did. “Mommy will be back in about a week, so be good for daddy, okay?” I smiled and nodded. “I’ll always be good for daddy!” She laughed and dad ruffled my hair. “Lets hope she still says that when she’s fifteen!” dad joked, hugging mom once again. “Be safe, honey.” She nodded and answered with a simple ‘I will.’ That was the last time I saw her, six years ago. The next day my dad and I looked in the paper to do the crossword puzzle on the back, but the front page caught our eyes. “Plane flying from Seattle to Chicago crashed. Thirteen died.” I can still see the look of terror and anguish on his face as he read the list of names in the newspaper. That was the day mom’s life ended, and his hate for planes began. A large majority of it is in italics, but you can't show it on here, so the breaks inbetween paragraphs represent what is bolded and what isn't. It kind of goes: Italic Regular Italic Regular Regular being what isn't a flashback, and what italic being what is a flashback. moreResolved Question: Anyone good at crossword puzzels and Psychology..?
