now i need some real good answers-10 points! first how do i declutter with out having all my stuff out and then being to lazy to put it back and having to stuff it in my wardrobe, and then how do i keep it tidy when i'm tired and just can't be bothered to hang my clothes up or put things away, i have quite a small room and i start school in a couple days- (going into year 9) and i want to be organised and stuff so that i don't have the same i lost/ forgot/dog at my homework excuses even though they are usually true (well not the dog part) as i'm soooo untidy, i'm not as bad as some people but i do need some tips on how to get my room organised and keep it that way! any help would be appreciated. thanks.x more

Next weekend i will be having my partners brother and his new girlfriend overnight. If it is good weather we will have a bbq and if not i will cook something.... I wanted any hostess tips, fininshing touches, things that make everything a little more special, they will be having our room so i will declutter it and have the best bedding etc.... I want to make a good impression without looking too tryhard / pretentious and without spending too much. If i cook i was thinking of comething like french style roast chicken (with olive oil lemon garlic and fresh herbs de provence), with creamed potatoes and fresh veg/ salad. Homemade dark chocolate mousse for dessert...(?) Any tips ?? Thanks guys. xoxo more

I keep everything mostly for sentimental value. my possessions bring back such fond memories and that makes it hard for me to part with them...whatever it may be, even clothes, even my daughter's stuff, teddies, cute little baby socks etc. I can't keep everything! I really need to start letting go. I have to move to a smaller house so it won't be practical to take everything with me. Over the last few weeks i have managed to give some clothes to the Charity shops, but i notice it is easier to part with newer things rather than older ones. So the charity shops get my new clothes and i keep the old ones ~ for sentimental reasons. Is anyone else like this? How can i let go without too much pain? Thanks x more

What I'm really asking is, do you have too much "stuff?" I am starting to declutter again today and find myself overwhelmed with stuff. Stuff. In fact, from when we moved into this suite from the last suite I have 2 boxes of undisplayed ornaments. I don't mind having little ornaments and trinkets on a few surfaces, such as the top shelf of my desk. But ornaments and "stuff" (there we go again) are overtaking the apt. My dining table is covered with stuff. The funny thing is, I am a very organized person. Things are genreally where they should be, but I am no match for stuff. For the longest time I have only brung into this house what is needed, what we use. What I need to do is get rid of stuff. Share your tips! Anything! What do you do about stuff? How much can I actually put into storage?I've been to flylady numerous times, I'd say she's good for the beginner, but I need something, almost more drastic lol. I think I can do this, I just need to be tough about things that can stay. I am gonna work on that this month. It's something that's been bothering me for a while. more

OUr home is older and doesnt have much storage or closet space, I am cleaning out closests, and trying to declutter, but I need some space saving storage tips! Thank you all in advance!I dont have a ton of clutter or stuff laying around, but toys I do! I donate everything I get rid of and have also used freecycle.org (It's awesome check it out!!!) I amso anal, I just want everything to have a place, and if it doesnt have a place, then I want it to get tossed, but my kids cant seem to even keep anything picked up!
