Open Question: Im taking a trip to Morocco, and have been doing reaserch about travelling around marrakesh ect... ?

I was wondering if going on a 7 day trip travelling around the different cities and villages of Morocco was a good idea with a company like essential Morocco 2009... http://www.travelmoodadventures.com/INTTM109p_Essential+Morocco+2009.html there take you on a trips around morocco, staying in 3star hotels in different places for a week, I was wondering if anybody had been on this trip? or a simlar one around Morocco? and what the ups and downs are, can anybody help? Am I best just booking my own flight and hotel for a week and doing are own thing?? for £130 cheaper?? or is this the best way to see everything? btw we are travling as a couple both aged 19, and im a photographer trying to build me portfolio for university, this plays a big part in the trip thank you, for your answers. do people think its the best way to see morocco?  more

so i'm planning a trip with my friend to go to morocco, and we're planning on going home from a flight to madrid. so we're taking a ferry from tanger to tarifa, and from tarifa we want to get to cordoba, stay there for a day, and then spend the rest of our time in madrid we were going to go to sevilla, but decided against it because we'd rather see cordoba since it looks so unbelievably beautiful (not that sevilla isn't, but just that sevilla's main draw seems to be flamenco, which we don't have money to see). best way to get there?? cheapest?? i know hitchhiking would be cheap/free. my friend and i are averagely street smart (but also young) city girls...we can, for the most part, take care of ourselves i think. would it be SUPER extremely dangerous for my friend and i to hitchhike from tarifa to cordoba or tarifa to cadiz or somewhere along that route?? thanks for your help!!  more

I've heard of flying standby, but I don't know anything about it, so any info would be appreciated. Is it possible to fly standby from Atlanta to Morocco? What days I go and return are unimportant, and I'd be willing to hang around the airport for hours if I could get a cheaper flight. The cheapeast I can find to Morocco is $950 roundtrip. *The flights connect in JFK, so should I purchase a regular flight to JFK, and then try to get a standby ticket once I'm there? Thanks  more

The cheapest i could ever find is $1564 on Orbitz for a round trip from june 3rd till august the 6th. Today i searched www.kayak.com and found a flight for $1275 from a website called www.airfare.com Anybody got a ticket from them before?? i am planning to back from New York to Europe in summer 2008. I heard about Eastjet and Ryanair. Is it really the price shown online? I always see 10 euro from Spain to UK from ryanair.com. Is there any surchange over those prices? I just have a backpack and,,maybe a handcarry.And, can I book the ticket with USA credit card? I will fly from NY to Amsterdam first. Hi. I will be traveling from Toronto to Marrakesh in Morocco from the 28th of May to the 19th of June of this year. I've been trying to find the best way to do this, both in price and travel time/transfers. I've looked into using Europe as a hub, but is there an US airport that's particularly cheap to fly through? It seems like using expedia or travelocity (or any of the other many travel booking sites) tends to work only so well, as individually booking flights from place to place can sometimes yield better results. I've also found that flying into Casablanca, and then taking a short train to Marrakesh, is less expensive than trying to book a flight directly there. I'd appreciate any advice with this. Right so the plan is I'm going on an odyssey around Europe and ultimately beyond for an indeterminate amount of time (budget roughly £10K) with a brainless companion. I'm from Jersey Channel Islands so the best and cheapest thing to do would be to catch a ferry to St Malo and then train down through France and I want to go roughly in a southernly direction to see Germany, Switzerland, Italy and then Greece. I'm debating the next step because myself and my buddy want to go to Morocco and/or Egypt so we thought we get a round the world ticket but catch a first flight from Southern Europe, ie Greece, and then continue onto Asia, Far East. etc What is the best and most enjoyable way of doing roughly what I have described?  more
