Last night I had this dream, anyway i know that its really long, but if you read it all once quickly you'll understand everything: - I was (in West London) with my grandmother, and it was 12:00 Noon. so my grandmother said that we were going to a little trip, so we got ready to go to heathrow airport. but then i remembered that in 2 hours (2:00 PM) my favorite show would start on TV. so I told her this, but she said that by then we would be back (so i could watch it). so we went to heathrow ; i dont remember where my grandmother went, but i remember going for a walk in some terminal with my suitcase. so after walking somewhere in heathrow airport for a bit, i realized that it was 1:30PM (my favorite show would start in half in hour). And then I looked at my ticket, and it said that the flight was at 11:30AM (I checked the date and it said the 9th of march, which was the correct date) so i had missed the flight before we decided to go to the airport! - the second part of the dream (it might have been in London, but im not sure) ; I was walking in some random street, and then i saw a small house which couldnt have had more than 1 bathroom & 1 bedroom. so I entered it and saw that it had one bathroom with a shower, and a hallway/small bedroom with a bath tube. Suddenly these strangers came in (they looked like good looking spanish people) but it was ok and they were probably friends/family or something. and i think an uncle of mine or something was with me so it was cool. so 2 of them started to have a shower in the bathtube, and i was on the edge of the bathtub and enjoying the water that sprayed on me. and then one of these people was a really hot guy and I thought he was cute (I am 16 and a guy, but im bisexual in real life). so he went by himself to have a shower (in the shower in the bathroom, not the tub in the hallway/bedroom) and I wished to see him naked. so after a while he came out with his towel, and then his penis was erect and i thought it was really hot (i actually saw it, it was sticking out of the towel)... and after a while i remember my mom grabbing my math notebook (for school i think) and checking if there was anything rude in it (or something). -the third part: i was in my real house in Haifa, Israel (I live in haifa now and im 16 & as i said im a guy, but im going to university in london in a couple of years. but i go to london every year to visit my grandmother). so anyway from my house here i saw my sister outside the window with her suitcases (we live in a building, and we're in the 2nd floor) , (my sister is in university in newcastle, and she sometimes comes back for a few weeks for chirstmas/easter), so i started to go down with the stairs so i could go down and help her bring her suitcases up.................and then I woke up. I know that its long, but pleasse tell me what it all means? moreResolved Question: How far ahead should I book my flight?

Here is the Bible Passage: Judges 1:1-36 1 And after the death of Joshua it came about that the sons of Israel proceeded to inquire of Jehovah, saying: “Who of us will go up first to the Ca´naan·ites to fight against them?” 2 To this Jehovah said: “Judah will go up. Look! I shall certainly give the land into his hand.” 3 Then Judah said to Sim´e·on his brother: “Come up with me into my lot and let us fight against the Ca´naan·ites, and I myself in turn will go with you into your lot.” Accordingly Sim´e·on went with him. 4 With that Judah went on up and Jehovah gave the Ca´naan·ites and the Per´iz·zites into their hands, so that they defeated them in Be´zek, ten thousand men. 5 When they found A·do´ni-be´zek in Be´zek, then they fought against him and defeated the Ca´naan·ites and the Per´iz·zites. 6 When A·do´ni-be´zek took to flight, then they went chasing after him and got hold of him and cut off the thumbs of his hands and the great toes of his feet. 7 At this A·do´ni-be´zek said: “There have been seventy kings with the thumbs of their hands and the great toes of their feet cut off picking up food under my table. Just the way I have done, so God has repaid me.” After that they brought him to Jerusalem and he died there. 8 Furthermore, the sons of Judah carried on war against Jerusalem and got to capture it, and they went striking it with the edge of the sword, and the city they consigned to the fire. 9 And afterward the sons of Judah went down to fight against the Ca´naan·ites inhabiting the mountainous region and the Neg´eb and the She·phe´lah. 10 So Judah marched against the Ca´naan·ites who were dwelling in He´bron (now the name of He´bron before that was Kir´i·ath-ar´ba), and they went striking down She´shai and A·hi´man and Tal´mai. 11 And they marched on from there against the inhabitants of De´bir. (Now the name of De´bir before that was Kir´i·ath-se´pher.) 12 Then Ca´leb said: “Whoever strikes Kir´i·ath-se´pher and does capture it, why, I will give him Ach´sah my daughter as a wife.” 13 And Oth´ni·el the son of Ke´naz, Ca´leb’s younger brother, got to capture it. For that he gave him Ach´sah his daughter as a wife. 14 And it came about that while she was going home, she kept inciting him to ask a field from her father. Then she clapped her hands while upon the ***. At this Ca´leb said to her: “What do you want?” 15 So she said to him: “Do grant me a blessing, for it is a southern piece of land you have given me, and you must give me Gul´loth-ma´im.” Accordingly Ca´leb gave her Upper Gul´loth and Lower Gul´loth. 16 And the sons of the Ken´ite, whose son-in-law Moses was, came up out of the city of palm trees with the sons of Judah to the wilderness of Judah, which is to the south of A´rad. Then they went and took up dwelling with the people. 17 But Judah marched on with Sim´e·on his brother, and they proceeded to strike the Ca´naan·ites inhabiting Ze´phath and to devote it to destruction. Hence the name of the city was called Hor´mah. 18 After that Judah captured Ga´za and its territory and Ash´ke·lon and its territory and Ek´ron and its territory. 19 And Jehovah continued with Judah, so that he took possession of the mountainous region, but he could not dispossess the inhabitants of the low plain, because they had war chariots with iron scythes. 20 When they gave Ca´leb He´bron, just as Moses had promised, then he drove out from there the three sons of A´nak. 21 And the sons of Benjamin did not drive out the Jeb´u·sites inhabiting Jerusalem; but the Jeb´u·sites keep on dwelling with the sons of Benjamin in Jerusalem down to this day. 22 Meantime the house of Joseph itself also went up against Beth´el, and Jehovah was with them. 23 And the house of Joseph began to spy on Beth´el (incidentally, the name of the city before that was Luz), 24 and the watchers got to see a man going out of the city. So they said to him: “Show us, please, the way to get into the city, and we shall certainly exercise kindness toward you.” 25 Accordingly the man showed them the way to get into the city; and they went striking the city with the edge of the sword, but the man and all his family they let go. 26 Upon that the man went to the land of the Hit´tites and built a city and called its name Luz. That is its name down to this day. 27 And Ma·nas´seh did not take possession of Beth-she´an and its dependent towns and Ta´a·nach and its dependent towns and the inhabitants of Dor and its dependent towns and the inhabitants of Ib´le·am and its dependent towns and the inhabitants of Me·gid´do and its dependent towns, but the Ca´naan·ites persisted in dwelling in this land. 28 And it came about that Israel grew strong and proceeded to set the Ca´naan·ites to forced labor, and they did not drive them out completely. 29 Neither did E´phra·im drive out the Ca´naan·ites who wer moreResolved Question: How do you fly from Rochester New York to Tel Aviv Israel airport? hello guys, i need to know what is the lesson of the story and what is being revealed(e.g. about god, people, relationships) Here is the Bible Passage: Judges 1:1-36 1 And after the death of Joshua it came about that the sons of Israel proceeded to inquire of Jehovah, saying: “Who of us will go up first to the Ca´naan·ites to fight against them?” 2 To this Jehovah said: “Judah will go up. This is another quote often used by Arabs:" we prefer to solve our differences in a calm and mature manner, I know that this may come as a shock to you, but we don’t solve our problems with a gun" The truth is that there was not a single year since the end of the Second World War when Arabs did not kill other Arabs- and anyone who had the bad luck to be close. I shall list here only conflicts that I remember from my school and University courses, I am sure there are many more. Egypt and Saidi Arabia vs. Yemen. Over 20,000 civilians killed. Egypt used the combat gases against the civil population. Morocco and Algeria armed conflict in the 1963 ("Sand War"). Libya-Chad conflict. In 1973 Libya effectively went to war against Chad and annexed Chadian land. Libya launched a full scale invasion of Chad in 1980. Libya-Egypt conflict.Following Egypt's first negotiations with Israel in 1973, Libya became hostile to Egypt. In 1977, not long after demonstrators in the two countries attacked each other's consulates, the two countries fought a four-day war (July 21-July 24) during which several Libyan aircraft were destroyed on the ground. First Sudanese Civil War A conflict from 1955 to 1972 between the northern part of Sudan and a south that demanded more regional autonomy. Half a million people died over the 17 years of war. Second Sudanese Civil War Started in 1983. The south of Sudan seeking independence, the crisis ended in 2005 with the southern parts of Sudan gaining autonomy with planned referendum on secession. Iraq- Kuwait clashes. April 1967 Iraq-Kuwait conflict in Al-Ratqa, Kuwait March 1973 Iraq-Kuwait conflict in Al-Sameta, Kuwait 1976 Iraq-Kuwait conflict in Al-Sameta, Kuwait 1990-1991 The invasion of Kuwait by Iraq (Gulf War) Iran- Iraq war. More than a million people killed. Iran used children as live mine-sweepers, giving them the plastic keys of "Paradise". Iraq versus Kurds. Again, using the chemical weapons against the civilian population. Syria occupying Lebanon. Dozens of thousands killed and over a million refugees. Darfur. More than 200000 people, mostly civilians, killed. North Yemen Civil War 1962–1970, where Saudi-Jordanian, were fighting against Egyptian-Syrians. 1994 civil war in Yemen The May-July 1994 civil war in Yemen was waged between the Yemeni government in Sana'a and Yemen Socialist Party (YSP) supporters, fighting for the secession of the southern part of Yemen . The war resulted in the defeat of the southern armed forces and the flight into exile of most of the YSP leaders and other southern secessionists. And today, Saudi Arabia is bombing Yemen. It´s what you would call " we prefer to solve our differences in a calm and mature manner and we don’t solve our problems with a gun"? moreResolved Question: Questions in Judaism? So, on the website it says you can get free airline tickets for a certain amount of points, and we have well over the amount needed to fly to Israel. But, everytime we plan flights with these points, they ALWAYS say they have no free flights available when we want to fly. I'm beginning to think it's some sort of scam. This woman is so corrupt, the country going down the drain and she and her buddies PARTAY it up at taxpayer expense!! excerpt... Judicial Watch said the newly obtained 2,000 pages of documentation show Pelosi's military travel cost the U.S. Air Force $2,100,744.59 over two years – including $101,429.14 for in-flight expenses, including food and alcohol. Among the newest highlights revealed: Pelosi used Air Force aircraft to travel back to her district at an average cost of $28,210.51 per flight. Of 103 Pelosi-led congressional delegations (CODEL), 31 trips included members of the House speaker's family. One CODEL traveling from Washington, D.C., through Tel Aviv, Israel, to Baghdad, Iraq, May 15-20, 2008, "to discuss matters of mutual concern with government leaders" included members of Congress and their spouses and cost $17,931 per hour in aircraft alone. This flight included the purchase of the long list of alcoholic drinks. According to a "Memo for Record" from a March 29-April 7, 2007, CODEL that involved a stop in Israel, "CODEL could only bring kosher items into the hotel. Kosher alcohol for mixing beverages in the delegation room was purchased on the local economy i.e. bourbon, whiskey, scotch, vodka, gin, triple sec, tequila, etc. Pelosi's office could not be reached for comment. The answering machine said the office would be closed until Monday, and the mailbox was full, so no messages could be left. http://www.judicialwatch.org/story/2010/jan/nancy-pelosi-air-force-documentsCommander: That was my fault...Believe it or not Idid not do that one intentionally. Obviously the top Nazi personnel who escaped Allied authorities after World War 2 and fled to South America should have been arrested, but was it right for the Israeli government to illegally and I believe unethically go undercover and take them down? Israel wasn't even a county during World War 2, yet they felt that they had the "authority" to execute the capture and execution of a number of Nazi officials. It's such bullshit and this just shows how egotistical the Israeli people really are. They think they own everything...I mean maybe if Israel was attacked by Germany, but it was not even a country until years after World War 2 ended. Please read this wikipedia article on Adolf Eichmann, a SS member in the Nazi party, and his take down by undercover Israeli agents. "In 1959, Mossad was informed that Eichmann was in Buenos Aires under the name Ricardo Klement (Clement) and began an effort to locate his exact whereabouts.[21] Through relentless surveillance, it was concluded that Ricardo Klement was, in fact, Adolf Eichmann. The Israeli government then approved an operation to capture Eichmann and bring him to Jerusalem for trial as a war criminal. The Mossad agents continued their surveillance of Eichmann through the first months of 1960 until it was judged safe to take him down, even watching as he delivered flowers to his wife on their 25th wedding anniversary on March 21. Eichmann was captured by a team of Mossad and Shabak agents in a suburb of Buenos Aires on May 11, 1960, as part of a covert operation.[22] The Mossad agents had arrived in Buenos Aires in April 1960 after Eichmann's identity was confirmed. After observing Eichmann for an extensive period of time, a team of Mossad agents waited for him as he arrived home from his work as foreman at a Mercedes Benz factory. One kept lookout waiting for his bus to arrive, while two agents pretended to be fixing a broken down car. An unconfirmed fourth would ride on the bus to make sure he would leave. Once Eichmann alighted and began walking the short distance to his home, he was asked by the agent at the car, Zvi Aharoni, for a cigarette. When Eichmann reached in his pocket he was set upon by the two by the car. Eichmann fought but team member Peter Malkin, a Polish Jew and a black belt in karate, knocked Eichmann unconscious with a strike to the back of his neck and bundled him into the car and took him to the safe house. There a preliminary interrogation was conducted and it was proved that Klement (Clement) was undoubtedly the Nazi Eichmann.[21] The agents kept him in a safe house until they judged that he could be taken to Israel without being detected by Argentine authorities; then smuggled him out of Argentina on board an El Al Bristol Britannia flight from Argentina to Dakar and then to Israel on May 21, 1960, heavily sedated and disguised, like the agents, in the uniform of the El Al crew.[23]To Joe T All those countries did that and the people responsible should be punished but not by covert agents from a country not involved in World War 2. Germany, Poland, or another country that was abused by these men in Europe should have sent people to Argentina to capture and give him a FAIR trial. There is no doubt that those judges knew from day 1 that they were going to sentence him to death. They didn't need all the evidence and proof of it...They didn't care if he was just following orders or not. Unbiased, Non-Jew/Gypsy people should have been the judges. and Yes the US is the most egotistical country in the world. Walk up to an American and tell them that their country is not the best and see the result. moreResolved Question: Was Jesus the false messiah?
1) Matthew 1:23 says that Jesus (the messiah) would be called Immanuel, which means "God with us." Yet no one, not even his parents, call him Immanuel at any point in the bible. 2) The Messiah must be a physical descendant of David (Romans 1:3 & Acts 2:30). Yet, how could Jesus meet this requirement since his genealogies in Matthew 1 and Luke 3 show he descended from David through Joseph, who was not his natural father because of the Virgin Birth. Hence, this prophecy could not have been fulfilled. 3) Isaiah 7:16 seems to say that before Jesus had reached the age of maturity, both of the Jewish countries would be destroyed. Yet there is no mention of this prophecy being fulfilled in the New Testament with the coming of Jesus, hence this is another Messiah prophecy not fulfilled. 4) The gospels (especially Matthew 21:4 and John 12:14-15) claim that Jesus fulfills the prophecy of Zechariah 9:9. But the next few verses (Zechariah 9:10-13) show that the person referred to in this verse is a military king that would rule "from sea to sea". Since Jesus had neither an army nor a kingdom, he could not have fulfilled this prophecy. 5) Matthew (Matthew 2:17-18) quotes Jeremiah (Jeremiah 31:15), claiming that it was a prophecy of King Herod’s alleged slaughter of the children in and around Bethlehem after the birth of Jesus. But this passage refers to the Babylonian captivity, as is clear by reading the next two verses (Jeremiah 31:16-17), and, thus, has nothing to do with Herod’s massacre. 6) John 19:33 says that during Jesus’ crucifixion, the soldiers didn’t break his legs because he was already dead. Verse John 19:36 claims that this fulfilled a prophecy: "Not a bone of him shall be broken." But there is no such prophecy. It is sometimes said that the prophecy appears in Exodus 12:46, Numbers 9:12 & Psalm 34:20. This is not correct. Exodus 12:46 & Numbers 9:12 are not prophecies, they are commandments. The Israelites are told not to break the bones of the Passover lamb, and this is all it is about. And Psalm 34:20 seems to refer to righteous people in general (see verse Psalm 34:19, where a plural is used), not to make a prophecy about a specific person. 7) "When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt." Hosea 11:1. Matthew (Matthew 2:15) claims that the flight of Jesus’ family to Egypt is a fulfillment of this verse. But Hosea 11:1 is not a prophecy at all. It is a reference to the Hebrew exodus from Egypt and has nothing to do with Jesus. Matthew tries to hide this fact by quoting only the last part of the verse ("Out of Egypt I have called my son"). 8) "But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting." Micah 5:2 The gospel of Matthew (Matthew 2:5-6) claims that Jesus’ birth in Bethlehem fulfils this prophecy. But this is unlikely for two reasons. A) "Bethlehem Ephratah" in Micah 5:2 refers not to a town, but to a clan: the clan of Bethlehem, who was the son of Caleb’s second wife, Ephrathah (1 Chronicles 2:18, 2:50-52 & 4:4). B) The prophecy (if that is what it is) does not refer to the Messiah, but rather to a military leader, as can be seen from Micah 5:6. This leader is supposed to defeat the Assyrians, which, of course, Jesus never did. It should also be noted that Matthew altered the text of Micah 5:2 by saying: "And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Judah" rather than "Bethlehem Ephratah" as is said in Micah 5:2. He did this, intentionally no doubt, to make this verse appear to refer to the town of Bethlehem rather than the family clan. moreResolved Question: Cape Verde or Israel?
I'm thinking of taking a 3 week holiday the last few weeks of March and was thinking of Cape Verde Islands or Israel. Are either of these two destinations good place to visit weather wise at this time? I was thinking of getting flights only for Cape Verde and doing a mix of backpacking, car hire and also traditional holiday stuff as well staying in hotels some nights on the beach and chilling. I was planning on hopping around a whole bunch of the islands and exploring, possible also taking tent with me... but I've heard that the Atlantic wind can be quite strong and I'm not sure on the camping rules there? Any advice from people who have been to Cape Verde, national, or Cape Verdean or Brits who have lived or do live there would be very much appreciated. I wanted to opt for Cape Verde because it seems a lot less spoilt than the Canaries and there's more of them do with a wide range of scenery and culture. As for Israel, getting there's not the problem I believe accommodation can be quite expensive? Any advice on cheaper priced accommodation would be great. I was probably looking at Tel Aviv as the base, maybe Eilat, and then doing a few excursion to Jerusalem, The Dead Sea and other historic and holy sites etc. Thanks for any recommendation, advice, and sharing any of your experiences in these countries. Thanks very much, John moreResolved Question: RE: The 9/11 Commission Report (Final)?
I have been through the 9/11 commission report. I found someplaces illogical (no offence) and also it was more theory and less evidence, OK I understand it says "ecidence has shown" but the question is what evidence ??? If there is evidence then the world has a right to know and muslims have a right to know because OVER 500 people in the World Trade Centre who died were muslims. Also what is your view on Dr Aafiya's case. I feel really sorry for her- she is innoccent. She is bound to be I mean come on out of OVER 700 of the deetaninee's in guantanamo bay only 5 have ever been charged. OMG!!!! I just dont understand this. I have nothing against America, Allah has created America, I love it. However, I find that the Administration of justice, the "Rulers" of America are nit being honest. I think its our right to know whether we are muslims or not, American or not WHAT THE REAL STORY IS, especially the muslims who are beung treated in an appauling way and the American Citizens who live in America and are not being told the truth. Why can't they come out with the truth. I just dont understand. But now one thing is clear these 'Conspiricy Theories' dont come out of no where? They kinda make sense. The National Geographic channel was showing on Conspiricy Files, and on another series the evidences that the attack on the pentagon was fake and that Flight 93 did not carry any passangers and was deliberatly flown into the ground. Who to believe? What to believe? Also I find that why does the American government give so much emphasis on muslim countries and sending troups into Muslim countries. ( I not generalising, people of America have nothing to do with this, no intent to offend anybody) I mean now Yemen, alhamdullilah they refused. Why is America stopping Irans nuclear porogramme and imposing laws on them whilst sending extra weapons and funds for war equipment to Israel......... That is NOT FAIR. What Anjum Choudry was planning in doing is not really wrong if he was doing it to protest against the war in Afghanistan however, media is decieving and decietful and I dont believe there claim and I will also say way, I dont believe media when they say he was aying 9/11 doers were matyrs, the reason why I dint believ this claim because one who is literate and sane and has read islam for what it is and not what the media has depicted would know this is wrong due to islam, and if this was the case millions of muslims would not have been with him. What is your take on these issues. No intent to offend any body, if I have did not mean to , sorry. Asalaamualakum.Let me expand on the Anjum Choudery issue as I have read through the question and it seem sall jumbled up. I am trying to say that If anjum ch was protesting against the war in Afghanistan I agree with him. But media claim that he was praising the doers of 9/11, I dont believe this because a good muslim and the literate educated people who have read islam for what it is and not what the media says would know that Islam prohibits this type of actions and if he did so then millions of muslims would not have supported him. He was only protesting against the war in Afghanistan, which honestly everybody knows needs to stop.. its unjust. Asalaamualakum. When I said Allah SWT made, I meant Allah SWT created this whole world, he created , uk , usa pakistan, india, china, france.... thats what I meant. In the recent show of missile strength to Israel, Irans missiles went bizzare, almost striking targets in its own territory. Tehran, Hormuz, Metfaz, Khojir, Parchin, Qum, Natanz, Isfahan are places where Iran has missiles (?nukes) in underground tunnels that the allies cannot penetrate. It is the next thought that the missiles were misdirected during the test flight by stronger radio signals by the allies. There is also plans to stop satellite GPS guidance to both civilians and military use, to further prevent Iran from using its missiles. The immediate neighbors of Iran are Iraq, Turkmenistan, AFghanisthan, Pakistan, SaudiArabia, and of course the Burj Dubai, with its spire visible from Iran. By crashing the missiles into the above mentioned places in Iran, the neighbors will be immediately saved. My dad is a travel agent who has no problem with us three going alone, and also I'm pretty responsible, but my mom says it's out of the question, which sucks. She is really stubborn. Even though my dad explained that flight attendants would be with us the whole time and even hold our hands as we switch gates in Italy. (Isaiah 52:11) 11 Turn away, turn away, get out of there, touch nothing unclean; get out from the midst of her, keep yourselves clean, YOU who are carrying the utensils of Jehovah. For YOU people will get out in no panic, and YOU will go in no flight. For Jehovah will be going even before YOU, and the God of Israel will be YOUR rear guard. True Christians should carefully avoid the false religious celebrations and holidays so popular in today world. For people may be drawn to the God we serve because they notice how we stand out a different from the crowd in this defiled world. Spiritual and physical cleanliness is essential. (Leviticus 11:44-45) For I am Jehovah YOUR God; and YOU must sanctify yourselves and YOU must prove yourselves holy, because I am holy. As a true christian you can't prove yourself holy and be unclean. If you are not a true christian then you will not recognize where the quotes come from as studied on Sunday at a local kingdom hall. Keeping yourself in God's Love implies that some sort of action is required on our part. What happened in Israelites time as regards cleanliness is part of our culture today. moreResolved Question: Did you know that Christmas Is a Pagan Holiday?
Christmas, literally Christ-mass, was copied from a heathen festival observed en December 24 and 25 in honor of the son of the Babylonian Queen Astarte, and was kept centuries before Christ. The Chaldeans called it Yule Day or Child Day. The Christmas tree so well known now was equally pagan and was common to all the heathen in those lands. According to a legend, on the eve of the day we call December 24 the yule-log was cast into a tree from which divine gifts from the gods were taken to bless men in the new year. This tree was common in the days of Jeremiah who warned Israel to flee from this heathen custom (Jer. 10:1-9). There is no proof that Christ was born on December 25. On the contrary, it seems that He was born during warm days, for He was born in a manger and in the cold months from December to February the winters are too severe for one to be traveling to pay tax as Joseph did with his family. Shepherds were in the field when Christ was born and it was not customary for them to stay with their flocks in the open from October to February. The winters of that land are so severe that Christ said, "Pray that your flight be not in winter' (Matt. 24:15-22). The only thing given in Scripture whereby we are to remember Christ is the Lord's Supper. The apostles did not observe such a day as is common to us. Tertullian, writing about 230 A.D., lamented the fact that Christians were beginning to observe the custom of the heathen and said, "Gifts are carried to and fro, new year's day presents are made with din, and sports and banquets are celebrated with uproar; how much more faithful are the heathen to their religion who take special care to adopt no solemnity of the Christians." The church after Constantine, full of pagans, became so corrupt that, in order to conciliate the heathen and swell the ranks of nominal Christians, this heathen festival on December 25 was adopted and the name of Christmass was given it. It is not known when this was officially done but it was not observed as a ritual of the church until the fourth century. moreVoting Question: Does anyone know the best method of finding reasonable first /bus class airfare?
