I can get a cheap flight to Frankfurt, and I can arrange my own transportation from Budapest (or even from just the western border with Hungary) but I want to know the very cheapest way to get from Frankfurt and through Austria. I will not be doing any sightseeing, so a nice view is not necessary but a cheap price is. I also wouldn't like to buy a full Eurail pass because I will not get my use out of it. Do they offer marshrutkas/maxi taxis in between Frankfurt/Vienna and Vienna/Budapest? Although I probably would hitchhike if I were traveling alone, it's not an option this time. Any personal experiences/good advice? I checked prices with VolanBusz and they seemed really pricey. I checked eurolines and although they advertise 29 eur, I ran the prices and it came to 109 eur. Any other ideas? And the reason I can't hitchhike is because i will be traveling with my husband and 1 year old. Nobody will pick us up! moreResolved Question: flying from philly to budapest via frankfurt?
I'm traveling to Europe to visit friends and family in a few weeks. To save money on the total cost of the trip I booked a round trip ticket from Philadelphia to Frankfurt and a second round trip ticket from Frankfurt to Budapest. Since it's two different tickets I assume I have to go through customs and everything and then check my bags in again. I probably just answered my own question...but if anyone can tell me for sure it would really alleviate some of my stress and worries. Hello All! Just ended a disastrous weekend! I flew from Budapest (Hungary) to Vilnius (Lithuania) to meet up with a woman I had been seeing once a month for the past 4 months. I booked a hotel, flight (of course) etc....Ironically, she was supposed to be meeting me at the airport but my flight got in late. I got a text message from her saying that she couldn't wait and had to go back. She asked me to call which I did. She told me:"did you get my e-mail?". I replied, "yes, the one asking me what time my flight got in". No, she said, "the one I sent 5 mins later." I said I had logged off to board my flight. She said, "I can't see you this weekend. It's complicated. I won't have time for you. Sorry." My immediate response was: "have you met someone else?". Evasively she agreed, that it had happened two days ago and she felt really bad. Strangely enough, that morning as I was leaving my house to go to Lithuania, I stopped at the door and asked myself: "Should I stay home or go?" moreResolved Question: does delta flight Budapest - JFK have in-seat screen?

The movie follows Jesse, a young American on his way to Vienna to catch a flight back home after a traumatic break-up, and Celine, a young French woman traveling back to Paris to attend school at La Sorbonne after having visited her grandmother in Budapest. They meet on a train and after talking for a while, Jesse convinces Celine to get off the train with him at Vienna so they can spend more time together. The two characters' ideas, perspectives on life, love, reincarnation, etc. are detailed and thought out. Jesse is a romantic disguised as a cynic, and Celine seemingly a romantic though with some doubts. Taking place over the course of one night, their limited time together is always on their minds, and leads to their revealing more about themselves than they normally would, since both believe they will never see one another again. As a guy i almost feared being in that situation when the fear of loss is always lingering on your head. I am waiting anxiously for your answer. moreResolved Question: What is the cheapest flight from Chicago to Budapest?
