2 Weeks Earlier “For he’s a jolly good fellow, for he’s a jolly good fellow, for he’s a jolly good fellow! Which nobody can deny!” The group drunkenly sang, so it ended up sounding like they had sung it while drinking a glass of water, though none of them cared, barely sober enough to remember the lyrics. Jeremiah stumbled, almost dropping the iPhone being used to capture the moment. He couldn’t remember how the dare got started. Maybe Stephan had suggested it? Anyway, here they were, most of them finished drinking the seventh shot of the night, only having five more bars to lie there way into so they could complete the very illegal dare. “Oh my god!” Jeremiah shouted, watching helplessly as Daniel, his best friend of seven years, fell to the ground intoxicated. Stephan kneeled down and turned Daniel over, so that he was face up. There was blood streaking his forehead, a result of falling down on the concrete ground. The blood slid down the side of Dan’s face, like a crimson tear. Jacques ran to him, drunkenly tripping over his own feet. Stephan let out a strangled cry, tears pouring down his face. Resolved Question: What songs should I preform for a bunch of 3-5 year olds?

My friend and I are an acoustic duo called Michelle & Anastasia and you can find us on youtube, but we don't have great videos up right now because of camera issues- we're planning on buying a new camera soon. Anyway, we were asked to perform for a group of 3-5 year old kids (boys and girls) and we're trying to make up a set list. They want us to do songs like Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and the Wheels on The bus lol, and we were thinking maybe stuff by Rick Charette because he sings and writes "silly" songs for kids. For example, one of his more popular songs is called "Mud" and the lyrics are like "Mud, Mud, I love mud, I'm absaloutley positvely wild about mud, I can't go around it I've got to go through it..." and things like that. We were also thinking they might like it if we did Taylor Swift songs or some Hannah Montana/Disney kind of things, but they might be too young to know those things. Resolved Question: What did you think of the princess and the frog?

I loved it! It really brought me back to my childhood, and had all of the features of a real Disney movie. It had the dream. The one thing the main character hopes for. Then there's the Prince. That perfect man. Then there's the quirks and problems that lead to the romance. There's tragedy, satisfaction, and comedy. Followed by sacrifice, romance, and a happily ever after, followed with the oh so wonderful underlying Disney message. "That dreams really can come true." I felt really in touch with the characters, I fell in love with them, I danced along and sang to the lyrics in the movie, I could relate to them, I laughed, I even cried. I never got it. Let's regard their instrumental abilities. They suck so bad that they have to hire a drummer. Who plays the most simplistic beats and fills if any of you jonas lovers even know what those are. Their guitar player repeats the same power chord over and over. For all of you people that think that takes talent, no it does not. Repeating the same chord over, and over, is not skill. It's laziness, and a crutch for lack of skill playing an instrument. Basically, they suck. On to their lyrics. First off, 90% of their songs are written by a disney professional whose lyrics are designed to make you little girl's pants tingle when you hear them, thus making you waste your money on this laughable excuse for a band, thus generating them more money to waste on other corporate sellouts that I won't get into this question. If they weren't "o mi gawd" cute, then they would have no fan base. If you still think these guys have talent, tell me what it is. Just so you know, to quote another guy: PS. NONE OF YOU EVER HAVE A CHANCE WITH ANY OF THEM. YOUR a. too young b. not rich enough c. a fan (fan = groupie) d. not pretty enough e. not famous (if you have not noticed, famous people only date other famous people. and to top it all off, there would always be someone thinner, cuter, and willing to do that one thing that you wont do. Congrats on giving in to the cash cow that is in the jonas brothers. And hannah montana at that. but I am nervous and start to panic when I see him or we walk by. He liked me when we were younger, but now with all his soo super popular friends, I don't know when I can actually talk to him. He himself is one of the smartest, cutest, most popular, and best athletic and sport person in the entire grade. He gets straight A's (and I get all A's and normally one B+) and has received numerous awards from being the best student/learner in the grade to best student in P.E. out of all three periods the teachers teach. I want to know if I should just drop him and my interest and just move on, or should I just stay put and wait?! I have had 4 crushes so far, and 3 of them were like total jokes to me now. But me and Ryan, idk, it's like completely different. He always smiled at me and tried to impress me. He once found out when I was younger that I liked Hannah Montana (and I would NEVER like HM now, no offense intended, just my opinion) and tried to make the entire grade, or at least class start liking HM. Since he is totally Mr.popular, it definitely worked. Even the most popular above him listened and started singing random HM lyrics. It was funny, but he stopped it after a while once it died down and he realized that I no longer liked it anymore. Also, during some Jump Rope for Heart thing, while the principal and other speakers and performers were doing things, Ryan just sat there, like 20 feet away with his popular friends looking at me, and smiling..I think? Can't remember though, was a while ago. He also found my goggles for science that I lost and told me in Art class that he found them and saw them in a classroom. I mean, normally, people wouldn't even bother caring about these things happening, they'd just laugh about somebody losing things or doing so and so, and spread the news. But Ryan didn't, he actually told me about the goggles, not starting a rumor about me being super clumsy or whatever. On the downside though, Ryan also once agreed with his popular(but not so pop in my view) friends in Art that I was loud and everything. This reallyyy angered me and changed my views on liking him. But doesn't matter how much, I always seem to become attracted to him again and again. So those are some things that he's done to me. I've also done some things to him as well, but not as much as he has done for me. I've even CRIED a few times when I realized that he might be avoiding me and not liking me anymore just to keep cool. I constantly look at his picture in the yearbook, and talk to it, lol (yes, weird). But my point is to give me your opinion and point of view on this situation. Do you think i should stay with liking him and wait, or should I try to forget(which will be verrryyy hard) him and move on(i'm not sure I can, but I'll give it a shot) TELL ME?! Resolved Question: Why is rap so disliked?

Ok first of all I don't really like rap, I'm into folk-rock like Bob Dylan and the Bealtes and that kind of stuff, but I really don't see why these people that say they like "rock" hate rap so much. In my opinion heavy metal/death metal/black metal/ doom metal/ (what else are they calling it these days?) is much worse. It sounds like trash can lids being hammered together over and over. All it is is a bunch of guys with complexes about their manhood trying to compensate about it by singing about death and darkness and all this crap. Pop music like the Jonas Brothers and Hannah Montana is just as bad as heavy metal. The lyrics in both these genres is absolutely meaningless. But I kind of respect rap in the fact that it's actually pretty poetic. Sure there are the idiots who sing about killing people and raping women, but the majority of rap is very poetic. I'll take rap over heavy metal or the Jonas Brothers anyday. What about you?Listen to the song "Fuck Her Gently" by the ROCK group Tenacious D, and tell me that's not worse than rap. I don't like or dislike rap, I'm really indifferent to it. My point is I RESPECT it because most of it (not the mainstream stuff) is very poetic and it has a certain level of genius to it.
