Open Question: Do you think is it too late for being a rock star? (I'm 26)?
Hi, I've always wanted to be a Rock star, since I was a little girl, but I didn't have the chance to follow my dream until now. Do you think it's too late for me to follow my dream of becoming a Rock and roll star? Well, I don't need to learn guitar because I already know (I started playing when I was 12) and people say I sing very well (although I haven't taken singing lessons). I know how to read music. What I think I have to do now is to find a band to start playing professionally. What do you think? could you give me an advise? I really want to make it and I'm going to put all my energy, all my love and effort to reach my goal. All comments will be greatly apreciatted. Thank you very much. moreOpen Question: Guitars, music, and reading?
I really wanna learn how to play the electric guitar, but my mom's excuse is that I dont know how to read music. Cuz i figured that i could rent/borrow a guitar and have sum1 teach me how to play it. but its kinda hard if i cant read music. and sites or whatever that i can check out to learn how to read it. cuz i really like rock music and i really wanna learn how to play an electric guitar. moreOpen Question: Need some vocal recording advice?
I am working on trying to promote my singing, so I want to make good cd, and possible a video to post online, but I have never really worked with much audio recording myself. Can anyone offer some advice on good recording equipment/software that I can use. What type of mic i need, ect. I write songs, but I am in the process of learning how to play piano or guitar to sing along to them. So for the time being I would basically be singing other peoples songs. Another question, is there any easy to use software out there that I could make music for my songs on myself? I can read some sheet music, but I am more of a compose by sound kind of person. I will take any advice. Thank you! moreOpen Question: Just me i guess..sorry im just bored im not really asking a question.?
ok. hi. My name is......well...lets just call me Doodle. That's what my friends call me. I am 16 years old. My birthday is Oct. 11 1993. I guess you could say im your average teenage girl in high school..well...with your average teenage girl in high school problems. Grades, Boyfriends, Friends, classes, just drama and trying to please my mama when i get home. Now i know you didn't open this question just to read my boring sob story. So if your bored already just turn around and go back and go answer someones Else question. seeing as im not asking a question. Still here? well ok ill continue. Now where was i? oh yeah...well my high school is like every ones Else's. You got your jocks, cheerleader (all look the same btw. blonds and brunets and stick thin with big boobs and butts) yes i i have issues with myself and how i look so i talk about pretty girls. get over it. Now where was i again? oh yes and you have your all A's students that are like a walking computer. you got your stoners and drunks, your musicians who either really suck or are actually unbelievably good. you got your anime freaks, your twilight fans, your skater and scene kids. we don't have goth or emo anymore. they just kind of jumped together, you also got your tech freaks (those guys/girls that have the best cell phones and music players around), your best dressed, class clowns, bad asses, and weirdos. Now where i fit in all this..i have no clue. i kinda float among them all. i love music and i live in a music family but im too lazy to learn an instrument. Im not the worst stoner but i will smoke if i want it. I read the twilight books but didn't see the movies...book was pretty good but it killed the name of vampires everywhere. Im kind of weird cause i like scary movies and i think jason vorhees is the best thing since french toast. im a horror movie bad guy freak. love'em. and i liked anime as a kid and i learned how to draw that stuff in middle school so i sometimes draw it now. Im random and dress weird all the time. Im just kinda stuck with this high school hell. everyday is drama. everyday my friend either get in a fight, get broken hearted, get thrown in jail, or worse. it never ends. I just recently got a boyfriend. His name is...well i call him Bunny. long story just a big joke really. Well me and Bunny have been dating for going on 10 months this 18th. yay us! well Bunny is a blend of a stoner guitar guy. He is very sweet in his own way. No hes not one of those guys that shows his love in an obvious way. He has his own weird way of showing it...like when im with his guy friends he had to put his arms around me. when im sad he likes to act like he is sucking my brains out through my ear. he makes me laugh and i cant help but smile when he is around. I cant say that we will last forever and i wont. But im happy where i am and i wont worry bout the future yet. My boyfriend may be sweet but he can be a jerk sometimes and trust me im no angel either when we both get mad. I hate when we fight cause usually its my fault cause i over react and always jump to conclusions. i cant tell u how many times i jumped on Bunny cause i accused him of cheating or lying or wanting to leave me. But its just me being paranoid. You see my mother has been through many a relationship and sometimes i make her same mistakes. So i try to think things through and not just resort to the..all guys are cheating lying pigs theory. There are some good ones out there. I really don't know why im writing this. Im just alone at home with nothing to do. I miss Bunny and i wish there was something better to eat that instant Ramen. but hey, beggars cant be choosers. If you have managed to stick around this long for this boring story with no pint or question i want to thank you. You truly are as bored as i am. Well im going to end this because iv ran out of things to say and this has helped my loneliness. So thank you yahoo! and thank you readers if you truly have stayed with me this long. if not...well thanks for trying. Gtg. muah. good night dear internet browsers! moreOpen Question: Would it be easier to learn how to play guitar or a piano keyboard without lessons?
I want to write songs, but I find it hard to do without some help with chords and such, and I would really like to be able to play an instrument, but don't have time for lessons. So I was just wondering which of the above would be easier for me to leach myself! I know how to read music and notes. Thanks! moreOpen Question: Beginner Clarinet Questions?
Alright, I'm very interested in learning to play the clarinet. (I play guitar, bass and percussion seriously, as well as a bit of banjo, mandolin and piano. Just a bit of fiddling with those last three, really.) I really want to branch out a bit, and I've always been interested in the clarinet. I want to learn to play it - mainly for jazz. Here's the clarinet I was thinking of getting: http://band-orchestra.musiciansfriend.com/product/Etude-ECL100-Clarinet-Outfit?sku=463674 That one seems good - I don't want anything too crazy or expensive now, cause I don't know if I'm seriously going to play or not. If I really got into it, I'd buy a better one later. So, to anyone who plays clarinet, do you consider that one good for a beginner? Also, what would I need? I've heard of reeds and stuff like that...I don't see anything about a reed in this clarinet's information, so I don't know if that one uses them or what. Need help! Also! Do you read music for playing clarinet, or is it a lot of improv? Guitar uses pretty much no music, just tabs and chords. How is it for clarinet? I'd really appreciate the help all! Points to the best answer! Thanks! moreOpen Question: What are some simple songs to learn on the bass? (Perhaps include a link to some tabs/Sheets?)?
The question covers it all. I just started playing bass today, but I read music and I'm experienced with acoustic guitar, piano etc. I need an easy/moderate level bass song that I can prepare quickly on a short notice. Suggestions? moreOpen Question: Where can I learn to read music sheet?
Alright, I don't know if it is exactly called like that, but I play guitar and when I open the Guitar Pro program, there appear 2 rows. On the lower row is the tabulature, which are indicated the frets, and on the first row are the notes. You know, the black points, with a tail in the upside on the portative. There are also some "#" and "b". I know they are called sharps and flats. However, how can I learn to really read them, and when I see a portative to read it fluently. All of those notes, I want to know how to read them. On some songs there are many symbols that I really don't know what they are. moreResolved Question: How hard is it to learn piano if...?
Ok so i play guitar and bass guitar and im pretty alright at both but i can't read sheet music. how hard would piano be for me? moreVoting Question: How long would it take me to learn bass guitar well enough to play in a band?
I absolutely love music, so I decided to pick up bass and eventually play in a band with my friend who has been playing guitar for 6 years. I know the length it takes to learn bass also depends on some factors so here is a list: -Ive been a percussionist for 5 years -I'm 15 years old -I can read rhythm and notes fairly well -I plan on getting private lessons -I've been told from my teachers that I'm a fast learner -I practice for 3 hours a day -My friend also is giving me tips as well I'm very dedicated, I got my bass a week ago and I've taught myself seven nation army(white stripes), the national anthem(radiohead) money(pink floyd), blisters in the sun(violent femmes) and I'm currently working on learning come together and i saw her standing there(The beatles) moreVoting Question: how to get started on guitar?
I just got a guitar, and I'm really excited to learn. I can't pay for lessons, and i am completely clueless on where to start. I can't read music or anything. But i have time to kill, and I'm willing to learn anything i need to. Can anyone send some songs that are easy to play for beginners like me please? any other help would be great to! P.s this is my brothers account, just so you know, not that it matters anyways. moreVoting Question: What kind of guitar is best for me?
I'm looking to buy my first guitar as well as learn more about composing, reading and developing a better understanding of music. I have been most influenced to do so from spending years listening to artists such as Led Zeppelin, Cream, The Who, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones, etc. I am most interested in learning to play music similar to theirs and especially interested in learning some of their own songs. What kind of guitar would be best for me? The type, and any other advise would be very appreciated. moreResolved Question: Best way to learn piano?
I've been playing guitar for several years, however I'd like to learn piano along with a bit of music theory (mainly for reading sheet music). How should I go about starting? Not looking to take lessons either. I don't know enough about reading sheet music or the piano to be able to learn more complicated songs on my own (some modern stuff, but Chopin, Rachmaninoff, and other greats), so I guess I'm looking more for exercises and websites to learn from. Any ideas? moreVoting Question: Okay this is really bothering me?... plz read all i need help?

I'm looking for a cheaper way to do it.Teen Spirit by Nirvana was my first song I learned. I took guitar for about 4 years then quit. At the time I quit I was playing Offspring and some metal power chords only. Any specific books/youtube videos on terminology? Hi everyone, I recently re-watched Mission Impossible 2 after years and heard the song 'Nyah', instantly falling in love with the sound of the guitar on it. So I went and purchased a relatively cheap classical guitar because I really really want to learn this instrument. The thing is, I have no knowledge whatsoever of music. I can't read 'tabs', notes etc. I don't even know my chord from my plectrum :P, so I was wondering what the best beginners book is out there for learning my guitar, which will also explain everything else that a complete newbie would need to know. Preferably something that comes with a CD/DVD so I can follow along, but I don't really mind. Thanks for your help in advance. :) moreResolved Question: Is It hard to learn Bass Guitar (Read Desc. I would like to know what's a beat? Thank you very mush. moreResolved Question: Can you help me decide on a major?
I love to keep journals about the events in my life. Writing just comes second nature to me. I would love to one day just get paid for writing articles about the things that I experience throughout my day. I thought about majoring in English, then Journalism. However, I've heard that it is extremely difficult to get a career started in both of those fields. I love food. I thought about going to culinary arts school, then writing articles about some of the skills I learned or maybe starting a blog. "Perhaps", I thought, "I could eventually open a restaurant." My mind says no. I love music. I want to eventually play clarinet, guitar, keyboard, and violin. There's no career for a music hobby though. After reading "Confessions of a Shopaholic", I realized that the main character had the type of career that I could be interested in. I just don't know how to get started in writing. Contrary to what others say, money definitely matters! I don't want to graduated college and not be able to get a job. Moving back in with my parents is not an option. In fact, I could very well end up having to take care of my little nieces after I graduate, so I need a major that will definitely get me somewhere. I'm going to attend my local community college in August, full time, until I absolutely have to transfer to a four year college. If you can give me an Associates degree that will allow me to write, that would be even better. Thank you very much for your help. I'm desperate. moreVoting Question: Why didn't they want me in their band?
OK, so my friend started this band a while back and now they've got their first gig. I admit that now I'm extremely jealous. But I could've been their bass player! I mean, that was the only missing spot, and they completely looked over me! I mean, i've only been playing for a year or so, but I've been told by a lot of people that I'm pretty good! I learn songs quickly (and I've tried my hand at writing some) and I can learn by ear. I can play guitar and violin, too. (not that that's very useful XD0 But anyway... The bassist they've got now can only read sheet music. I feel that my being a girl may have influenced some of it. I mean, I don't really want to play with them anymore, I just want to play... And it seems like finding a good band is hopeless now...I don't know, but it feels like I could be jumping to conclusions becasue now their living my dream...I think so. I mean, if I sucked, my friends would definately tell me. Haha! I hope that was it. I still can't get over the fact that their bassist can only read sheet music, though! They're a metal band and I'm open to just about anything, really. He (the leader) never actually heard me play. ^^; I asked him like 10 times on Facebook, and he never responed. moreResolved Question: What do I need to do to get into Juilliard?

I've been playing around on my sisters keyboard for about 2 months now, and I'm really starting to get into it. I've started learning a few chords and I know the notes, you know C D E F G A B and stuff. I've started to learn a few song but some I get stuck and don't finish them, I taught myself play guitar fairly well so I have learned some of the songs I know on guitar onto the piano by ear but its just very simple stuff. I am really getting frustrated with not finishing a song, I have learned parts of "Fur Elise" and "The River Flows In You" but i haven't gotten far. I practice every day (I probably work harder at learning piano than I do with my school work), maybe I'm just getting to far ahead of myself? I don't want to learn super easy songs like "twinkle twinkle little star" or "mary had a little lamb" I want something more challenging but not to hard, Do you know any songs that would be good for me to learn? Also I don't know how to read music sheets and was wondering if that is something difficult to learn on your own (I bet if I could read them it would make things easier)? Also are there any websites that can help me with that? I Thank You in advance, and apreciate any advice that might help me be a better pianist moreVoting Question: I know death isn't the best choice I can have, but what can I do? Help me!?
Please... I need help. I just planned to kill myself today, because of the problems I have through all of my life. You won't believe if I'll tell you that I'm only 16 years and a half. Since I was a little boy, I wasn't listening to my parents. Ultimately, this thing leaded me on the worst paths that I can choose. I remember my mother telling me everyday when I was in the 8th grade to learn, let off the computer and games, and just learn to catch a good place on a good high school. I wasn't listening to her, and I caught a place on the worst high school in town... situated over a field. Is like 5 km every morning and the people out there are just creepy. They can't say or speak with someone else without shouting, adding bad words, adding stupid nicknames to that person or spitting them. I've been bullied in the elementary school too, but in high school is even worst. I told my parents to let me drop out an focus on something else, but they told me, in our country is thousands times harder to get yourself known in something else, even if you are 100% great or perfect! Be it music, or art or something else. A lot of people told me that I have a great talent in these things, but I realize what my parents are saying. Is hard to get noticed, and you need least high school or a school in that domain, but least high school. You can't appear on TV for example, if you don't have least high school diploma. They told me "You think if it would be completely useless, we would keep tell you to go? You need it when you don't know that you need it. A lot of doors will turn into walls if you don't have it." And I know they are right. Even if I wanna finish it, I can't go through all of this stress. We spend long hours every day to speak about this, and this is the only conclusion we go to. This is what they tell me, and I know they're right, but I can't, I just can't go. I tried some music therapy, listening to songs that makes me pleasure or playing guitar and drawing sometimes. I also changed my mind from negative to positive thoughts, but the situation didn't changed a bit. I've tried 3 times to change school, every time I had the possibility, but our school don't let students go. My family spoke with a lot of people they knew, but, the much they tried, they couldn't do anything. My school don't want to lose students. However, I know I bring a lot of shame to my family, because of my poor grades and stuff, but I just can't learn when I'm bullied. I just want all of this to end... to just stop speaking about this, hours and hours after my parents come out from work. I want all of this to stop. I feel I can't go anymore, even if I try too much. Death is the only one remaining and I planned to just jump over 3rd floor, to put and end in all of this. To just end a period, and start another. I want my parents and all of my family, grandparents, everyone, to just live in peace, without knowing me as a problem. I can't drop out and I can't go. If I'll just die, I will finish with this all. I know their lives might be hard without me, but I accumulate too much stress every day. Believe me, they told me they didn't stress that much in a lifetime, and I stressed so much in 16 years. Thanks for reading (if anyone has read)Yeah, I know school don't have any right to keep me in, but everything is corupt here. Whoever you speak to, it all depends on the ones in the school, no way to move, I tried in 2 years 3 times. Every time I had the possiblity as I said!Look how it is, I tried to move, but they just dont let you go. Only if you move with your family in another city. Even if you go here by yourself they dont let you. They have stupid rules. I spoke with important persons in both schools. In the other school they told me they would let me come, but it only depends of the current high school. They dont let anybody to go, no matter if you are in the 9th or 12th grade. Last month my parents spoke with at least 3 person, they was there many times. No one can do anything. Stupid rules, what can I say. moreVoting Question: Do you have trouble learning another instrument?
So I played piano and violin for awhile. I still do the piano but I quit the violin a few years ago. I played both of these for at least ten years. I just started learning the guitar. Trying to read sheet music is mind fuking me. I keep wanting to do the violin finger patterns. For example, B on the violin would be first finger on the A string, but it is an open B string on the guitar, so I keep wanting to but my first finger down instead of playing an open string. And tips on how to make the transition from one instrument to another easier? moreResolved Question: Do You Think Music Video Games Are Bad?
We all have played a music video game like Guitar Hero or Rock Band. I've played them and enjoyed them. What I noticed about these type of games is that they get people into music they never really liked, while it gives others the knowledge of other type of bands. But if you notice, some people actually heard of some of the bands located on the music games. While others just start to like them and change and suddenly they like music they said they never really like, but now they like that kind of music. What I'm saying is that these type of games are stopping us from learning band from actually listening to their album and reading their life. I haven't played a music game in a while now because I'm getting sick of it, and now, if you mention any band to anybody, you would notice that if you ask 90 people they heard of a certain band, probably 80/90 of those kids would know these bands. I want to leave these games behind and learn from what is in music and book shelves instead of what a game says. So to make this story short, I believe that music video games are getting people into other kinds of music they never liked before, and is probably the change to why so many people are different all of the sudden. Do you think music video games are bad? moreResolved Question: Learning to paly the Electric Guitar any tips(read below)?

i want to know because i have played flute in the 3rd and 4th grade and now i'm in the 10th grade it's okay and it not so easy but not so hard either. i might not keep on practicing on it. piano is difficult but i'm learning but i'll try to become an intermidiate the most my dad said to be an expert it takes years and years to master it not just 1 or 2. sorry not for me. bass tried might improved, drums easiest to improvise but still a beginner will improved to at least an intermidiate. guitar my life long passion.begginner i must admit i decided not to practice during freshman year and yeah i regretted that but now i'm gonna practice everyday at least 2 hours or so. i'll try to become an expert on that. also if i learn guitar than bass should be easy right? i'll practice guitar, drums and piano(once my brother gives me the copy of his piano book)every single day. also if i were able to read the sheet music for piano then drums and guitar should be easy right the thing is no sites tells me where to play the guitar on the sheet music and drums well yeah got that all i need are songs so piano is technically the easiest to play for songs since i know where to play well i will soon. how long will it take to master reading sheet music and yeah i know tabs are easier but in case if the songs are in sheet music i want to be able to play so how long? also got any songs on tabs for drums, guitar and piano or sheet music even? moreVoting Question: I need a good Piano or Guitar book?
I am trying to learn both the guitar and the piano. I work with kids with autism and want to be able to play kids songs at least as studies have shown that this improves learning skills in my kids. I don't have the money for a teacher so I'd like to get a book and try that out. I don't read music and don't play other instruments. Any good suggestions for a book? moreResolved Question: How can I become friends with a guy I barely even know?
I know that this sounds pretty pathetic but anyway, I'm a sophomore and he's a senior. The only class I have with him excluding Lunch is Gym but I see him a lot in the hallways. I know I probably like him just because of his looks but that's why I want to try and get to know him better before anything else. I don't know how to strike a conversation or anything without seeming like I have a crush on him and getting the first convo with him is really hard because of the whole sophomore-senior thing and the fact that he seems like one of those more popular people. I learned that he's really into music since he brought in his guitar one day and that made me like him even more. I would bring an instrument in to play but it's not like I can bring in a piano and a flute doesn't seem that casual. I just want to know how I can some how talk to him, get him to notice me or become friends with him. Thanks for reading [:. moreResolved Question: How to learn guitar fast?
I love to sing and want to learn to play guitar. There are so many choices with guitar lessons that I don't even know where to start. I don't care about learning to read music. Well I'm Planning on Either learning Piano or Guitar? Which is easier to learn? How long will it take for both beofore i am approximatley grade 4 standard? I Can already play flute at grade 7 can read music and am 16 years old. I Will be self taught and Practicing 1-2 hours per day. Thank you for answering. moreResolved Question: Am I the only one that thinks guitar is a better instrument than piano?
all those snobby rich kids in school tease me because I play guitar they all play piano and have been doing so for years and years anyways to me the guitar is a better instrument for many many reasons it's ability to bend strings... it is much more difficult to master (especially sight reading) ...not to mention different tunings it has way more techniques to learn (picking, finger picking, hybrid, slide, bend, vibrato, sweep, use of trem, so much more) to add its a MUCH more versatile instrument (in many many genre of music, guitar is the melody besides vocals) Lastly i would say that guitar is ALL ABOUT TONE...sure different pianos can sound different but for guitars everything makes the sound different.... your fingers... pick you use, the way you pick, the shape, the thickness, the material strings ..the gauge, the material, etc guitar..i can go on forever, but to keep it short...the wood (fretboard, neck, body) the style (solid, semi, hollow), the scales, the frets, the bridge...pickups amp also can go on forever...look at how many brands and series...ALL have different TONE im not gonna include stompboxes because those are effects...if i didnt it wouldnt be fair to me ...without those sophistication composers or classical music, i would say that piano is way out of guitar's league as an instrument how can they make fun of me ............i dont get it moreResolved Question: Regarding learning styles (visual-spatial v. verbal-sequential)?
I realize that most, if not all people fall somewhere in the middle on the continuum, but do the 2 parts in each category necessarily always go together? I am what I would most appropriately call visual-verbal, and sorely deficient spatially and sequentially. Can this be? I understand it perfectly normal to be a bit of both (Visual-spatial AND verbal-sequential) but what of the disparity between each sub-category? Allow me to explain: -Can not perform simple arithmetic in my head. Jumble numbers, reverse signs, can never remember what to do with them... -FAILED Algebra I and Chemistry -ACED Geometry (it felt automatic) -LOVE Physics (self-taught due to the fact that my Algebra grades disallowed me to participate in Physics class in school. If my interest and level of understanding at present are any indication, I speculate I'd have done well in Physics class.) If I had my choice (regardless of prerequisite college algebra courses) I'd major in Physics, more specifically theoretical physics. -Never know what time it is. -Chronically disorganized/procrastinator -NEVER know which direction I'm going in; I'm easily lost -Love writing, reading, literature, and foreign languages (best subjects in school alongside Geometry.) -Good speller but only because I can picture the word in my head, and also the words above, below, or next to it on the paper I read it off of--not sequentially, as "normal" good-spellers usually do. -Love music -Self-taught piano, guitar, ukulele, banjo, and cello (can't read music, but can learn songs relatively quickly by ear) -I sing. - Love any sort of theory or concept, have trouble with detail (thereby learning things "backwards"--needing the whole concept in all its complexity laid in front of me first, then work down to minute details) -Can think in words and pictures. But I don't necessarily know the difference between thinking in word vs. a picture of a word. -But every memory I have is stored as a very descriptive picture. -I can memorize easily because I "see" the sentences the information came from in the textbook including where each sentence was on the page, the font, and the color, as well as any diagrams--but QUICKLY forget it after a test. I hate routine and rote-memorization, but I can do it. (the former is accepted much more reluctantly, however, if not rejected entirely...) Verbal-Visual, no? I can't help but think there is something wrong with me. Though, only because it'd be easier to swallow than to have to admit to myself that I'm actually just dumb. For the sake of my ego, I'm more comfortable with the former but have also resigned to averageness as the most befitting description of my intelligence level. However much I disdain mediocrity (more fear it, actually) I AM able to admit that I'm average-- I just hate it, and hate the fact that I hate it as well, as if it were something "bad" (which I know it is not...) Thoughts? Insight? No? Yes? Am I being melodramatic? Is this normal? Should I shut up now? ;) moreResolved Question: grade 8 guitar ?? any help would be brillant?

hi, i'm 14, and i'm thinking about taking up the guitar. I played piano for a while, so I can read music, and I learned a few basic guitar chords in music class. but i want to actually know how to play it. so, my questions are: do your fingers hurt from playing guitar? is it difficult (as far as instuments go)? and would it take me a while to be good enough to play music that I like, or would I have to start out playing twinkle twinkle little star? also, do you recommend I take lessons, or can I teach myself? thanks! moreVoting Question: I wrote a short story and I'd like an answer about what you think and how I can improve it.?
I woke with a start in a dark room; I let my eyes adjust to the faint light that was seeping through my window that was covering everything with a layer of peach sunshine. All I could see was a small round face peering at me over my layer of blankets that were on my chest. “Hi, Gwen! Today I have school!” I said to the face. “Mew” was all the face replied. I smiled at the small round face. Gwen is my calico kitten; she has a golden, sunshiny eye that seemed to glow in the dark and that smiled at me. She started to lick my nose. I giggled a small laugh and started to pet her, just then a cold gust of wind swept through the room. It was cold even though it was June, but it was 5 a.m. I then picked Gwen up, kicked the covers and set her down. I quickly jogged over to the window and slammed the window down with a loud BANG! “Goodness that was loud wasn’t it?” I asked her. “Mew” was her reply. I went over to the computer and turned it on, as I waited for it to ‘boot up I picked out some cute clothes so after I checked my Email I could go take a shower. I got a letter from my friend that I made at camp it read: Hay, have you heard from that cute guy, um, Devin? Is that his name? Oops GTG Mom’s calling me! Kattelinee I met Devin from camp too, I had to reply! Yeah, I actually have heard from Devin, He, get this, goes to my school and my class, AND HE AND I SHARE A LOCKER!!!!! OH MY GOODNESS!!!! He’s SO cute!!!! GTG, KATIE I had to hurry with the rest of my mail and go take my shower, then I brushed my teeth, hair and then I flossed and used mouthwash and then I hurried downstairs to go eat breakfast and then I yelled one name once I finished “GWEN!!!!” then I heard her collar as she flew down the stairs at top speed. Once she made it to the kitchen she looked up at me expectantly. I set down my bowl and she started licking up the left over milk. I shoved a piece of gum in my mouth as I shoved my arms into my jacket and ran out the door to the end of our driveway. Just then the bus came to a stop at our driveway. We seemed to fly through the route faster than normal. Once we got to school I ran to my locker, there he was standing looking upset, I hoped I could get him to smile, his smile was so bright it seemed to light up the whole hallway. Devin was handsome, He had golden brown hair, teal eyes that seemed to brightened every time he saw me; he was captain of the Foot Ball team. He was strong but as kind as a lamb. Other than Foot Ball he also was in Band and Chorus. He played a Guitar and he wrote his own music and songs. He may look mean but he cared about the environment, animals and other people/feelings. I ran up to him and said “Hi Devin!” in a perky way. “Hi, Katie” He said in a sad sort of tone. “What’s wrong? Why are you sad?” I was immediately worried, If he was sad I was too. “I was kicked off the Foot Ball team.” He said in a furious tone, just then he slammed the locker and I felt the ground quiver underneath my feet. He turned around and headed to our homeroom, I called “Devin!” He turned around glared at me and growled fiercely “Leave me Alone!” Tears sprang to my eyes. I turned around as he walked through the door. I got my stuff for homeroom and first period class the went and sat next to Devin. He saw that I was crying. He came over and hugged me, “I’m sorry” he whispered softly into my ear. “It’s ok, I guess.” I wept into his shirt and stained it with my tears. I finally stopped crying. In first period, we were sitting in the back and the teacher had his back to us, I passed him a note that said: Do you want to come over to my house today after school? He then wrote: Sure, what are we going to do there? I was hoping we could hangout and talk, maybe we could help each other with homework? Cool I quickly and as quietly as possible closed it and put it in my back pocket. The rest of the day was more of a blur than a learning time; I couldn’t keep my eyes off of Devein. After school Devein and I walked to my house. We talked, about a lot of stuff. I asked him some of his favorites. I asked what his favorite color was-Baby Blue, Type Food-Chinese/Mexican, Favorite Food-STEAK!! He asked me mine, I told him, he seemed very interested and into the questions, He thought hard about what he wanted to ask me, for instance he asked me, “ If I should get you a present what would you like?” I had to think about what I would ask for; I didn’t want to ask for too much, but I asked him “What’s your budget?” He replied instantly “The sky is your limit” I giggled. “No seriously!” “I am serious; there is no limit to what I am willing to give you unless it is not something I can get you like I cannot get you the sky” “Okay, do you promise you won’t laugh or get mad?” I asked suddenly realizing what I wanted, that he could give me. “I promise, no, I SWEAR” We were almost to my house and so I took his arm and stopped and looked into his eyes suddenly blushing,”alright, I want yoThis is only pt. 1 moreResolved Question: Do you think i could learn how to play an acoustic guitar through youtube videos?
