Hi I recently purchased a acoustic electric guitar from the HSN. its an esteban i paid 200 dollars for it, it came with everything from a case an amp and 10 dvds strings picks strap and cloth. I herd a lot of negative reviews for the guitar. I am a begginer i just want to learn to play. do you think that this guitar will be a good one for me? I know people say his guitars are not the best. Im not looking for the best quility in the world guitar, just one that i can learn to play on and sound good.

But I really do want to learn to play the acoustic. So is my guitar a) a good guitar and/or b) would it be considered lame in the guitar world?
It is pretty cheesy looking, but I have fallen in love with its lameness, I just need some professional opinion on whether the cheesyness applies also to it's actual quality as a guitar also.

Ok, my grandfather is in bad health and was givin a new Esteban guitar by my uncle as something to do in his spare time. He has always wanted to learn and I went over to tune it for him, and I'm a novice myself and dont know much about classical guitar but I tuned it with my Korg chromatic tuner and it says its in tune but I played a few chords and it sounded horrible. Do the estaben guitars take a different tuning? Do the classical guitars just have an "off" sound? I'd really like to get this fixed for him. Thanks
