(Like when people say ravers are always high..they're not by the way) As a child i had a hard life because my mom and dad were separated when my twin brother and i were born. We were born 5 months early me at 1lb 7 oz and him at 2lb 9 oz. As a kid i didn't have the best life..my dad was never around and mom was always high. If the seventh grade she left me and my brother home and got arrested for possession. My aunt and uncle adopted us and now our lives are great. To get to the point when i was young i didn't have the best clothes and a lot my aunt and uncle got our nicer stuff for us. Kay, this is weight wise... I am 5'1.3" *although I'm pretty sure I'm 5'2".* 32-34 C (depending on the brand) 115 lbs. 13 years old. My measurements: 33-26-35 I usually wear x-small to small. (I shop at A-eagle, VS PINK, etc.) Or, in jeans, I wear 1-2 in school pants from Aeropostale and 2-4 short in jeans. The reason I'm asking is because, in the last month, I have been 'drained' physically two times, having to miss school. My mom (a pediatrician, retired when she had me) said I'm not eating enough... I've tried to eat healthy and have been losing weight since last year. Am I healthy?Oh, by the way... I DO eat... I eat about 980 calories a day, which is fine by me. No starving. I and a group of friends are trying to screen print stuff for a student organization. We do not want to "customize" stuff in an online flash application- we have made screens for silk screen printing and are looking for quality stuff to print on. Specifically, I would like to buy non-unisex, fashion fit t-shirts and hoodies like the kind of garments available at American Eagle, Aeropostale, etc. I understand that many companies design and fabricate clothing within the company, but there's got to be someone who sells men's hoodies without sleeves that hang halfway down the sides. Voting Question: I have no fashion sense at ALL, any suggestions?

I've been getting along buying hollister and american eagle, but I feel like a clone and I still have no sense of fashion, or any idea what to wear. plus those brands are typical and I want to actually have a STYLE. I know people say pick what you like but if you asked me to pick what I liked, I honestly wouldn't know what I liked. I don't have that sense of what looks good on people I guess. I'm 5 ft. 5 and I'm about average weight, maybe slim. my legs are short so I can't get away with some things that leggy models can. if somebody could just help me out that'd be great. yea anyways this is more of a thing where im just throwing stuff out, you dont need to answer this or anything add comments if you want. I really think my life sucks, my parents decided to have a baby when i turned 13 and my social life wa starting to kick in. now im stuck mnday to thursday watching my sister as my parents work, i barely have time to play sports and need to beg my parents to let me play and get rides. come friday to sunday i usually stay home and do random activities as i have no friends who wnat to hang outside, the rare occasions i do go out with my friends i usually sit around quiet or add a comment or 2. school is a different aspect its a lot happier for me than my home life, but lso depressing as well. my own friends can turn on me at any second and make a mean joke, mainly for me being polish and having an *accent* which i dont have. my friends make fun of other people including my own friend max, and i jon in to feel a small bit of acceptance. im too afraid to get a girlfriend as i wont be able to spend enough time with her because of my sister and my mom would yell at me telling "i am allowing too much for myself" translated from polish, which pretty much means, im done and i cant do w.e i was doing anymore, in this case hang out with a girlfriend. recently ive been starting to get a dont give a fuck attitude and sit there and take any insults, i never study anymore, i dont do anything. my interests are fialing me and my parents are trying to make become something im not. for example my mom doesnt want me to look like a hobo so she buys me all this brand name clothing like american eagle. i dont even like earing it. if i had the choice id wear plain T's and jeans. im afraid to tell her i dont want to wear anything cause she will probably call me an idiot for shunning away stuff thats good for me. and just today my dad wanted me to take a judo class with him tomoro morning, i refused saying i invited my friends over for band practice tomoro and he said if i dont go thier not coming either. this got me thinking today and made me depressed knowing my life isnt great. on a side note, my friends and i made a band but its hard even keeping that together, music is one of the few things i like to do and my parents wont even let me do that, i need to beg them for a band practice at my house (since i drum) and then its only when thier not home or in a good mood. in fact im afraid to ask my parents for anything, knowing my mom she'd yell T me telling me how stupid my decision is or instantly a no and telling me i cant argue with her when i try to prove a point, my dad is a little cooler but he expects too much from me. he wants me to become like him and train some sport and to be the best i can. i feel pressured by him and dont want to refuse anything he tells me. i have respect for him and wouldn want to get on his bad side. now in conclusion you guys may be thinking im so poor sap venting on the internet, well i am, and i could care less, i have some good days but this is not one. post w.e you want i dont care. more

I have an older silver coin that is definitely duller than the brand new ones. When I first received a silver coin years ago, I don't remember it shining that much, even when it was new. So I like this guy who i think may be into my best friend. We are both silly and retarded ,which I think he likes, but I have more of a filter on my mouth then she does. the talon has 160k new head gasket timing belt alternator head work inch exhaust. good clutch but body damage. red 5spd. The VW on the other hand 1.7l motor rebuilt from head up includes: head cleaned resurfaced titanium valve springs (techtonics tuning) TT 272 Camshaft new valve seals all new gaskets new water pump new thermostat new alternator new spark plug wires new belts intake manifold ports cleaned (rebuild took place about 1500 miles ago) also has techtonics 2 1/4" exhaust, flowmaster muffler raceland coilovers drag dr-20 wheels (werk equip replicas), with ohtso 205 50R15 tires, still near brand new fenders rolled, rough job though. rear strut bar interior is really pretty clean, no dash cracks, only tear is a small one in the rear seat. exterior damage is a couple small dents, biggest one is on the hatch, minimal rusting around bottom edges of car. Passenger front blinker is out, as well as one of the bulbs from pass. rear tail. also 5spd grey. I want something reliable and im afraid that the talon is going to give up on me before i get much use out of it, but on the other hand, is the rabbit reliable? ive heard a lot of them breaking down, but ive also heard people absolutely loving them. Resolved Question: Small block chevy, connecting rod bearing clearance?

I purchased a brand new fully balanced rotating assembly from Summit racing. The kit included a new crank and rods by Eagle and Clevite 77 bearings. When checking my bearing clearances with plastigage I'm getting between .001" and .0015" on the rod bearings and between .002" and .0025" on my main bearings. The engine is very difficult to rotate by hand. If I back off the main cap bolts it makes almost no difference in ease of rotation but when I start loosening the rod caps the ability to rotate the engine becomes much easier. Now I see that the recommended rod bearing clearance is .002"-.0025", however I've read some online blogs that say the .001"is ok. Any help here would be appreciated! more

Resolved Question: Need help with a SIG P226...?

I took my brand new P226 out to the range today at lunch for the first time (it's literally brand new, right out of the box). I put 60 rounds through it (four 15-round mags) and the slide would not lock back after the mags emptied. My thumb was not on the slide release lever, and I wasn't limp-wristing. The slide stays back just fine when I do it manually. I suppose I may need to change the spring, but if that's the case than I might have to change my opinion about the quality of SIG's. I'll clean and lube it tonight and try it again tomorrow to see if that helps, but in the event that it does not, are there any suggestions? Preferably, from people who are familiar with SIG's. I've been looking online, and it looks like I'm not the only person who has experienced this problem. P.S. I was shooting 9MM 115 grain American Eagle FMJ (cheap ammo, I know, but I would think that it shouldn't be a problem for a quality gun like a SIG).Scredawg: Yes, they were all factory mags.Thinkingblade: Thanks. I have snapcap's that I've use, and the slide locks back just fine with them. I'm fairly confident that the mags are fine. Also, the gun feeds and ejects rounds perfectly, so I'm leaning towards assuming that the spring is fine also. But I will definitely try different ammo and see if that helps (I'll be very disappointed with SIG if I find out it's ammo sensitive). more

Voting Question: My dog won't eat anything anymore?

My dog is normally a great eater. We are feeding her dry kibbles with a teaspoon of wet food mixed in. She used to be eating Wellness wet-food and she loved it. I went away for winter vacation, and when I came back my mother had switched her all around. My dog's kibble (Eagle Pack Holistic Chicken for Adult Dogs) was the same, but my kept changing the wet food every week or so. Apparently my mom found one the dog really liked, but I'm not sure of the brand, and neither is my mother. Now my dog (Rosie) seems to not eat anything. We took her to my aunt's and brought some Innova wet food with us, and the dog refused to eat it. Rosie normally eats like a champion when she's at my aunt's, so it was incredibly odd. She didn't eat for three days (two meals a day) and began vomiting yellow bile. We let her be and fed her a little rice and kibble for the dinner after she vomited. The next morning she had rice, kibble, and - because we used all the Innova wet food - a bit of "Mighty Dog" (my aunt feeds her dog that brand and we would normally never touch such low-quality food), which she ate because she must've been starving. It seems like she doesn't eat because she's expecting something better, which obviously never comes. I'm in the process of trying to find the brand she loves that my mom had picked out ages ago, but what can I do in the meantime? I don't want "she'll eat when she's hungry" because it seems like she doesn't even do that anymore. Other info: Two years old, 22 lbs, walked daily (30 minutes), played with dailyShe is fed about a cup of dry food at 6:30 AM and 5:00 PM.Look, she couldn't have eaten rat poison. She hasn't been near any rat poison her whole life. And it has been more than five days since she's really eaten the whole bowl of food.She is going to the vet in a few days for a general "checkup" and we'll have some tests done then :) more

Voting Question: Can you help me create a brand-new wardrobe?

I'm gonna be a high school senior next year, and I'm a 5'3" 15 year old that's kinda pale. I wear size M/L in shirts, 9/10/11 in jeans, 7/8 in shoes. So, I'm not a stick but I'm not too chubby. I like bright, bold, amped-up jewel tones && neutrals, and stuff that looks expensive but really isn't. Though if it's like a logo bag, I'd rather buy real than buy five or six knock-offs that break. My usual stores are like Abercrombie, Hollister, American Eagle, American Apparel, Urban Outfitters, Macy's, Kohl's, Juicy Couture, Hot Topic, and thrift stores. Accessories would be amazing if you could find some. I'm trying to purge my closet and start over with a new, sophisticated wardrobe. Kinda like Massie Block's wardrobe from The Clique the Movie or Serena van der Woodsen and Blair Waldorf's from Gossip Girl. Classy, fun, and sophisticated. I am a girl that is 5'11" and it's almost impossible to find jeans that are long enough. Even the jeans that are labeled "long" aren't cutting it :/ so far i have tried the American Eagle, Wet Seal, and some JC Penney jeans. Anybody have suggestions for where to find extra long jeans?? more

Why are teens obsessed with Hollister and American Eagle? I just don't get what it is about the clothes. A lot of the American Eagle stuff has a bunch of random junk like numbers and words that I bet no one understands. And Hollister has shirts like "Men's Finals" and "Varsity Dept" that people probably don't know what they mean either. I'm just curious why teens like to wear clothing from brands such as these and why they are so popular?I also don't understand how teenagers can stand buying expensive clothing with the name all over them. Resolved Question: Marine Corps boot regulations say the boots need the Eagle, Globe and Anchor on the side.?

Hello, according to regulations for the Marine Corps we are allowed pretty much any boot as long as it's a rough-out brown boot, and I believe the minimum height on the boots is 6 or 7 inches. They must have the Eagle, Globe and Anchor stamped on the outer ankle. Now, I wanted to buy some really nice desert boots which fall into the regulation, but don't have the Eagle, Globe and Anchor. I don't want any iron on ink or such like the old uniforms used to use because it would look stupid so I'm wondering if there's some place that sells the brand to burn it on myself or maybe a place that does it for you. LCpl, USMC, MCAS IwakuniI understand most of the replies I got and I think they're very well written thanks. But I probably should have put in more information, like a picture of what I had in mind. Well the boots are made by Altama, a current manufacturer of Marine Corps boots. They actually make the boots I own for daily use.
