I'm new to the green screen process and have the software to do it but need tips and/or details on doing. Want to overlay small models or figures onto but not sure what exactly I need to do this. My video camera is not very good, think 3 or 4mp, but from a couple feet it's not bad. I've got AVS Video Editor, Sony Vegas Pro and Adobe CS4 at my disposal, and also Adobe Visual Communicator that has specific options related to green screen so might be best to use. Not sure about the others. I'm basically just looking to do small items that I manipulate manually and/or through editing. The entire green screen setup will be on a table. Just need pointers from someone who has done this before I try it. I already know the overlay process and can do images with backgrounds removed and animate but I want moving items that are 3D. Like how the Star Wars movies were made before fancy computers I want to do the same, physical moving models and objects except I'll use video editing software to enhance it. more

Hi, When at home, I use Outlook as the email client and messages sent to me at an address like xxx@btinternet.com arrive there fine. When I'm away, I can also get messages via BTYahoo webmail. When I come home again, those incoming messages that I didn't delete are received by Outlook. They all think they're unread, but I can live with that. However, if I send a message via webmail, it does not appear in the appropriate Outlook folder (Sent items), so that folder is incomplete. I can see the sent messages again through webmail, but would like all outgoing as well as incoming messages to get to Outlook. Is there any way of synchronising things? Thanks, Ken G more

Okay, so I got an iPhone 3g about a week ago. I've jailbroken my iPod Touch several times with several different firmwares, and each time I've restored it to un-jailbreak it, my original items have returned. But my Touch obviously doesn't store text messages, or phone information. Also, I never had contacts on my iPod, but clearly do now on the iPhone. If I back it up before trying the jailbreak with this, will everything return how it was if I don't like the jailbreak for it and decide to restore? more

Basically I have three columns in sheet 1: Item Number, Passed, and Failed. In sheet 2 I have four columns: Failed, Yes, Passed, Yes. Every item will either be passed or failed. How can I make it so that when I find out the state of an item (passed or failed) I can just copy the item number into the columns in sheet 2 and it will automatically match the corresponding number in sheet 1 and put a 'YES' in either the 'failed' or 'passed' columns? I think I will have to use vlookup in conjunction with something else but I don't know what? Any ideas? more

I mean, come on! What kind of fighting game is that?!?!? Energy is wasted doing missions (jobs) and you have to wait forever to refill. Every fight is done with a click and game determine who wins a fight based on attack/defense items and gang size, plus you're limited how many fights you can do by stamina. When you level up, you get skill points to raise health, energy, etc which is stupid because it can unbalance the game (heck, and you can't get those skill points back!). Energy and health should raise every level and stay in the same proportion. For fighting games, the missions idea can be tosses away, fighting should be interactive with other online players where you can pick your own moves (which should cost energy). Energy and health should be able to be bought! ...*sigh* I rambled enough about memories from My Heroes Ability.. more

Because I enjoy relaxing at the moment and have always enjoyed relaxing in the past, however, I normally spend my spare time either going on the computer, listening to music, reading or spending time with my family and friends. When I am not relaxing I like to go for long bike rides and I also like to try anything which I have not tried before, although this does depend on what I can do in my town! Although I do not particularly enjoy sport as I am not very good at sports in general, I have started to enjoy walking as I have got older as it gives me time to be by myself and so I normally walk to keep myself in shape and to have time to think. Although I do not eat my favourite type of food or drink my favourite type of drink very often, I love eating anything that is Chinese and drinking any type of Coke! I, however, do know that eating too much Chinese food and drinking too much Coke would be bad for my health as Coke contains a lot of sugar and Chinese food contains a lot of salt, and so this is the main reason for why I do not eat Chinese or drink Coke very often. In the evening after I have had school during the day I normally spend my time doing homework as, after relaxing for a while after coming home from school, I do not (normally) have time for anything else since I have been in the higher years in secondary school. When it is an evening and when I have not had school during the day, however, I am a lot more active and like to spend my time being outside with my friends, particularly in the summer when I like to be outside as much as I can. I did not receive pocket money in the past but I do get pocket money at the moment and have been getting pocket money for a while because I have learnt how to handle money as I have grown up. I, therefore, save my money to spend it on treats for myself and on clothes and other necessary items. The last thing which I bought was a DVD for my dad as one of the presents that I am going to get him for his birthday. As me and my best friend had quite long weeks last week we decided to go on a bike ride on Saturday both to relax as well as to keep fit at the same time. Although I am not entirely sure about what I am going to do in the summer, I know that I am going to spend a lot of time with my family and friends and that I am going to plan for my future by looking for jobs that I might want to do when I am older. After the winning bidder completed checkout and his PayPal payment was sent, he sent me a message telling me he wanted the bonus item and was willing to pay the additional cost. How can I charge him for the bonus item without setting up a seperate auction/ Buy It Now? If I use that work around I run the risk of another eBay user winning the bonus item and having to sell to them instead of the original winning bidder. Is there any way to charge a buyer through eBay or PayPal for the bonus after they already sent the primary payment? more

Open Question: What is some advice for marrying Active Duty Military?

I'll be getting married within the year to my fiance who is an active duty airman stationed in Montana. This whole process is very daunting. We won't be buying any furniture before the wedding because it's too much for me to ship large things from PA (my location) to MT. He will be getting an apartment before I arrive- so once I get there, I'll be able to stay in our place. I plan on shipping the necessary items out before we get there (towels, dishes, silverware, etc) so we can have those ready. I will fly out and we will be doing a JOP marriage in Montana- get our marriage certificate right away and get my military ID, enrolled in DEERS/Tricare & update his marital status- right away. We'll get my name change stuff taken care of as it comes. Honestly- that's the BACKGROUND information, I'm just looking for tips and advice from people who understand this process and could provide me with any insight. I'm a very intense planner, lol- and I want to make sure we have everything taken care of. Here is my big question- I have a majority of our household items already, but as for furniture, we have nothing. We'll get that when we get out there. How much is a decent amount for us to have in savings COMBINED? Military will be covering our apartment and we'll have money left over for savings, etc. I also will not be working right away- so I know there are many factors. Thank you! more
