Lpn Classes In Florida Questions asked
Resolved Question: Do you have to have training to become a Certified Nursing Assistant?
I asked this before and I really didn't get the answer I was looking for maybe I didn't ask it right or thoroughly explain my question so let me try again. I am pursuing to become a Licensed Practical Nurse. I am currently waiting for my financial aid results at Florida Community College at Jacksonville, Fl.So in the meantime I have to wait for everything to clear. I have done my research about what an LPN does and have looked up jobs as in what employers are looking and it says that most health care employers are looking for people that has experience in health care facilities. So i thought about becoming a certified nursing assistant. I know what the responsibilities are for becoming a CNA. My question is...is it required for you to take those training class where you have to dish out about $320-$600 for about a one-six week course I have an aunt who is a CNA but works as a nursing assistant/medical assistant at St. Vincent's Hospital in Jacksonville, Fl. and she is willing to train and show what I need to learn to pass the State Board Exam? I am aware of what CNA's do as well. Basically my question is..is it necessary to takre those expensive course and is becoming a CNA is a good ideal to start you way off and how much are they paid in Jacksonville Fl. moreResolved Question: Workforce One Investment Act?
I am attending a college to become a nurse. So far I've completed most of my prerequisites but it's going to take me 2 years to complete the class and the program. One of my classmates told me that workforce one offers financial assistance and daycare assistance for students who wants to become a LPN or RN. What are the requirements? And the pros and cons of joining? ** I live in Florida. I called Workforce one but they won't give me any info. I was told that I have to attend the orientation but I'm going to school during the orientation hours. moreVoting Question: HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO WAIT TO BE ELIGABLE TO BECOME A LPN?
I AM 22 YEARS OLD. I WAS CHARGED WITH BATTERY IN 2006. IN 2007 I TOOK A COURSE TO BECOME A CNA. AFTER PASSING THE COURSE I HAD TO GO BEFORE THE FLORIDA BOARD OF NURSING BECAUSE OF MY CHARGE. THEY TOLD BE THAT I SHOULD WAIT 2 YEARS AND TRY AGAIN. IT'S BEEN 3 YEARS SINCE I GOT MY BATTERY CHARGE AND I WANT TO TAKE A COUSRE TO BECOME A LPN. I WAS TOLD THAT I COULD NOT GET IT EXPUNGED OR SEALED BECAUSE I WAS FOUND GUILTY... SO WHAT DO I DO? I DON'T WANT TO WASTE MY TIME AGAIN BY TAKING THE CLASS FOR NOTHING OR NOT BEING ABLE TO GET A JOB.THE BATTERY IS A MISDEMEANOR CHARGE. NOT AGAINST A JUVENILE OR ELDERLY PERSON. moreResolved Question: i want to know everything i have to know to become a pediatrician ?
ok so sense im like 5 years old i've wanted to be a doctor . so i've been thinking what can be better than being a pediatrician ? so i was talking to my friend the other day and she tells me " have you thought about the job that you want wile your studying in college + university ?? " and i response " no not really " so she goes " well do u wanna be broke those 10 or so years ? " and then she started explaining to me that there's this "LPN" she really did not know much about it all she told me was that it only was 1 year to study and once i was finished i could win around $18 an hour , and that they were the ones that helped the doctors . So i really think this would be a good idea i just want to know what i need to do and have and a little more about LPNS . Anyways about the pediatrician thing , well right now i am an 8th grader so i need a couple of more years but i want to know everything there is to know about the job . anyways if you guys could also give me any recommendations on the classes i am supposed to pick for my 9th ,10t , 11th , and 12th year of high school so i can start getting ready . My friend also mentioned something about doing community service . Im lost please guys try to help me out here so i can get every thing straight , perhaps anybody that had the same thing in mind as i do ? or a pediatrician him self , tell me what and what not to do in when i actually get a job at a hospital ! gosh i almost forgot , well right now i am living in florida/miami and i also wanted to know any good colleges . I know Miami Dade college but i know its not that good , any colleges that are better than miami dade college here in florida ?? thanks guys :) moreResolved Question: I want to be an RN, but I am worried I may be on the wrong track!?
Okay first off, I am a 28 year old male living in Tampa, FL. I currently attend college for my BSN into Nursing and am attending training classes for my CNA - which also provide opportunities for several certificates. Now, the question is... by taking CNA training classes, then my CNA Test - would this be a better route for me instead of trying to challenge the LPN? In Florida where can I take or prep for the LPN Test or take the LPN Exam? I will have my CNA by January.... moreResolved Question: Anyone have info about lpn to rn program?
I wanted to go to school to be an lpn and then bridging to rn....Does anyone know how long this will take in Florida? I have not taken any prerequisites and I was told that even if I take the lpn program I will still need to take prerequisite classes on top of my nursing classes, so it will take me about 4 years (not counting the year for lpn) moreTop Lpn Classes In Florida Links
