Resolved Question: LPN - (with BS and MA in another field) - What is the best way to get a BSN from here?
Hi - I am currently enrolled in a fast-track (10 month) LPN program. I already have my BS and MA in another field.. I plan to get my BSN in Nursing, and would like to know the fastest way to go about this after receiving my LPN. (I already know that many people think the LPN is a step backwards for someone who already has a college degree. I have even heard this from my instructors. I feel that I need to justify my decision - for me it was the quick 10 months to the end goal - nursing. I would be able to work while pursuing my RN. Also, the cost of the program was affordable.) So, all that left aside.. what is the best next step? Also, I am in Massachusetts, so if anyone has any advice particularly relevant to Mass, that would be hugely helpful!
