Voting Question: Does anyone know where I can get a cheap medical alert wristband?

I am epileptic and want a bracelet so its not in people's faces like a necklace would be but paramedics would know to check. I really want a stretchy wristband for a coupla quid but they don't do those singly. 8th grade white long or short sleeve oxford shirt. (NO POLOS) T-shirts or undershirt that extend past the sleeve of the uniform shirt must be same color as the uniform shirt. Khaki pants (Loose fitted undergarments should been seen). No Shorts or cargo pants. Plain black leather belt. Belt buckles should be small and of a general shape and form. Fabric or metal belts are not allowed. Belts must be buckled at the waist at all times. A belt must be worn if the garment has belt loops. Plain black rubber sole shoes without any designs. Solid black or white shoes strings only. Shoes must be correctly tied. Plain rubber sole boots without any designs are primitted durning the winter months only. No necklaces, bracelets, earrings or pins may be worn. No fad dressing or jewelry. Headbands/head wraps and hats are not allowed. (Except for religious reasons-a note must be provided). Medical Alert bracelets and necklaces are acceptable. more

I'm planning to ask my doctor about this next time I see her, but I thought I'd throw this out here too. I've had asthma since mid february '08. It's mild/moderate persistent [I'm assuming, I've never actually been told by a doctor.] I'm currently taking FloVent HFA 250 mcg two puffs twice daily and Salbutamol [Ventolin/albuterol] HFA 100 mcg two puffs as needed. I'm not sure exactly what it's supposed to say on Medic Alert jewelry. I mean, I know it's supposed to list conditions that might affect you and need medical attention in an emergency, or tell you to check a card that some people carry with them, but what exactly does it say? Is there a symbol for each condition, or a special code, or does it just say "Diabetes"? more

Obviously his condition.... a doctor's name? (What if he changes doctors somewhere down the road, this necklace costs like $60...) Does he put a contact name and phone number?
