Resolved Question: How long must we wait for good news?

'Til the cows come home or...? For years, people have been saying that hell would freeze over before the New Orleans Saints would ever win the Super Bowl. On Sunday, February 7, 2010 The Saints won the Super Bowl. On that same Sunday, Washington D.C. was paralyzed under several feet of snow and the Federal Government was shut down. Well, at least we know where hell is now. more

Resolved Question: Why is the Census Bureau wasting millions of dollars for people who do not do any work?

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Millions-wasted-on-census-as-apf-1237252725.html?x=0 WASHINGTON (AP) -- Were those pricey Super Bowl ads a waste? Maybe not, but paying $3 million to census employees who didn't do any work surely was. more

Resolved Question: Does it worry you that Census 2010 has already wasted millions?? ($300 paychecks for doing nothing)?

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100216/ap_on_bi_ge/us_census_spending_waste;_ylt=AoQfSs4qtfrOt2.aKWPq_4ep_aF4;_ylu=X3oDMTNkMHZsdHAxBGFzc2V0A2FwLzIwMTAwMjE2L3VzX2NlbnN1c19zcGVuZGluZ193YXN0ZQRjY29kZQNtb3N0cG9wdWxhcgRjcG9zAzYEcG9zAzYEc2VjA3luX3RvcF9zdG9yaWVzBHNsawNhdWRpdGZpbmRzdXM- WASHINGTON – The Census Bureau wasted millions of dollars in preparation for its 2010 population count, including thousands of temporary employees who picked up $300 checks without performing work and others who overbilled for travel costs. Federal investigators caution the excessive charges could multiply once the $15 billion headcount begins in earnest next month unless the agency imposes tighter spending controls, according to excerpts of a forthcoming audit obtained by The Associated Press. On a positive note, investigators backed the Census Bureau's decision to spend $133 million on its advertising campaign, saying it was appropriate to boost public awareness. The spending included a $2.5 million Super Bowl spot that some Republicans had criticized as wasteful. The findings by Todd Zinser, the Commerce Department's inspector general, highlight the difficult balancing act for the Census Bureau as it takes on the Herculean task of manually counting the nation's 300 million residents amid a backdrop of record levels of government debt.neocons..............So I assume you supported Obama's push to put the Census under control of the White House instead of the commerce dept??? Since this has NO political implications whatsoever (sarcasm)mlee..........."I can't believe you'd suggest the USA stop keeping census records? Really?" No. I didn't "suggest" we stop keeping census records. I ask if it worried you that the govt. (BEFORE EVEN STARTING) has ALREADY wasted millions of dollars. This does not set a good precedent for the remainder of the Census. more

Resolved Question: Did Brett Favre proved to us that he is indeed, an attention-whore?

I don't care how much money he's got or how great a QB he is, is he an annoying attention-whore? The guy constantly wants to be in the news with all this "oh, I'm retiring, oh wait I change my mind". He is like Terrell Owens cause he loves to be in the media, and I think it is so annoying. I'm glad he lost to the Saints, when he threw that interception to end the game, he proved to us that he is just as reckless as ever. He must stare at himself in mirror for hours, cause he is an attention-whore, period. I pick Kurt Warner over this loser anytime cause he got a better playoff record and had been to the Super Bowl 3 times in his career. Screw Brett Favre.Nate, nobody respects Brett Favre, even you don't cause you love sucking his rod, and my team always beat the crap out of Favre everytime he plays against us. more

Resolved Question: Another Democrat bites the dust.?

Here is th story you might find interesting. I did: . http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_illinois_democratic_nightmare While I will be the first to admit that this is a problem that can affect Republicans and Democrats alike, I do believe personally that it is more common on the Democrats side of the aisle. (And I may be wrong!) But either way, it is something that happens all too often to career politicians. I believe that a career in politics tends to give some people an over blown sense of power and ego. Perhaps if we were to pass laws that limited the number of years a person could serve in an elected federal office it would cut back on this? What do you think? Can you believe this guy? He resigns in a bar during the Super Bowl half time show! Talk about trying to avoid news coverage! This has got to be a new low. He was not trying to avoid the cameras when he was running for the Democratic nomination for Lieutenant Governor of Illinois. But boy is he trying to now! Here is a quote from the article for you guys too lazy to read the entire story: “Since Cohen won the Democratic nomination on Tuesday, it has become widely known that he was accused of abusing his ex-wife and holding a knife to the throat of an ex-girlfriend — a woman who was herself charged with prostitution. He also admits using steroids in the past.” “Chicago Politics” at it’s best! How do you feel about all of this? Is it more common in one party than the other? What can we do to weed out these scumbags? Why don’t the parties check for crap like this themselves earlier on in the nomination process? All I know for sure is that there is way to much of this crap! more

Resolved Question: Yahoo! Calls "Aints" America's Team?!?

From President Barack Obama to a Queen, from Mr. Big to Miss America, the retired All-Pro had lots of company. For one game, the Saints are America's Team. "This is very important to the city," Faulk said. "For the last five, maybe 10 years, whether it's Katrina, or the crime rate, the city's always in a bad light. Now ... you're getting to see some of the great things that we have to offer." This is complete bullshit and I'm sick of this 'victim card' the Saints are using. "Please cheer for us, we had a hurricane once." Now they want to label the Saints that stupid title of America's team. How low can these people go for mere support? http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100207/ap_on_sp_fo_ne/fbn_super_bowl_america_s_team more

Resolved Question: With the current deficit, is t really worth spending 2.5 million for a superbowl ad?

Obama's administration is spending 2.5 million dollars for a Superbowl ad to tell us to fill out the census. They are also spending a total of 344 million to tell people to fill out the census. Is this really necessary spending? Do they think the American people are so stupid they won't know what the census is when it comes in the mail? BTW the first question on the census is to give out your phone number. Resolved Question: Floyd signed-- I knew he would-- and it had to be this week, in time for using the super bowl to promote?

http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/boxing/news/story?id=4884208and i would agree with bert sugar-- floyd got this fight.the super bowl promo was done before-- for the floyd vs dela hoya fight. schaefer wanted to do this again: http://www.boxingscene.com/?m=show&id=25082ellerbe said floyd's signature is a formality last week. then schaefer released a statement that he is frustrated by floyd's delaying-- i thought this was fishy because GBP is promoting floyd-- this must have been some form of negative publicity. schaefer already mentioned the super bowl, so i was certain floyd has to sign this week. plus, the real piece of the puzzle that gives it away, is that, dela hoya has been scheming a floyd vs mosley fight since the marquez bout. dela hoya paid floyd's IRS debts-- this is like an advance payment in boxing (dela hoya is the new don king). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uKwzypnb0GY&feature=channelaside from the fact that mosley is old (turning 39 therefore not in his prime in any boxing era-- except in the future when people are like teenagers till they're 50)-- this fight is a perfect set up for floyd. come on, the mayweathers may be criminals but they do know they're boxing. more

Resolved Question: OK now I am really confused - LED, LCD TV ?

The so-called "electonics" expert on the morning news program was going over big screen TVs (with super bowl coming up, etc etc) - and he showed a new LG that was what he refered to as "LED" (light emmitting diode I believe that stands for) - So the host said is that better or worse picture quality than Plasma - of course the general consensus is Plasma is not quite as good on pic quality, and has trouble with deep dark colors and Black color in particular. Fine... But then she said, "OK whats the difference between LED and LCD big screen TV's ?" The expert guy says nothing, he said they are the same thing, its an "interchangeable term" for that type of TV. I had been told that the brand new technology just coming out lately on big TVs is the LED - and that LCDs (liquid crystal displays, which is what I have right now) are middle ground pic quality now. And I was told that LED was a different display type than LCD. Kept hearing that "the new LED tv's are even better pic quality than the LCD's". So what is the situation, can a video expert please explain - are LED and LCD the same - that just does not make sense to me they are the same thing, it would seem that its a totally different principal and different technology in my mind. Thanks. more

Voting Question: Pro-life commercial approved during Super Bowl. Why are Women's Groups Furious?

When I watched the two sides square off on the news. The largest impression I received was how the Women's Advocate never mentioned the father. Her stand is abortion is between a woman, her doctor and her faith. Are Men just there to be Sperm Banks and the ATM Machines these women milk an extra income off? How is it that the Father isn't even a slight factor, worth even mentioning in the decision to terminate his child? Women's groups have had an unlimited free flow of Propaganda always so why are they furious when someone else promotes a different or Pro-life opinion? more

Resolved Question: How can a pro-life commercial during the superbowl take away a woman's right to choose ?

I have heard this recent controversy of the superbowl commercial : http://www.politicsdaily.com/2010/01/19/tim-tebow-to-star-in-pro-life-super-bowl-commercial/ If you don't want to click the link, her is the basic run down. A football star was born to a teenage mother who had seriously considered abortion. Now they want to release a commercial during the superbowl celebrating his life and the choice his mother made to carry him full term. I sat down tonight listening to an advocate on CNN arguing with the news anchor that this commercial is trying to "take away the mother's right to choose." I fail to see how a commercial that encourages one choice, prevents you from making your own choice. It is just as if she said that a Republican commercial infringes on the rights of Democrats, or vice versa. Isn't argument and persuation a part of democracy. If the ablilty of a woman to choose, was truly this woman's agenda, then why should she be so offended at a commercial which advocates one choice. Shouldn't those who are of the view that any child conceived should be born, have just as much platform to push their agenda, as those who believe an unwanted child should not be born into misery have to push their agenda ? more

Resolved Question: My husband puts his family first and me last?

I got married a couple months ago. Right before the wedding I found out some unsettling news due to the fact my fiance had lied to me about something serious. As the wedding was two days away, I looked past it at the time and he promised he'd change. He has ALWAYS put his family before me-- they hate me and have been straight rude to me and he's never stood up for me. He also promised me this would change because I said as his wife I feel I deserve priority. Last night we were having dinner with his family and his grand mother invited us to a superbowl party, I said that it sounded nice and would it be okay if my father came as well. All of them know that my father pretty much raised me during my teen years, lives alone, and I am VERY close to him AND that we always watch the super bowl together. The grandmother, in front of my husband as well, said no he cannot come. It was kind of the last straw for me, I stayed quiet the rest of the evening and when we left, I told my husband that the story never changes-- his family is rude to me, he doesn't care enough about me or our marriage to ever stand up for me and I am considering leaving him. Any advice? more

Voting Question: Why won't they have any 12-channel national telethon to help the poor in America?

I understand that Haiti is in dire straights, but much of America has been treating this like a media obsession, and as soon as the Super Bowl returns it'll be forgotten after the next big news story in the public consciousness. There are chronic conditions in the US, mainly the crumbling economy (which relates to poverty) and corrupt conservative and DINO (democrat in name only, blue dogs dems, etc) politicians stopping health care reform, allowing large executive bonuses for bailed out companies, etc. Why won't there be any telethons to address those? Heck, if any future disasters happen in a foreign nation, an America with less impoverished people and less political corruption would be better equipped to help that nation. more

Resolved Question: Did Pacquiao destroyed Floyd Mayweather career without landing a punch?

Without landing a punch, Manny Pacquiao might have destroyed the career of Floyd Mayweather. Reported to be short on money and options, Floyd Mayweather’s career may be in peril. HBO is not going to spend multi-millions for any more of Floyd’s garbage fights. HBO surely cannot be pleased as the network was very very eager and excited to stage Pacquiao-Mayweather I and II. Everybody in the boxing world should realize Floyd has a horrible bargaining position now. The next rumored handpick Matthew Hatton should realize he can call the shots. Matthew Hatton should know, like everyone knows, Floyd has inflicted irreparable damage to himself and his reputation with his actions over the last few weeks. Matthew Hatton should be aware of the fact that Floyd and Golden Boy want to use him as a sacrificial lamb, as they seek to try to cash in with Floyd in the U.K. next, because they know Floyd is and never was an attraction, on his own, in the U.S. Therefore Matthew Hatton is the carefully selected handpick. If Matthew Hatton is smart and saavy and his own man – and not under the complete control of Golden Boy – he should demand 50-50% parity with Floyd, as Matthew Hatton can say he is the draw in England and since Floyd shamed himself as a coward by ducking Pacquiao, Floyd has to regain his credibility with the public at his own expense and not Matthew Hatton’s expense. But then again, Matthew Hatton might be under complete total control of whatever Golden Boy wants to use him for. All of the boxing world must know that Floyd Mayweather is not in position to call the shots anymore. He has reported money problems. He has to be worrying about the potentially devastating lawsuit that’s coming. His public approval rating has plummeted – and it was never very high to begin with. The truth is Richard Schaefer and Oscar are not in any position to make hefty demands on behalf of their diminishing valued asset of Floyd. Conversely, they are going to have to accept whatever they can get. Every potential opponent who is approached by Floyd, Haymon or Schaefer – to be used as a punching bag or cheap sparring partner – is in perfect position to play hardball. And the good news in this is that the harder Golden Boy, Schaefer, Haymon and Floyd find it to take advantage of the dumb, and to cash in on the foolish, the more likely it will be possible for the Super Bowl of Boxing to take place later this year. Matthew James Hatton (born 15 May 1981 in Stockport), is a professional boxer, using the nickname "Magic". He is a welterweight, and is a former Commonwealth title challenger. He is the younger brother of World Champion boxer Ricky Hatton, and has fought on the undercard of many of Ricky's biggest fights. Resolved Question: Haha funny joke for you all!?

Just so you know Edinburg, TX is the #1 most dangerous place to live in the US. One day a football coach was making the best football team there was in Edinburg, TX, he gathered the best players from all around the world, but he was missing a quarterback. He was watching tv one day and he flipped to the news, he sees a man in war throwing a grenade into a building at least 200 feet away. Kapow! He hits it right where he was aiming for and he throws another one, boom! Right in a window. The coach thought to himself, Man, I need to get this guy on the team, so he flew to Afghanistan picked up this man and brought him back to Edinburg. After having the coach's team win the superbowl, the Afghanistani man from the war called his mother, Man: Mom! i have just won the superbowl! Mom: The WHAT? Man: The super bowl mom, it is an important game in America. Mom: Is that all you care about? Today your father got shot, your brother was an inch away from his life and i have to keep your sister in a room so she does not get raped! I will never forgive you for making us move to Edinburg! Do you get it?It's ok, it's much funnier when my dad reads it, I'm not much of a joke teller. more

Resolved Question: No offense, but do you think Captain Sully Sullenberger (the NY pilot) should get out of the news already?

I mean, I KNOW he did an awesome job saving all those people by diverting the falling plane into the Hudson River, but that was a while ago. And a bunch of things have happened since then. But THAT GUY IS EVERYWHERE! He's on CNN. He's on NBC. He's on the Daily Show. He's on the NFL Super Bowl. And now he's leading the 2010 Rose Bowl! http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/01/01/AR2010010100305.html?hpid=moreheadlines LEAVE ALREADY!!!! more

Resolved Question: Giants-Jets will submit proposal for their new Stadium to host the 2014 Super Bowl which will make it->?

The 1st Stadium to host a Super Bowl in cold weather(Without a roof of course) Youe thoughts on this & do you think it will happen?-> Jets, Giants want new home to host 2014 Super Bowl EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP)—The Giants and Jets want to bring the Super Bowl to their new stadium in New Jersey in 2014. After receiving approval from a league committee to bid on an NFL title game, the teams announced on Thursday that they will submit a proposal to host what would be a cold weather title game in four years. The new 82,500-seat stadium is scheduled to open next year. The NFL owners’ Super Bowl Advisory Committee allowed the bid despite the traditional requirement that host regions have a minimum temperature of 50 degrees or indoor stadiums. The advisory committee gave approval with the understanding that the bid represents a unique, once-only circumstance to celebrate the new stadium and the great heritage of the NFL in the New York region. The New Meadowlands Stadium Company, which is building the new stadium, has to submit a preliminary proposal to the NFL by April 1. The winning bid will be announced at the end of May. “It’s time for the biggest game in football to be played on the biggest stage in the world,” Jets owner Woody Johnson and Giants co-owner Jonathan Tisch said in a joint statement as chairmen of the bid committee. “We are confident that the appeal and prestige of the New York City metropolitan region, coupled with the innovative capabilities of our brand-new state-of-the-art facility, can provide a unique and exciting experience for the teams and fans, as well as the entire league and the sport of football. “And, of course, we would love to bring the Super Bowl and its significant economic benefits to New York and northern New Jersey,” they added. A New York/New Jersey Super Bowl would generate hundreds of millions of dollars in economic activity, and serve as a major boost for the area, creating hundreds of jobs related to staging the game, the teams said. Resolved Question: How did Reggie Bush make Kim Kardashian cry?

On Thursday December 10th, E! News said on their nightly news show with Ryan Seacrest & Giuliana Rancic they teased about the Friday December 11th show that Reggie made Kim cry. I didn't catch the show and can't find anything about it. My GUESS: My SAINTS are 13-0, going to the Super Bowl and he doesn't have time for her bull$***. Thanks more

Resolved Question: BCS=DISGUSTING!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

I can't believe 3 teams that finished undefeated are being left out. I just don't understand how anyone could approve of the BCS. I was reading an interview with the BCS commissioner in Sporting News and his reason for not having a playoff was the experiences they have on the Bowl trip and hanging out with teammates among other things is a once in a life time experience. Those comments did not surprise me because since college football has existed, bowls were not made to name champions they were made for celebrations of great seasons. Why else would none of the major bowl games not be in the midwest? Credible sports have all had national champions in the Midwest. Detroit has hosted the super bowl and the Final 4. College football would stand far and above almost every sport if it had a playoff. What are your thoughts?I'll go out in say it. I'm a Michigan fan. more

Resolved Question: Is anyone else pleasantly surprised by Big Ben?

for all his haters, he is leading the NFL in passing yards, # 4 in passer rating "After throwing for 417 yards Sunday while beating Cleveland 27-14 for the most by any Pittsburgh quarterback during a victory, Roethlisberger leads the NFL with 1,887 yards passing, 77 more than Houston’s Matt Schaub(notes). Roethlisberger also is No. 2 in completion percentage (72.5), No. 2 in yards per game (314.5) and No. 4 in passer rating (104.5)." http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ap-bigbensbigarm&prov=ap&type=lgns Steelers n Saints in the Super BowlI was just curious because of all the bad mouthing he gets on here from his haters I never said he's the best, but he does do a good job of closing games. and should be considered in the top 5. more

Resolved Question: Chargers,Jaguars,Vikings,Rams & Raiders Among NFL Teams that Could Move to LA?

John Semcken has officially announced his hit list for NFL franchises to lure to Los Angeles, and it looks like the L.A. Times guessed right: Semcken said new talks would begin after the Super Bowl in February, and may involve the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Buffalo Bills, the Minnesota Vikings, the St. Louis Rams, the Chargers and the Oakland Raiders. The San Francisco 49ers could also be pursued if a vote for a new stadium in Santa Clara fails. Semcken said a new stadium could open in 2013, but a team could be relocated as early as next year or the year after, playing at a temporary site for the first couple of years. In related news, Majestic owner Ed Roski has lost $1 billion of his $2.5 billion net worth in the last year, according to Forbes, thanks to the California real estate crash. Stadium consultant Marc Ganis calls this "significant"; Majestic says it's just a flesh wound.http://laist.com/2009/10/07/chargers_jaguars_vikings_rams_raide.phphttp://www.fieldofschemes.com/news/archives/2009/10/3863_la_developers_t.htmlBob,It will be built in city of industry by 2013.The stadium already has been approved. more

Resolved Question: Do you agree with Rawalpindi Express comments about India for CT 2009?

Akhtar: I want India to reach semis Out-of-favour Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar wants arch-rival India to reach the semifinal of the ICC Champions Trophy. "I would like to see India qualify for the semi-finals because their presence will make the tournament more interesting and colorful and we might even end up with a Indo-Pak final which could be a super boost for one-day cricket," Shoaib said on news channel on Tuesday. "India team is short on confidence" Akhtar, who was not picked for the Champions Trophy, said India could beat West Indies by a big margin and qualify for the semi-finals despite their disappointing form. "There is no doubt that at the moment India is short on confidence and Pakistan is high on confidence. But India can change things. "India are capable of beating the under strength West Indian side by a margin of more than 100 runs. And if they qualify for the semi-finals I think we will see a totally different Indian team in the knockout stage," he said. Akhtar said India could become a danger for the other teams if they reach the semi finals as their body language and performances would definitely change for better and they would be a different side in the knockout stage. "Naturally I would love to see Pakistan win the Champions Trophy because that is my team but India must also remain in the competition because they bring value to the competition," he said. Akhtar said it was ironic that Indian fans were praying for the success of the Pakistan team against Australia so that their team could have a chance of qualifying for the semi finals. "This is why they say cricket is a funny old game," he joked. Akhtar said it was important for Pakistan to continue their winning momentum against Australia on Wednesday as beating a top side upped the morale of any team. "I think tomorrow's match will decide whether Pakistan has the ability to go all the way to win the tournament," he added. Akhtar also felt that Pakistan needed to rest pacer, Umar Gul against Australia since he was looking tired and needed a well deserved rest. "I just fear if they persist with him he can break down in coming series," he said. Akhtar felt off-spinner Saeed Ajmal was still not being properly utilised yet and he could play a decisive role against Australia. "The Australians don't like him and the best way to disturb them is to give Saeed a leading bowling role in the match," he said I disagree bc of 2003 and Tendulkar's remarks abt Pakistan..however, then again PK should win with a high morale which i agree.tru not on our hands..but with prayer maybe D: Thx Len Anders and everyone. more

Resolved Question: Did anyone hear or see the Rich Gannon diss by the Oakland Raiders?

The Raiders executive John Herrera, Raiders said that Rich Gannon should have been lucky to work for a team like the Raiders. All Gannon did while he was there was win the 2002 MVP, get the Raiders to the Super Bowl, and make the Raiders meaningful again. Prior to 1999 season, the Raiders were a bad team for many years. This piss me off that the team I have cheered for really all my life would do this to one of the best QB in the history of the team. Just because he is doing his job and telling it like it is. Everyone knows the Raiders are bad and have made bad decisions but to do this to rich is stupid. It makes me question my royalty to the Raiders. Resolved Question: check out the link and some of my predictions?

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/preview09/news/story?id=4424374 A little heads up on what the ESPN experts are thinking. BTW none of them pick an NFC team to win the super bowl. I just saw New England, Pittsburgh, or San Diego. Pretty interesting. I'm still stubbed on Seattle. No running game. Aging o-line. Good quarterback. Good depth in the linebacking core. decent up from on the d-line. questionable coverage. should be interesting since a banged up team (injury wise) went 4-12 last year and apparently is getting some love to win the division. of course! dallas is getting love. They have talent on each side, but the head coach is questionable. so is the quarterback toughness. he gets rocked in december-january. boyz havent gotten a playoff win since 96 and they're getting some love to go to the SB? umm thats kinda weird. oh and by the way, their division is hard as crap besides washington. idc that they paid albert haynesworth 100 mil to stick his fat @zz up the gut, they aren't going to make much noise. I like where Philly is going. good draft. great run towards the end of the season. I think McNabb rises to the top and makes his way to the superbowl. Or at least they're capable. (btw r.i.p. jim johnson) how bout the NFC north. now the qbs arrived. last year that division was down right sorry besides the vikings. Farve in Minnesota. Cutler in Chicago. A Rodgers in the Bay. i say the vikings take it, but if the 3-4 actually works in Green Bay, look out. its a young and promising defense. and how about the nfc south. lets just say the bucs are not in the talks. too many questions at qb, or for any fact, on offense. defense has aged and is rebuilding. Rest of the teams have offense. Saints have questions at running back. Reggie Bush flat out should be a punt returner/ WR in the NFL. thats it. he shouldnt be a running back. delhomo is a question. will he bounce back from a terrible playoff performance? i think he will. but the schedule is brutal. 9-7. and how about my falcons. tony g, matt ryan, michael turner, norwood, roddy white, jenkins, a beasty o-line. we're solid on offense. i hear a bunch of crap about our 24th defense in the league in yards allowed. guess who gave up 20.3 points per game , 11th in the NFL? yep. you hear the term bend but not break. afc south should be brutal. we can already tell the titans will be ready to play each week. they have defense, and justin gage has obviously grown as a receiver. and adding nate washington should help. and they just lost. they're still good. chris johnson is a freak. lendale white is like michael turner jr. well they played well. so close. obviously they'll work on formations because of all the penalties, lol colts have new coaching, but i expect them to make the playoffs again. addai returns, interesting how he'll play. will we see the joseph from the super bowl? or the one that pretty much disappointed last year.. idk. peyton manning is a winner. he'll carry them. jacksonville went 5-11 last year. they are probably the most unpredictable team out there. MJD is a beast. no fred taylor though. if garrard can return to his 2007 form where he threw like what, 3 picks? they'll be good on offense. torry holt signed with them, right? jerry porter can still play some ball. we'll see how the defense holds up. cant get any more injuries. Houston. we'll be able to tell whether they're pretender/contender. they play a rookie qb, who played only one full season in college. thomas jones is decent but containable. mario williams should have a field day. jets added alec flaneca though. idk. i see the jets go along the lines of 6-10. Houston will probably hit 8-8 again. Tom Brady returns. Look out. New England lost a lot on defense. they can still hold up though. belicheck is a genius. I can't imagine them in the SB though, with what all they lost. Ravens destroyed the wildcat last year, people will view the tape and miami will fall. 9-7 at tops for the phins. Pennington will underachieve, just lyke he always does after a good season. speaking of the ravens, they'll be back in the playoffs. rex ryan is gone, but the defense is still beasty. i like what harbough is doing. Flacco will return even better. they're running game is good, too. steelers. of course they'll be afc north champs. awfulburgher will some how slip out of a jam and win ball games, like always. their defense saves his @zz more than you can imagine. all of chad's talks and t.o. workouts won't pay off. bengals and bills will be garbage. only possiblity for either team would be fantastic QB play and some tough D. you can get the fantastic play out of palmer, maybeee edwards but their defenses aren't ready. browns will suck. quinn will sit in time out LOL chargers take the west with ease... 11-5 maybe? oakland looked good towards the end but come on. al davis owns them. they wont win more than 6 games. denver is screwed more
