I am looking to install a Blaupunkt stero in my car and get rid of my factory monsoon stereo i have now. When i got to Crutchfield to customize it out it tells me that for any aftermarket radio i put in i need this PAC Conveter http://www.crutchfield.com/p_127C2RVW/PAC-Volkswagen-Radio-Replacement-Interface.html?tp=3486 that goes for 130 dollars. When i search other VW Fourms i have not seen any posts about this. Do i really need this or can i just get a simple converter for 25 dollars. Resolved Question: Blaupunkt stereo system for 2003 Ford Focus?

Today in the car my mom's preset radio stations became all jumbled and what not. As we were fixing them, she noticed that if the display was showing the name of the song or the artist and she set the preset, it would show as the name of the song or artist; she didn't want that. So we fooled around with it. When you set a radio station to one of the presets, there's a beeping noise to let you know you've done it correctly. Well, when I was trying to get the display to show the radio station as the preset, I double pressed and held the button. There was a beep, longer than usual, and now the whole system has a mind of its own. It does what it wants, when it wants. The display and the music go out, then come back on, over and over. You can't even shut it off or control the volume. If we somehow get it to shut off, once we turn it back on it does the same thing. Right now it's off, sitting in the drive way. My mom is very upset with me. I understand this is probably a difficult problem to help me with if you can't work on it in person, but I'm just being hopelessly optimistic. i sent my amplifier to be install, but I have added two small speakers to the amplifier myself, but the green light turns off now everytime I put the bass high, and when I turn it doen the light goes green again. Like the amplifier turns off in other words. Hi, I have a Clarion PU-2325a(b) (Not a Blaupunkt) car stereo in my Peugeot 206. The incorrect code had been entered and the radio locked. I now have the right code (from a sticker on the radio and service book) :) However, the screen constantly says 7 ERROR and it wont let me put in any code. Does anyone know what this means? How can I get the radio to show the screen to enter the code? Many people say leave the ignition and and radio on for times ranging from 1-2 hrs. hi, I have Peugeot 307S 1.6 2007. I installed amplifier with sub woofer, but the original player reads only Audio files (Standard Audio CD) and it seems to be bad quality (the radio sounds better lol). So i was thinking to get some cd changer but the ones from Blaupunkt are "in-dash". I heard there are some cd changers called Add-on or FM... I was messing around with some settings on my radio and it no longer recognizes my iPod. I change the source to what should be the aux input, and it shows Magazine and then goes back to the radio. Does anybody know how to reset the head unit to the factory settings? If possible, I would like to not have to disconnect my battery, as I don't have the right tools with me. I have a Blaupunkt Car 2003 stereo in my car, I had to change my car battery recently and it messed up my stereo, no problem right? just put the code in WRONG! The stupid thing won't let me put the code in. I am following the sequence to get the code display up but my stereo isn't recognising the sequence: Turn radio off press and hold AS key turn radio on wait for confirmation beep enter code press AS At first I was getting a confirmation beep but then nothing else was happening, no display screen for code entry. Now I am getting nothing at all no beep, no nothing the screen just stays the same regardless of what I press!! I need music in my car!
