Roy and Rev. Dr. Joseph Geronimo, Jr.) is a prolific pro se litigant who, since at least the early 1990s, has filed numerous lawsuits throughout the United States and its territories under the names Roy and Joseph Geronimo, Jr., as well as under the names of entities that he is affiliated with, including International Siva Consciousness & World Religions, Reforms International, Handicap Interests International, and Jungle Democracy. Roy's lawsuits are often brought against multiple defendants, and feature long, unconventional complaints. Roy has filed lawsuits against God, U.S. Presidents, Supreme Court Justices, fast food restaurants, foreign leaders., and . Roy's lawsuits have addressed, among many other things, actions taken by President George W. Bush, overcharging by telecommunication companies, the appointment of Chief Justice John Roberts to the Supreme Court, and "failure of democratic societies and God's role therein." In 2006 Judge Michael W. McConnell of The United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit described a typical Roy complaint: Roy, a/k/a Joseph Geronimo, Jr. filed a 115-page complaint, a 144-page amended complaint, and a 40-page second amended complaint against over sixty defendants, including among many others President Bush, God as U.S.-based divine benefactor, several government agencies, The New York Times, and Kentucky Fried Chicken. In addition to pages of rambling discourse, the complaint contains numerous illegible handwritten remarks. The Tenth Circuit went on to affirm the dismissal of the complaint holding that no discernible claim was apparent from the complaint. Judge McConnell also humorously noted that the court "strongly suspect at least one defendant was not properly served." Most, if not all, of Roy's complaints have been dismissed. A 2006 United States District Court for the District of Delaware opinion, Jungle Democracy v. U.S., describes Roy as "no stranger to litigation" and provides a partial list of Roy lawsuits that have been dismissed since 1991. Despite Roy's lack of success in the courts, his lawsuits have been discussed in law school classrooms and in law related blogs. In April 2007 Roy filed a civil rights action against, among others, CBS Broadcasting Inc., MSNBC, the United States Government, and controversial radio shock jock Don Imus. In October 2007, Roy filed a suit in the US District Court, Middle District of Florida, against " Encyclopedia, USA, All News Media, All State Board of Elections, Federal Election Commission". Please help.?
A few weeks ago Stephen Fry read a poem on Jarvis Cockers Sunday afternoon radio show on 6music. It was writen, I think, by a scientist. It was about what life would be like if we had all our experiences in separate, individual pieces, eg you would suffer unimaginable pain for 3 hours, sleep constantly for 16 years, experience unbridled joy for 18 months, would be lost for 21 days. You would vomit for half a day and experience orgasm for the other half day etc... This is not exactly from the piece but is kind of how I remember it to be like. My girlfriend and I loved it and would like it read at our wedding in March. On her radio show, Dr Laura Schlesinger said that, as an observant Orthodox Jew, homosexuality is an abomination according to Leviticus 18:22 and cannot be condoned under any circumstance. The following response is an open letter to Dr. Laura, penned by a US resident, which was posted on the Internet. It's funny, as well as informative: Dear Dr. Laura: Thank you for doing so much to educate people regarding God's Law. I have learned a great deal from your show, and try to share that knowledge with as many people as I can. When someone tries to defend the homosexual lifestyle, for example, I simply remind them that Leviticus 18:22 clearly states it to be an abomination. ... End of debate. I do need some advice from you, however, regarding some other elements of God's Law and how to follow them. 1. When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates a pleasing odor for the Lord - Lev.1:9. The problem is my neighbors. They claim the odor is not pleasing to them. Should I smite them? 2. I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as sanctioned in Exodus 21:7. In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair price for her? 3. I know that I am allowed no contact with a woman while she is in her period of menstrual cleanliness - Lev.15: 19-24. The problem is how do I tell? I have tried asking, but most women take offense. 4. Lev. 25:44 states that I may indeed possess slaves, both male and female, provided they are purchased from neighboring nations. A friend of mine claims that this applies to Mexicans, but not Canadians. Can you clarify? Why can't I own Canadians? 5. I have a neighbor who insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2. The passage clearly states he should be put to death. Am I morally obligated to kill him myself? 6. A friend of mine feels that even though eating shellfish is an abomination - Lev. 11:10, it is a lesser abomination than homosexuality. I don't agree. Can you settle this? Are there 'degrees' of abomination? 7. Lev. 21:20 states that I may not approach the altar of God if I have a defect in my sight. I have to admit that I wear reading glasses. Does my vision have to be 20/20, or is there some wiggle room here? 8. Most of my male friends get their hair trimmed, including the hair around their temples, even though this is expressly forbidden by Lev.19:27. How should they die? 9. I know from Lev. 11:6-8 that touching the skin of a dead pig makes me unclean, but may I still play football if I wear gloves? 10. My uncle has a farm. He violates Lev. 19:19 by planting two different crops in the same field, as does his wife by wearing garments made of two different kinds of thread (cotton/polyester blend). He also tends to curse and blaspheme a lot. Is it really necessary that we go to all the trouble of getting the whole town together to stone them? -> Lev.24:10-16. Couldn't we just burn them to death at a private family affair like we do with people who sleep with their in-laws? (Lev. 20:14) I know you have studied these things extensively and thus enjoy considerable expertise in such matters, so I am confident you can help. Jan 23, 2010 In a joint interview on a Pittsburgh radio station, Democratic Sen. Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania told conservative Republican Rep. Michele Bachmann of Minnesota that she should "act Like a lady." You can listen to the exchange here: http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2010/01/21/specter_tells_bachmann_to_act_like_a_lady.html As the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports, Specter's comments came amid a contentious exchange on 1210 AM's Dom Giordano Show. After Bachmann spoke at length, Specter started to respond and Bachmann interjected. Specter then asked Bachmann to "stop interrupting," stating, "I didn't interrupt you." "Now, wait a minute, I'll stop and you can talk," he said. "I'll treat you like a lady. Now act like one." "Well, I am a lady," Bachmann replied. After the two bickered further, Specter again says Bachmann should "act like a lady." When Bachmann again states that she is a lady, Specter replies, "I think you are too, that's why I'm treating you like one. But just don't interrupt me." Specter later complains that Bachmann, who insisted she voted for "prosperity" when Specter asked her about a specific vote, is "talking from talking points." Writes Glenn Thrush: "Bachmann is hardly a beloved figure in Democratic circles. But how many liberal women, whom Specter badly needs to defeat front-running Pat Toomey, would appreciate being told to 'act like a lady' by a male debate partner?" Specter, a Republican-turned-Democrat, is trailing Republican Pat Toomey 49 percent to 40 percent in the Pennsylvania Senate fight, according to a new Rassmussen Poll. In a similar confrontation on 8/11/09... Senator Specter with microphone in hand tried to talk over and talk down an angry constituent protesting health care reform (as proposed) at a town hall meeting in his district, commanding in similar fashion, "Now WAIT a minute! WAIT a minute! WAIT a minute! Do you want to be led out of here?!" See that clip here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mXua4Wd7O-U Apparently Senator Specter has come to be a lightening rod for these kinds of confrontations and has a real issue with others who try to participate in the debate unless Specter gets to control and lead it with only his rhetoric. Now he is inviting the ire of women who may find his commands to Representative Michele Bachman to "Act like a Lady" to be sexist. So is Specter digging his own grave at the upcoming election with these heated exchanges he keeps try to control and cast asunder? How would you recommend he handle objections to his policies and those he promotes as a Democrat and a voting member of the Senate? ------------- Information for this question was drawn in part from http://www.cbsnews.com/blogs/2010/01/21/politics/politicalhotsheet/entry6126494.shtml[Correction: Posting date is 1/22/10] moreResolved Question: Inspired by another Question, How do you guys remember all of the Codes?

I thought I knew more than this about electromagnetic radiation... I even had to educate my 8th grade teacher on the idea that higher energy output means lower frequency (he marked it wrong)... Now I'm 21 years old and I never stopped learning and I thought I had this thing understood... cell phones use microwave radiation, the same kind emitted in kilowatt levels in radio towers where technicians climb up to make maintenance/repairs, and the same kind that has never been conclusively shown to do any damage at any level... and why the constant use of the term "radiation"??? this term evokes images of gamma rays and x-rays, the ones that are actually harmful. When you really get down to it, however, even visible light can be called radiation, and nobody is issuing consumer reports about light bulbs, not even the new florescent light bulbs that emit a lot of UV light, and UV light HAS been linked to cancer... So long question short... what am I missing here? Do cell phones have some source of uranium that I am unaware of?OK, correction, microwave radiation can boil you inside out at a high enough level, but it has never been linked to long term damage. moreVoting Question: Explain how to do this algebra question?

I just turned 13 Dec. 21, and I have wanted to be an actress for as long as I can remember. I have been in church plays, and in elementary plays or musicals. Two summers ago my cousin and I(she wants to be an actress too)wanted to call the number on the TV and radio would "make you famous." We told my mom and she said that she would call the number. The commercial was never on again or the ad. This last summer my mom called the number and we went to the audition or whatever you would call it. When we got there we had to wait in a super long line and then listen to this long speech. It turns out it was just a scam asking for thousands of dollars that basically takes you no where. I have learned from that and I know that mostly everything online, on the radio, or TV saying they'll "make you famous"is a scam. I really want to be actress more than anything. In February I am going to be in acting classes. Also, just recently I auditioned for my school musical. I live in the suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio. My mom is very supportive of me. If I get a part even in just a commercial, I'm sure that she will fly me there. The only problem is that I'm not sure where to find a casting director. If I need to I'll get an commercial agent. But if I don't have to I just want to find an audition for a commercial so that I can build up my resume. But how do I find auditions, casting directors,or agents? Thanks, ♥ lauren moreResolved Question: LGBT: 25 Questions this time?

I'm preparing for the re-launch of my newly re-formatted radio show on BlogTalkRadio, and I need some questions to kick it off. I'm addressing topics in 4 age groups, or "decades of life": up to 10, 11-20, 21-30, and 31-40, so if your Aspie is little or grown, either way is fine! (Or if YOU are the aspie, that is cool, too!) Aspergers is something that is simple to me in part... It's Figuring out what is confusing that is hard for me! Since this posted question is asking for questions to use on the show, please don't respond if this isn't ok with you! (If you have a question you want me to answer, then "ask a question" and link to it in your response to this, and I'll go to your question to answer, if I can!) I'll withold any personal information, other than demographics, and I'll try to post when the show is, or your can visit my show on Blog Talk Radio to see when I schedule it for. (Likely, next week some time, but I'm not sure.) There are actually likely to be 4 different shows for each decade of life... I'm turning 40 and I guess this is how I'm celebrating this milestone birthday! Lol...! If you go to the Blog Talk Radio site and search ''autism'' it's likely to be one of the first you see. It's listed with the new name (Aspie Friendly), but has the old format (show name: A Panoptic Life). You will be able to easily see when I have a new show is scheduled. Thanks for your help and maybe I'll be talking to you soon!!! moreResolved Question: Does anyone believe in psychic ability? I tried to shorten it, so please bear with me.?
This will probably sound about 99.9% crazy to most of you, but I hope I don't get any smart aleck responses. I can absent mindedly read people's thoughts or certain future events, but when I try to while on the spot, I can't seem to do it. The first sign of coincedence, for example, my friends and I were on youtube looking at random videos. We found one of this girl singing about chapstick (I'd never seen it before) and I randomly said "She needs to get a life." Then at the end, the girl in the video said "Man, I need to get a life." That same night we were all playing Taboo (a game where your partner draws a card with a word on it, and he/she has to say something as hints to see if you can guess the word), and I just knew every word my partner was about to explain BEFORE she explained it. Ever since then those friends love playing Taboo with me because it puts them in awe. I'll have dreams that foreshadow minor events that later happen. I'll have a song going through my head and then turn on the radio and hear it. And much more. When people ask me to read their mind, I can't. It's just not that easy for me. I just want to know, does anyone believe that this kind of stuff is psychic ability, or just coincedence? The only reason I believe in it, is my aunt and mother went to a psychic just for fun, and they told my aunt that she was going to die at early age. Then she died at age 21. Please give me opinions. 10 pts best answer. Thank you in advance. moreResolved Question: For older folks 30s-50s...Blast from the past...January/ February 1982. Do these things take you back?

There was an article in a San Francisco newspaper in which a so-called Biblical scholar is interviewed and he says the world will end on May 21, 2011. "Harold Camping lets out a hearty chuckle when he considers the people who believe the world will end in 2012. "That date has not one stitch of biblical authority," Camping says from the Oakland office where he runs Family Radio, an evangelical station that reaches listeners around the world. ....The real date for the end of times, he says, is in 2011." The article goes on to say, "Camping, 88, has scrutinized the Bible for almost 70 years and says he has developed a mathematical system to interpret prophecies hidden within the Good Book." And the article shows how Camping has computed this particular date (see whole article for the details). Source: Biblical scholar's date for rapture: May 21, 2011 Justin Berton, Chronicle Staff Writer Friday, January 1, 2010 http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2010/01/01/BA8V1AV589.DTL ******************************************** I personally do not believe Camping's claims for two reasons. 1) according to the article, he has already made a false prediction that the world would end on September 6, 1994, and the Bible says we are not to believe anyone who has made a false prophecy ("Deut. 18-20 reads, "And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken? When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him."; and 2) Jesus was very clear that not even He knew when the Last Days would come and therefore if HE did not, how can any man know? (Matt. 24:36 reads, "But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.") And of course, scriptures say: Matt: 7:15, "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves"; Matt. 24:11, "And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many."; Matt. 24:24, "For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders...". So what do you think? Do you believe him or do you too believe him to be a false prophet? Does your religious beliefs have date in mind or is it open as it is in my faith (Roman Catholic)? If you support Camping, how do you explain his previous false prophecy? And if you are a supporter, how will you feel if this too is another false prophecy? Would you continue to support him? moreVoting Question: Question about the 2002 Audi A6 2.7t regarding the radio din?

I have 8 siblings, they are 11, 9, 7, 4, 21 months, 21 months, 11 months, and 11 months. My mom is a a stay-at-home-mom, so I never have to watch my siblings. However, tomorrow from 10am-2pm my mom asked if I would be able to watch them while she is at a brunch for adults only. I have no problem, and plus I am allowed to invite two friends to help out. I made a plan, anyone want to review it? 10:00AM- Active indoor play, which is actually really easy to supervise. For the four little ones (21 months, 21 months, 11 months, and 11 months), we have all these funky ride-on toys, bouncers, walkers, etc. For my 4 year old brother, we have similar stuff just older verison. Then we have active video games and fun stuff like that for Nick (7), Cara (9) and Jasmin (11). approx 10:45AM- Arts and crafts time! I let Jasmin and Cara (the two oldest) pick out a craft that they can easily help Nick (7) and Jake (4) do. Then we have these magic finger paint things that only show up on this special paper. Sean, Sean (both 21 months), Hannah and Emma (both 11 months), LOVE to play with it. During clean-up, I'm going to run off and get started on lunch. Once everything is cleaned, the kids will all come to the table and wait. My mom has a radio in the kitchen that the kids sing along to while waiting for food, so that is going to be a lifesaver. 11:30AM- Hopefully we will get food on the table around this time. Then one of my friends will clean-up the kitchen, the other will go downstairs in the play room with Jasmin (11), Cara (9), Nick (7), and Jake (4). I will be upstairs with the little ones getting them down for nap time. approx. 12:00PM- At this point, whoever wants to come outside in the snow can. One of my friends can stay inside with the kids who don't wanna go and two of us can go outside in the snow. Between putting on and taking off everything, it should take about an hour (we know they don't last more than 45 minutes). Once they want to go inside, we can basically handle it from there; maybe board games, a movie, etc. Good plan? Changes?LOL no! One is named Shay.
