I recently install cod4, playing online ofcourse, i get around 80-125 fps ingame for about 1min, then it just drops down to 20-40 and stays that way. Resolved Question: Is there anything I can buy that will totally jam a CD or ham radio signal?

Here's the deal. I bought my house three years ago. And across the street is this jerk that has a CB and ham radio and this godawful antenna from freaking HELL that lines directly up with my living room - since my house is up on a hill from the street. When I watch a movie on DVD - he comes through my TV speakers. When I play Xbox - he comes through my surround sound speakers. When I play my guitar - he comes through my Fender amp. Since he's prone to cursing on the air I contacted the FCC about him. This resulted in him quieting down for a bit - but he's back at it. While he's not cursing, he's still talking over my movies and BLASTING through my guitar amp. I've tried ferrite beat filter thingies - doesn't work. I'm done playing nice. Is there anything I can do at my end - legal or otherwise - that would just jame the hell out of his signal? I would love for a huge blast of feedback to scream out of his radio at him. Preferably that would ignite him in flames LOL Ok, kidding about the last night but imagine being an hour into a good movie and suddenly BLAH BLAH BLAH some jerk is louder than the dialogue. Any suggestions - to either block his signal from coming in? Or to make him miserable? LOL more

We just recently got our Philips-HTS3410D/37 from a friend who didn't want it anymore. But she didn't give us the speakers or the remote to the system. She said that she couldn't find them. I am getting a great deal on a new Dodge Grand Caravan SE. It has the "Media Centre 430" radio which has a 6.5" touchscreen, CD/DVD, and a 30 GB harddrive. What it dosent have is navigation. Dodge offers a "Media Centre 730" on the SXT models which is the same as the 430 but has navigation. Has anyone had this type installed in their Durango?The thing is I have a GPS unit a Sirus Satellite unit and would like it all in one (if not all then some). Resolved Question: 2004 Dodge Durango CD not working?

Up until a month ago it worked perfectly fine, then one day out of the blue (and of course after paying for a complete tuneup) It blew a rod, blowing straight through the oil pan. Thank goodness for the warranty. Anyway, I get the car back tonight, and it drives beautifully. My mechanic tells me that for some reason after around 109 thousand miles the Durango's seem to blow rods. As I entered his shop another Durango same exact model as mine was brought in with the same issue. Anyway, I start driving off, and go to play my cd and nothing. The radio works and the SAT and the DVD player, but its not reading the CD player at all. I was told that they had to take out the engine and the battery, ok fine, but what does that have to do with my CD not working? Its like its not even there. Can anyone tell me if this has happened to them and what they did to fix it please. I have six cd's in there and I cant get it to eject or even play, nothing. Its like I don't have a CD player installed at all. Thanks in advance. more

Hi! I have a problem with my radio/dvd player. Last week I put in a headphone to listen to music. After I pulled the headphone out the speakers made no sound. After plugging the speakers in and out there was no difference. Only after putting in and pulling out the headphone several times the speakers started to function. Yay! But yesterday I used the headphone again. And guess what? Same problem. But now the trick doesn't work anymore. Does Anyone have an idea how to fix this? I guess the radio 'thinks' there's still a headphone in the system, while there really isnt. more

Just a bit curious about this. I looked on ebay and found 4 copies of the limited edition of this CD/DVD from Disturbed. The prices ranged from $20-108 each due to their respective condition. I own a fully autographed copy I received from a radio station auction when this first came out in 2002. I'm a cab driver and I need a portable TV. I work in the suburbs of the Chicago area and I have downtime while waiting on calls occasionally. I have a 2006 Kia Sedona minivan with a factory CD player. I am wanting to get a aftermarket CD/MP3/DVD/GPS system. I have found several systems on cruthfield, but the reviews are mixed. I don't really care for the Pioneer systems. I do like some of the Clarions, but I am not sure about any others. I am looking for a good quality unit around $600. I really don't care if it has a DVD player, but most of the GPS units also include the DVD players. I am planning on adding the DVD system later on when my 5 month old starts watching tv. I was thinking about just having the rear dvd entertainment system when that happens. Also, I do not want to have to put a CD in to use the GPS. I have 4 electricial equipments which i connect using a 4 in 1 socket powerstrip meaning each socket powering each equipment (tv, xbox, virgin media box, dvd player). Today when i replugged my virgin media box from one of the 4 outlets straight to the back of the box's mains, right behind back of box's mains, blue sparks started to set off for some reason. I straight away switched off the main switch of the powerstrip. Then switched on after some time to try again, same thing happened, blue sparks right behind where the 2 pin mains adapter is plugged in at back of the virgin media box. So whats wrong and will it affect my other equipment. Other 3 equipements (tv, xbox, dvd player) are still working with no sparks but just to be safe, i unplugged virgin media box and still using the other 3 equipment, is that ok or will it get damaged in future. Even after checking the actual mains wire of the virgin media box, that is working fine when i used it with radio so does that mean the virgin media box which has blue sparks inside has had its fuse blown.
