I'm looking into buying a portable Sirrius satellite radio player, the kind that lets you transmit the signal to your radio (e.g. the radio in your car) using an FM modulator. Is there anybody in the San Francisco Bay Area using one of these? If so, do you have any problem with the sound quality? I tried an iPod car adaptor a few years ago that used one of those FM modulator and it didn;t work for me because local radio stations would cut in. I don't want to install the player in the car because I also want to use it in the house, when I travel, etc.Regarding the FM tuning, I'm OK with flipping around to different channels to find one that works.
