I just got the Paint Shop Pro X2 program and want to know where I can find picture tubes that work with version, along with fonts or any other cool things. Okay so I've done a few scrapbooks and they weren't horrible but they weren't the best. I would like to make another one and I would like it to look pretty good. I don't know who to have the cute fonts, like I know you can use stickers but I think there is another way by like using your computer but i'm not sure what it is. Resolved Question: Which die cut machine is best?

I am debating between the Xyron® Wishblade® Digital Die-Cutting Machine and the Provo Craft® Cricut® Expression Cutting Machine. The first one is computer based and the second one is a cartridge. They both have good reviews. The question is, with the computer based, do I have to buy ink, does it print from my computer or from the machine? Is there additional costs over time? Are there unlimited fonts and designs? For the second one, the question is where do I buy the cartridges? How many fonts and designs are on each cartridge? How much are they? Again, do I have to purchase ink? What is the benefit of having the computer based one if the designs are limited? What is the overall point of having the machine? I dont use programs to create my pages because I feel that it takes the fun out of me sitting in my craft room doing a page and putting it together. So much of scrapbooking has gone digital and although they look fantastic, it's not as creative to me. Would the computer based die cut machine make me feel that way? more

Resolved Question: Scrapbooking ... what kind of personal cutter should I purchase?

My husband wants to buy me a personal cutter for my birthday, but I'm not sure which one I want. He wanted to get me a Cricut, but then changed his mind to a Xyron that hooks straight up to your computer so you don't need to buy cartridges, you can just use the fonts on your computer. I'd like to know if you can recommend a personal cutter. Why would you recommend it, and pros and cons. Thanks! more

Resolved Question: Scrapbooking...?

I scrapbook and I want to find a way to make cool fonts or write things on my scrapbook. I usually use stickers and have recently tried stamps. Stamps are so expensive it seems when i want to use different fonts for different pages. When i print them out on the computer I got the stupid white in the background and it doesn't really match the page. Any ideas from fellow scrapbookers who know how to do cool lettering/fonts and how to make the page look really good. Thanks for the help!!! more

Resolved Question: I'm a teen that would like to start scrapbooking over the summer. Can I get some advice?

I've decided that this summer I'd like to get my butt off of the computer. I'm 13 and my mom does not scrapbook, but we have lots of photos. So far I have some puffy stickers, speech bubble stickers, some paper, and markers (not sure if they are acid-free). Oh, and I don't need a paper cutter because I'm just starting out and my mom can cut perfectly straight. I have many downloaded fonts, so I can print out some cute lettering if needed. How much do 12x12 scrapbooks usually cost? And sheet protectors? I will probably go shopping at the local scrapbooking store. And does printer ink have acid in it? Is it safe to print things out and use them in my scrapbook? What else do I need? Any random tips? I've been to many websites and would just like some advice from Yahoo! Answers users that have experience. more

Resolved Question: Is there a way to make The Font Thing work with Windows Vista?

I had been using The Font Thing to organize my fonts for my scrapbooking projects but we got a new laptop and it runs Vista. Now my Font Thing wont install any of my fonts. I get an error message that reads: "Can Not Install Font. (5) Access Denied". Is there a way to make The Font Thing work with Vista? If not, how can I manually install the fonts I want to use? more

Resolved Question: What is the best die cutter for crafts/scrapbooking?

The wishblade is too much so please leave that out. I am really interested in the cricut, but I am looking for other opinions. I do not have any cutters and have never used one. I know for the cricut you have to buy cartridges, but what else do you need to buy that are "must haves" to use it? do you have to use cricut special paper or will any paper or cardstock work? I want to be able to cut fonts and make 3-d looking diecuts. there is some cutter that always advertises in the front of Creating Keepsakes magazines that makes super cute die cuts (people, animals, etc) what is that called and does the cricut make similar things? more

Resolved Question: Scrapbooking: Can Kinkos print on vellum paper?

I am just getting started with scrapbooking and I recently found out that you can print sweet little sayings, names, images, etc. on vellum paper with your home printer. However, I have a computer but I don't have a printer. I was wondering if I took vellum paper down to a local FedEx/Kinkos store, if they would be able to print what I want for me? And if so, if I saved the fonts and whatever I wanted written onto my little flash drive, would they upload the information into their systems? I have never used Kinkos before--in fact have never even set foot into a store, so I'm oblivious! :) more

Resolved Question: program won't run?

I need some help please. I have a program HP Iamge Zone Pluse on my computer which I use often. For some reason now I am getting an error message : Font 'arial' doesn't support style ' regular'? Does anybody have any idea how to correct this? This all started when I was downloading some fonts for scrapbooking. Even my font has changed for typing in my name, passcodes, etc. I have deleted everything I have downloaded, did all my sytem checks, etc. Some ideas ( not smart arse ones need not be posted ) would be greatly appreciated.
