Free Scrapbook Images Questions asked

Resolved Question: Digital photo editing? I need a tool to drag and drop several images to be printed as one.?

I have accumulated hundreds of digital photos over the years and I want to have them printed to add to my kids' scrapbooks but the cost would probably kill me LOL! Does anyone know of a free software I can use so I could drag and drop several images to be printed as one? I've already edited the images using Photo!Editor but this is the one last tool I need to cut my printing expenses to some degree of reasonability. Please help? Thanks. more

Resolved Question: 2008 Chicago Cubs Virtual Scrapbook, fans would you contribute?

In celebration of the 2008 season I thought it would be fun if fans were to share their memorable moments, impressions, etc. from the 2008 season. Let me point out I am a White Sox fan who's either watched or listened to over half of all the Cubs game this year. Despite their disappointing loss in the post season, I still consider this a great year for the Chicago Cubs and I know there are Cubs fans out there that would agree with me. So share with us: What made this year really stand out for you? Was there a defining moment in which you may have thought this is going to be a great year, or as famously stated throughout the year that this "could be the year?" What was your most enjoyable moment(s)? When did you really feel good about the 2008 Chicago Cubs team? What were the most turbulent part(s) of the season for you, did you feel there even were any? Was there a certain player that you really enjoyed seeing play all year? Was there a roster moved that really shocked you? If you have links to photos or articles that define the 2008 Cubs season for you then feel free to share, but links or images are not necessary. I want to get everyone's impressions of what made this 2008 season a great season for yourself. This will be a sort of virtual scrapbook of everyone's impressions and memories from this past 2008 season. This question will be put to a vote so tell your friends!!!! PS To opposing team fans I respectively ask that you do not post if you're goal is to bash the 2008 Cubs. Yes, their winning season came to a sudden end during the first round of the post season, but despite that there are some enjoyable memories for the Chicago Cubs fans during this 2008 season. Stagg, exactly. There was more to the Cubs season than October. more

Resolved Question: 2008 Chicago White Sox Virtual Scrapbook, fans would you contribute?

In celebration of the 2008 season I thought it would be fun if we all shared our memorable moments, impressions, etc. of the 2008 team that went to the post season. Sure the White Sox didn't go all they way, but despite that this was still a very enjoyable year for me and I'm sure many fans feel the same way. So tell us: What made this year really stand out for you? Was there a defining moment? What was your most enjoyable moment(s)? When did you really feel good about this team? What were the most turbulent part(s) of the season for you? Was there a certain player that you really enjoyed seeing play all year? This question will be put to a vote so tell your friends!!!! PS To opposing team fans I respectively ask that you do not post if you're goal is to bash the 2008 White Sox. Yes, they had their faults, but this is suppose to be fun for the 2008 White Sox fans. Danielle, I was at the early June game against the Royals that went 15 innings! My friend had to work the next day and I we were on our way out, but then decided to stick around. We ended up seeing the Konerko walk-off homerun with Quintin on first. I agree, the White Sox obviously didn't go all the way, but this was still a good one, in my opinion. more

Voting Question: I have never scrapbooked before but I am doing one for a new baby with articles from the paper and prices.etc?

This may sound silly but how do you use the free clipart and backgrounds from the web. The pages are so big they won't fit in the printer so do I just cut out the images and letters? Any other ideas for the scrapbook? Thanks!!!! more

Voting Question: Where Can I Find Scrapbook-like Computer Textures?

I need to find a website that gives away free textures/large images that are kind of scrapbook like. I have found one site that does this called hybrid-genesis, and I want to find more like it. some examples of the scrap-look I want are: http://www.hybrid-genesis.com/freebies/free_textures/regular_textures/hg_texture101.jpg http://www.hybrid-genesis.com/freebies/free_textures/misc_textures/hgtexmisc08.jpg http://www.hybrid-genesis.com/freebies/free_textures/misc_textures/hg_texture142.jpg Can you help? more

Resolved Question: trying to download image from internet?

There is a web site called scrapbookflair.com and I like to make scrapbook pages using their free images. I just got a new computer and can not figure out how to download them properly. When I push the download button it does not give me the option to save it, only the option to open it into a picture program I have on my computer. Well when I do that, the images are supposed to be translucent, but they have white in the background. Please does anyone know anything about making these images translucent. more

Resolved Question: My question is regarding sites offering licensed images for print?

My question is regarding Royalty-Free Clip Art and Stock Images. I have read that you may purchase royalty-free clip art and stock images on discs (or download) to use without restriction, commercially and privately - on business cards, websites, personal scrapbooks and project. The only purpose you cannot use royalty-free images for is to start your own clip art business; you do not have the right to resell or lease the clip art to others. Then how does a company like Got Print (www.gotprint.com) and CauseKeepers offer licensed logos and images for the Quick Designer? This is where you build your business card online. Is it because they are selling business cards with the image, and not the image itself? How would you be able to use the same image on a letterhead or brochure? (keeping in mind the article I read said Business Cards). Thanks~ more

Resolved Question: If I want to scrapbook & print out an image digitally, will it be acid-free & not harm other elements?

The image I print would be clip-art additions to the page. I wouldn't be printing any photos; rather, just background details and/or lettering. I want to make sure doing some details with the computer & printer wouldn't detract from the life of the photos or scrapbook. more
