I no that seems broad. But i wanna get someone a very thoughtful gift. She is really into quotes, and sayings. I wanted to try to get ideas for engraving some of the quotes on the gift, or maybe even scrapbooking? I was just wondering if i could get some ideas, and where i could go to do this? more

Resolved Question: Im a first time scrapbooker?

My best friends birthday is on Wednesday and I'm making her a scrapbook. I already printed out the pictures and I planned out each page. Theres going to be about 10 pages. Now I just need help putting it all together. Where can I get cheap (like $20-$30) materials? I know I need scrapbooking paper,stickers,pens(gel type ones),stencils and stuff like that. Should I get a pre-made one from target for $25 or just get everything separately and do it myself? The pre-made one comes with: 12x12 scrapbook,paper,card stock,stickers,stencils,page protectors and some other stuff. Also what are some neat and original ideas to put the scrapbook together and make it my own? I know I need to put pictures,quotes,descriptions,inside jokes, but what else? Thanks! :) more

I was originally going to do a scrapbook for Lukas just watching him grow... with a page or two for each month of his life, but I've decided instead, I'll do a photo album separately and make scrapbook pages of "moments" and occasions... So far I have the following ideas: 1.Waiting for you (ultrasounds, bump photos etc) 2.Birth 3.People who love you 4.Sleeping 5.Bath times 6.Christmas 7.Christmas portrait 8.Christening 9.Trip to Germany 10.Fun times 11.The Park 12.Professional photos 13.First shoes 14.Changing faces 15.Hand/foot prints 16.Your favourite things 17.Time with Daddy 18.Time with Mummy 19.First birthday 20. Milestones Not set on the order yet... so any suggestions there appreciated. Anything else I should/could add? Any constructive criticism or tips? I'm a bit of a perfectionist and I've already restarted three times as I didn't like it... so I want to plan it carefully before I waste more stuff! Also, if you can think of any quotes or poems to include that would also be appreciated! ThanksThe "changing faces" page will be loads of little passport size photos of Lukas' face from birth to 12 months... with silly expressions included just to watch how his face changes as he grows! more

Resolved Question: Decorating my school binders...need good motivational/goal/achievement/success quotes =)?

Ok, so I have used my scrapbooking materials and decorated my binders for school. I must say they do look quite amazing. I am very happy with them. However...I had an idea: I thought that when I open the binder, on the left where it is just the binder itself I could put a good motivational or goal quote [need author as well] and after you flip all the pages in the 'end' of the binder...have an achievement or success quote. I really think this is a good idea, for me at least. Nonetheless, I am stuck trying to find quotes... Any suggestions??? Thank You so much. Will choose best answer. more

hi, im organising next weeks playgroup activity, we are doing a scrapbook page to go into a frame [a4 size] and will have a photo of themselves in it and then they will glue on some words like love, im special, happy, memories, ect,,, as this is held in a catholic building id love to add in a little prayer or verse, ect,, something simple like '' im a child of God'', [but better, i just cant think] any ideas will be great, thankyou xxxxxxthe oracles answer,,, they will pick the clippings they choose to glue, i aint gonna force anyone, in a way though they have chosen to come to a catholic churches playgroup, they should expect catholic activities. as the preist and school wants me to teach the kids catholic guidelines of thanks to god and the morals of our religion,, its only good, not harm for thembackinbowl,,,, ARE YOU SERIOUS????? dont bother answering you idiotim not even a teacher, im a volunteer of a playgroup,,, i dont have time to add in apostrophes and stuff, like u shouldnt have the time to answer a question without giving an answer but only an insult,, people like u make me angry more

Okay- first tell me if this is cheesy, I love scrapbooks, i think they're so cute and I was thinking for my sisters wedding shower to put together mini scrapbooks for the tables with pictures of her and her fiance. I love them more than printed picture books because you can personalize/detail them as much as you want. Does anyone have any examples or ideas of what I could include? Maybe a cute quote or poem? I have collected hundreds of quotes from significant people in my daughter's life. I have also assembled many photos on a removeable disk. Where can I get these published in a bound book format? Is this done through a scrapbooking store? craft store? or photography studio? I've seen others with these books that truly look like books. Where can I order one? But what do I do after that? I got a "Scrapbooking Alum Kit" for Christmas that has some paper, stickers, stencils, and other "scrapbooking stuff", but what else do I need. I need some help with a scrapbooking slogan. Me, my mother, a couple of friends and my 3 aunts all get together about 4 times a year for a scrapbooking weekend, like a retreat.
