Voting Question: Can't install a computer program!! Help! I need it for work.?
when trying to install Scrapbook factory deluxe 2.0 on my computer( with Vista Home premuim) I got this message: "wrong OS or OS version for this applicaion"
However, I have had this program on my computer before. I even have some files still saved on my computer.
I looked for updates on the web, and was unsuccessful. Is there any changes I can make to my computer to get this CD to work? Also at the end of trying to install it, it says that the install was interrupted before it could finish.
I need to get it installed sometime today, so I can finish my lesson plans. Please Help!Compatilbilty Wizard stopped working. What I mean by this,
is the buttons 'back', 'next' and cancel' are all blank when I start the
program and when I click on the buttons they will not function at all. System
Restore is not correcting this problem either.

I downloaded this software called Scrapbook Deluxe Factory 4.0, from Utorrent, and it was a successful download. When I try installing it it shows the error that says : "The Installation Package Could not be Opened. Contact the application vendor that this is a valid Windows Installer Package."
By the way please don't give me a microsoft support site, just post the error in the answer, because I couldn't find the error in the site.

- 2.0 GB Ram
- 160 GB Harddrive
- Pioneer DVD Drive
- Windows XP Professional SP 1 (Not geniune, cracked windows)
