Resolved Question: Scrapbooking Ideas for Horse that was put down on tuesday.?

Does anybody have any ideas for scrapbooking? I'm making a scrapbook for my freind of her horse that she put down on Tuesday. Her name was Treeka, she was a Bay Purebred QH mare, 26 or 28 years old (they told my freidn she was 26 but they think shes 28). She used to barrel race, and always placed 1st, 2nd, or 3rd. She was a sweetheart and loved it when peopl talked to her. If u have any ideas please post them. If you have any good sayings and/or poems as well, post them too. Just anything that has to do with scrapbooking and/or making the pages. Thanks. It's a surprise. :) more

Ohkay . Now my teacher is giving me an assignment well a project that is due on the 23 of october && I chose to do a scrapbook of the holocaust . I need to know how to make my paper yellow because I wanna crinkle it up and then burnt the edges to make it look all old and faded looking. Now I don't mean like yellow as in bright yellow just a faded off yellow . I heard that using coffee works but I wanna know if there is any other kind of thing to use . I would also like to know some websites from where I can get pictures or song lyrics or poems that the jewish people wrote during the Holocaust . Please help me ASAP . Voting Question: Any help with scrapbooking ideas?

I was originally going to do a scrapbook for Lukas just watching him grow... with a page or two for each month of his life, but I've decided instead, I'll do a photo album separately and make scrapbook pages of "moments" and occasions... So far I have the following ideas: 1.Waiting for you (ultrasounds, bump photos etc) 2.Birth 3.People who love you 4.Sleeping 5.Bath times 6.Christmas 7.Christmas portrait 8.Christening 9.Trip to Germany 10.Fun times 11.The Park 12.Professional photos 13.First shoes 14.Changing faces 15.Hand/foot prints 16.Your favourite things 17.Time with Daddy 18.Time with Mummy 19.First birthday 20. Milestones Not set on the order yet... so any suggestions there appreciated. Anything else I should/could add? Any constructive criticism or tips? I'm a bit of a perfectionist and I've already restarted three times as I didn't like it... so I want to plan it carefully before I waste more stuff! Also, if you can think of any quotes or poems to include that would also be appreciated! ThanksThe "changing faces" page will be loads of little passport size photos of Lukas' face from birth to 12 months... with silly expressions included just to watch how his face changes as he grows! more

Resolved Question: Scrapbooking/collage question?

For my boyfriend's and my year, I am creating a scrapbook including photos, ticket stubs, and poems we have wrote to eachother. I have a total of about fifty poems. The first 18 poems were wrote back and forth in one day, are FAIRLY SHORT, and of much importance to the book. I was hoping to put these first short 18 on ONE scrapbook page, but can't think of an idea for a layout that wouldn't look TOO cluttered, but would still depict them enough to see. Anyone who does scrapbooking have any ideas on how to make a poem collage out of 18 short poems on a scrapbooking page? Layout examples etc. would be of much help. I've looked around a little and haven't found much of what I'm looking for. Thanks! more

Resolved Question: help with rhyme/poem?

im am staying at my girlfriends house for a week then moving out cause things aint working out for the best atm. she is at her dads till 2moro so i thought i would make her wall into a huge scrapbooking page to show how much i love her. one of my ideas is to have 7 days to show how much i care so i have wrote a poem for 7 things i like about her. the idea is she opens one every day and inside is what i like and a poem about it. i need to explain up the top in a quick poem or rhyme... it needs to be along the lines of: (i got 7 days to show how much u mean to me open one each day to show how much i love u in every way).... only that dont sound very good... :-( any sugestions on rhyming it?? or examples?? thanks guys :-) also if ppl have any nice ideas about how i could decorate the wal aswell that would be great...i seriously love everything about her :-) i just need something catchy which will explain that she needs to open one a day to find out just what i love about her.. more

Hi, I have downloaded a background for scrapbooking, but it has saved as Adobe reader 8 pdf. I have already used Adobe on my laptop, a couple of weeks ago, but this is different. I would like to paste a poem I have already written in Microsoft Word onto the backround, but I have no idea how to do it. Can anybody help me to do this, or suggest a website where I can download free backgrounds I can do this with? (Preferably baby themed patterns, or something girly please.) Thanks in advance. more

For my history class we have to make a holocaust memorial project. We can do almost anything. Poems, sewing, woodwork, etc. I am a crafty person. I can crochet, knit, embroider, and very basic quilting. I also love scrapbooking. What should I do for my project? Anyone have a pattern or specific idea that I could do? Resolved Question: What to do for my great-grandfather's 80th Birthday?

I live in the states, he in Germany. My 9 year old son and I are going to fly to Germany and then surprise him at his actual party which the rest of the family is having for him. No one knows we're coming except my mom. My son is going to recite a german poem for him at the party. My mom wants me to make him a scrapbook, but I really hate scrapbooking. I'm very creative, but that's one thing I never want to do. What are some other things I could buy or make him that would be special? Okay- first tell me if this is cheesy, I love scrapbooks, i think they're so cute and I was thinking for my sisters wedding shower to put together mini scrapbooks for the tables with pictures of her and her fiance.
