some one help me out please? we have to read this manifesto and then break it down in to syllogisms if you know logic you know this like (premises and conclusions) Analyzed statement or manifesto to show its logical arguments, structures, and fallacies using clear logic, argumentation, and critical thinking. As a genre, Fractal Art (FA) has been around for approximately 15-20 years. Its first major public display may be considered to be an article about the Mandelbrot Set published in "Scientific American" in 1985. Since then, many advances have been made, both in fractal rendering capabilities and in the understanding of fractal geometery. Perhaps now is an opportune time to make a defining statement about what is (and what is not) Fractal Art. Fractal Art is a genre concerned with fractals—shapes or sets characterized by self affinity (small portions of the image resemble the overall shape) and an infinite amount of detail, at all scales. Fractals are typically created on a digital computer, using an iterative numerical process. Lately, images that are not technically fractals, but that share the same basic generating technique and environment, have been welcomed into the FA world. Fractal Art is a subclass of two dimensional visual art, and is in many respects similar to photography—another art form which was greeted by skepticism upon its arrival. Fractal images typically are manifested as prints, bringing Fractal Artists into the company of painters, photographers, and printmakers. Fractals exist natively as electronic images. This is a format that traditional visual artists are quickly embracing, bringing them into FA's digital realm. Generating fractals can be an artistic endeavor, a mathematical pursuit, or just a soothing diversion. However, FA is clearly distinguished from other digital activities by what it is, and by what it is not. Fractal Art is not: * Computer(ized) Art, in the sense that the computer does all the work. The work is executed on a computer, but only at the direction of the artist. Turn a computer on and leave it alone for an hour. When you come back, no art will have been generated. * Random, in the sense of stochastic, or lacking any rules. Being based on mathematics, fractal rendering is the essence of determinism. Apply the same image generation steps, and the same result will follow. Slight changes in process usually lead to slight changes in product, making FA an activity which can be learned, not a haphazard process of pushing buttons and turning knobs. * Random, in the sense of unpredictable. Fractal Art, like any new pursuit, will have aspects unknown to the novice, but familiar to the master. Through experience and education, the techniques of FA can be learned. As in painting or chess, the essentials are quickly grasped, although they can take a lifetime to fully understand and control. Over time, the joy of serendipitous discovery is replaced by the joy of self-determined creation. * Something that anyone with a computer can do well. Anyone can pick up a camera and take a snapshot. However, not just anyone can be an Ansel Adams or an Annie Liebovitz. Anyone can take brush in hand and paint. However, not just anyone can be a Georgia O'Keeffe or a Pablo Picasso. Indeed, anyone with a computer can create fractal images, but not just anyone will excel at creating Fractal Art. Fractal Art is: * Expressive. Through a painter's colors, a photographer's use of light and shadow, or a dancer's movements, artists learn to express and evoke all manner of ideas and emotions. Fractal Artists are no less capable of using their medium as a similarly expressive language, as they are equipped with all the essential tools of the traditional visual artist. * Creative. The final fractal image must be created, just as the photograph or the painting. It can be created as a representational work, and abstraction of the basic fractal form, or as a nonrepresentational piece. The Fractal Artist begins with a blank "canvas", and creates an image, bringing together the same basic elements of color, composition, balance, etc., used by the traditional visual artist. * Requiring of input, effort, and intelligence. The Fractal Artist must direct the assembly of the calculation formulas, mappings, coloring schemes, palettes, and their requisite parameters. Each and every element can and will be tweaked, adjusted, aligned, and re-tweaked in the effort to find the right combination. The freedom to manipulate all these facets of a fractal image brings with it the obligation to understand their use and their effects. This understanding requires intelligence and thoughtfulness from the Artist. moreResolved Question: What do you think "BIO INTRODUCTION" means on this "Drawing Class" student evaluation form?

What do you think i could add to it?
Personal Statement I had never really been told I was ‘good’ at something, until my Media Studies teacher told me I was during my first year of Sixth Form. This is mainly the reason why I want to study media at university, so that I’m not just ‘good’, but great at something; and so it would be possible for to pursue my goals and dreams later on in life. I find the media, especially digital media, so effective and influential within society. I have always wanted to be a part of this industry, inspiring people through magazines, television and music as they have me, and would love to know what it feels like to inspire people through my work. I find it truly amazing how notes strung together, or how a script read on set can have such an impact on people, and I would be so appreciative to be given that kind of opportunity. I have within the past two years, developed a great interest in Photography and Digital Art. I was primarily attracted by this when I saw pictures taken by Charlie Waite, whose images capture mood and atmosphere with such an intelligent and perceptive style, and I would love to create work with as much impact with my photography. I also enjoy creating pieces of digital artwork, using Photoshop. I would love to be given the opportunity, in which I could incorporate these skills with my passion for media at university. At The King John Sixth Form, I studied Art and Design, English Literature and Media Studies. I enjoyed all of my subjects, especially Media Studies .I decided to drop English Literature so I was able to focus on the more interesting and fulfilling aspects of my other subjects. Now at A2 Level, I am being able to explore my strengths and weaknesses, so I can determine which areas I am most passionate about. I come from a family of three children, in which I am the oldest. I appreciate being brought up in a stable and loving family, and I feel I have benefited from this, especially by having constant support from both my parents and grandparents. Having this support in the household has shaped me into being friendly, enthusiastic and a student who is eager to gain more knowledge and broaden my horizons Having seen my parents both working hard in full time jobs, and still educating themselves further, to keep themselves abreast of their professions, it has made me realise that education is an ongoing process, and don’t feel it is an activity that is confined to school and university as a young student. As a student, I like to approach different subjects with an individual and alternative way of thinking, while ensuring I deliver what is needed of me. Also, with a lot of support from my teachers and tutors, I have learnt how to work with a level of autonomy, which will benefit my studies in a university setting. I have the confidence to develop and communicate ideas, and have the motivation to research and increase my depth of knowledge within my subjects. I think university education is essential for me to progress my chosen profession, and I am fully aware of the effort and commitment that is required to achieve my goals. I believe I will be an asset to the university, as a keen student and with an outgoing personality will be able to fully engage and support university life. I think that expanding on knowledge in educational settings with the guidance of personnel committed to passing on their excellence is an opportunity to embrace and I would like the chance to do that. moreResolved Question: Which classes would you recommend?
For PE, I want to do something that is not too straining, I can lose weight, and breath easy. Since I was 13 I wanted to be a photographer, over the years while taking many pictures of many things, I realized I enjoy photography of wildlife, buildings, and odd objects the most. I don't care for portraiture of any kind (humans an pets for example). I never thought I'd like building but my photography teacher had us do an assignment and I found it fun, and i notice interesting buildings now. I myself prefer film over digital. The Jr college i'm at right now has done away with their film class, luckily I took their black and white film photo class b4 they took it away. They have 3 digital camera classes. After i complete some math, history, and those 3 digital courses, I am ready to move onto a university. At the University I am studying under "ART" which in turn allows me to take a color film class. That's the only reason I'm going really, all the other classes I have to take I consider a bonus. At first I wanted to just work at nation geographic or other magazines, but as I look on I realize opening up galleries and freelance would also be fun. So my question is: to do the job(s) i wish to do, such as a wild life photographer, submitting my photography work magazines, newspapers, my own galleries, and what not...is a university degree even needed? Or can I just go right to my career desire after the jr college (4 yr)? I figure in the end its best to get a university diploma no matter what. But what if the photography work alone isn't enough to support me? I figure photo journalism is a good choice as I love to write. But I know a university degree is called for in doing a photo-journalist. Other than that, not sure what I'd like doing. So if you skip all that and want to know the basis of my question(s): is a university education required to goto into the field work i intend on doing, is photojournalism required a university degree? After Jr college can i just go str8 for my job(s), or is college even needed? Even if it isn't i at least intend on finishing Jr. College. moreResolved Question: Which college class do you think would fit be better?
