I am 16 and from what I understand, in Utah, underage tattoos are legal under the consent of a parent or guardian. Hi there, I'm writing a short story, and would like to know your honest opinions on it. I want to know what you would change, what you like, and anything else you want to add Please be as detailed as you want, and feel free to quote from it, and mention anything that you don't like. I don't mind criticism, but i want to improve it! Also, what do you think will happen next? Can you see it piecing together at all? It is only a very short story though lol :) thanks xx I still remember it awfully accurately, as if it had been tattooed onto the memory part of my brain, like the patterns left on your eyes when you have been looking at the sun, refusing to disappear even when you close your lids. Those patterns, this memory of mine, that dreaded feeling inside that says, “will I ever be able to see properly again?” Only, of course, that memory is different; I know the answer to the question that my heart asks my brain. I will never see them again. I can’t even remember my father’s first name anymore. I can barely remember my own. Those patterns will impair my sight until I die. Everyone dies at some point. I have parts of me that have died inside, but apart from that, I am pretty much alive. I think. Have you ever thought of life as one game, where other people are controlling us? As if we are just a computer game, like The Sims? I always think of life as one huge Snakes and Ladders board. I was only on square six when I landed on a snake that took me to a completely different board, one that I didn’t know, one that I wasn’t familiar with. She died, holding her father’s hand. She didn’t have to die at all. A six year old girl sat alone, swaying back and forth on a swing. Tears rolled down her rounded face. She looked down at her muddy gingham dress, her scathed legs, and her torn shoes, and let out a whimper. She was being bullied. She daren’t look up to see the group of older children, mounted on their bikes. Footsteps were getting closer to her, and a familiar eight year old who towered a good four inches above her when they were both standing crouched down to below her height, so she would have to look at her face. The six year old sobbed as the eight year old began to speak, digging her already grubby fists into the dry soil and the bark on the floor. The larger girl yelled at the smaller one, chanting; “nobody likes you, everybody hates you” The bully quickly stood up, and said more quietly; “mummy and daddy don’t like you either.” The spiteful girl rubbed the dirt and bark into her victim’s messy brown hair, and the tears poured faster, as the small girl’s sister ran off squealing, mounted her bike, and left with her friends. She sat there in silence, her soft and usually warm brown eyes leaking. A man had been watching the bullying take place from behind, as if he were watching some dull television programme. He sat there staring, a blank expression on his greasy yellow face. His eyes which were once a piercing blue were now dry, dull, and red-rimmed. His lips too, were dry, but yet still oily, and chapped, yet still plump. He looked like a literally lifelong lifeless lowlife who lived life without living, or something similar at least, who just like you now, has seen life pass and go so many times that it doesn’t look like, sound like, or meaning anything at all anymore. Breathing heavily, partly because of blocked airways, partly because of the fresh tar on his lungs, but also because of the anticipation of the act he was about to commit. He paced himself, not allowing his feet to make any sound on the brown grass; he carefully placed each foot in front of the other, and started to walk towards the six year old girl. He clenched his large, dry, off-coloured hands, and proceeded forward. The six year old continued to weep, oblivious to the man creeping towards her. Now only inches away, his hand was drawn to hers like a magnet. The girl briefly paused; paranoid that something was about to happen, that she could hear something. Could she hear breathing? His hand touched hers. She felt something cold and dry touch her hand. His hand tightened around hers. The girl sharply turned to face the man, and could see her red face reflected back in his eyes. He saw her pretty, tearstained, shocked face, then his eyes locked with hers, and his face softened the tiniest amount; the change almost unnoticeable. The girl gasped, and was violently dragged offof her seat. Facing the other direction, hiking the other way, his hand still firmly attached to her small wrist. Open Question: Advice on which tattoo I should get?

I already have two tattoos. I have one that is script in Italian in a line around my left rib cage, with a little heart outline after it, and on on the right side of my pelvis, which is two initials with a swirl design at the edges. I feel like the pelvis one is little heaver as it is black and thicker that the other and i want something else on my left side to balance it out. Open Question: I have a girlfriend she put a fake tattoo on my back and my wife found it?

I have a girlfriend I met at a convention in and a wife here. I came back home the other night, not knowing my girlfriend from out of town had managed to stick a fake tattoo onto my back at the end of a shower we took together. My wife found it and went ballistic. I didn't even know it was there until I backed myself up to a mirror and there it was a girly heart with an arrow on my back. I ran out of the house jumped in my car, phoned my girlfriend and said, "What in the hell did you mark me for? here's what is going on I have been friends with a girl i know since we were little kids Well last year she moved back to my home town were her dad passed away she never called me to say she was back and one day she calls and says were back this is when my dads Funeral is and I would like your support if you could be there for me so i went and I was really supportive and that and then things got worse from there so i wrote her a letter saying why I could no longer be friends with her and one of the reason was because she is too bossy so two days later after she received my letter she came by and talked to me she said and this bit about me being a bossy bitch is not true i only wrote that she was way to bossy I know what exactly the letter said cause i saved a copy of it on my computer and with her stopping by which i thought was nice cause I got to hear her side of the story so we stayed friends well when i was on the phone with her the other day she said that she was never going to the bar were my cousin and his wife go because of things they did to her while she was there. so I called her and we arranged to go out and play pool then she calls me today the day we are to go play and says we need to do it earlier as she claimed she had to work earlier which is a lie she don't have to be there til 6:30 pm tonight then mentioned that My cousin and his wife are celebrating there birthdays together as their birthdays are a week apart and that they were going to stop by the bar were my cousin and his wife will be. she also said that she would need to drop me and her faience of were we were to play pool because she has to go to work. My faience and i were talking this morning Because I thought he should know what was going on and we both found it inappropriate for her to leave her fiance and i there alone at the bar that has pool tables while she works so i told her that i could not go as I have a spare bedroom to clean which is true i am going to work on it in about a half hour. Then she proceeded to tell me she was not going to be around my cousin and his wife and then all of a sudden my so called friend let her Fiance invite them to their wedding they have only known them since last summer. I am very heart broken that her and her Fiance are choosing people they hardly know over a good, truthful,honest caring Friend,me.And also they always exclude my fiance from invites to pool and to hang out and have coffee and talk which I fill they makes them not a friend at all. I have the best boyfriend ever. We've been together about 2 months. He's 19 and I'm 16. I know the age difference is pretty big, but my family is okay with him and I'm completely in love with him. I'm writing a book that isn't this one because i don't feel confortible puting it on the enternet where people can still it but i was wondering if i was a good writer by heart... or if i should work on it till i was able to actually write where i wasn't the only one that liked it. so to help me tell me your opinion and if you don't want to read all of it cause you got bord just tell me so that i could figure whats so boring about it.... here we go: Ashley was awaken early, way earlier than usual. She sat up and rubbed her eyes trying to scratch the tired out. She looked across the room, at the mirror that sat up against the wall. It was big will a gold framing; her father had sent it to her a year before. It made her happy to think that he thought of her when he was out shopping, even if they weren’t in the same country. She went and stretched her arms out when she saw something move from the corner of her eye. “Hello, Ashley.” It was her brother, he just sat there smiling in the corner of her room like he was supposed to sit there all the time, and he wasn’t even supposed to be in her room. Of course he had no shirt on, even if was the middle of summer. She looked at his neck seeing his tattoo that had been there since his very own change. They looked like roots of a plant climbing up trying to get the sun directly. He had changed his hair color from the green that was when he was in a place he wasn’t afraid of to his auburn that made women faint. I looked at his strong arms that had the tattoo running down them. His skin was pale from no sun, and lack of food. I looked him in the face and glared at his bright green eyes. They were so bright in the morning rays. The light darkend those eyes and made them come out more and made his squared jaw and his pointed nose sink to the back ground. I took a deep breath before saying, “It’s Winter,” he nodded slightly confused. “you could act like a human,” he rolled his eyes at me, “people in England have been caring the plague and here we are unafraid without it, not only that but when you don’t wear a shirt, in winter, they kinda feel that without one when it snows will make you and everyone else they think are humans sick, and die. You don’t look like your dieing so how about you put a shirt on or start acting like your dieing.” He knew how I felt by this but he didn’t care he thought the 300 year old logic was stupid. “But if you are not smart they will hunt you,” mother always told him this and he always rolled his eyes. He was a hot head and thought that he was unbreakable and said that he wouldn’t hide from them. He is the true idiot if you ask me. “You know what mother always says.” “So…” he just let the sentence run away from his lips without the sound. “Nathan!” he stood and threw a heap of clothes at me, it was a bright orange, like wearing something that said “here I am” wasn’t a bad thing to those that lived in boring, you have to act like everyone else, London. He went to leave me but stopped, “We leave for Ireland tonight, gets what you need. You can break your fast when you’re done getting ready.” And just like that he was gone, like a wind. Here one second and gone in a rush the next. Ashley slowly came to stand stretching, she went to the water bowl and splashed fresh water on her face and looked up at the mirror, her skin was a bright purple, and a violet red, eyes a glowing blue. She picked at her hair, trying to make it anything other than flat and ugly. Unsuccessful she blinked her eyes and when she opened them she had tan skin, her hair was still violet. Although that was the rule that something had to stay the same, right? Even though now her hair was wavy. Her eyes were a misty green, like her brother. “Pixie be, pixie gone.” She said into the mirror before she walked away, she had turned 16 in a way if she was a human, but she was over 300 years old. She had been so excited for her birthday, till the day have come and gone and she found herself, not a Asrai or anything else that would have made her happy, but a horrible, no good, low class, PIXIE! Why? How? Where the questions she had asked her brother, of course he had become a Gwrageddannwn which is a faerie that had humans wanting them more than they should, and end up dieing, sad, but way better than a pixie. Father would be so disappointed. Well, thats all that i'm giving away, please leave something if you read this, i could use some pointers. more

Sorry I did post this a few days ago but lost my user id and password so re-signed up and posted again with an update at the bottom. Big thank you to all that replied on Sunday Here it is : Okay will try and keep this as short as possible was with my gorlfiriend for 2 and half years, she is my friend,lover and my soulmate, she is the one I want to settle down with, have kids with and grow old and grey with.....BUT..I'm an idiot!!!! started about a year into my relationship with her, she found some old pictures of an ex girlfriend on my laptop (nothing seedy just general ones) I honestly didn't know they were there, this as you can imagine started a lot of arguments (why is she on there if she is your ex etc) a few months later my girlfriend found out that I was stuck in a mortgage with another ex girlfriend and I didnt tell her (how could I?? I was scared she'd run a mile if she found out so I tried to deal with it myself) yeah I know what an idiot I am!!! should have told her but I got scared... So the arguments kept going on and on,and I tried every way I could to get the ex off the mortgage but the lender would not have any of it. It got to back end of last year, I made a promise that I would sort the mortage out once and for all as my wages finally went up and I wanted us to move on with our lives, get this off our back and finally be happy with each other... so i tried again and again, by christmas time the pressure on me was beginning to show, and I started drinking more and more as a release, we had a big bust up at christmas and since then she has been distant from me, I got worse with drinking, became paranoid that she was cheating, all I wanted was for her to say that things would be okay but she had built up her defences by then and I was slowly hitting rock bottom...anyway she called a month ago to say she needed a break from us as her head needed a re-boot, I understand why, but I was so gutted, it's the hardest thing I've ever done letting her go, but I know she needs to get back to being her again and I'm glad of the break too, I've stopped drinking completly,and feel more alive than I've ever done?? and as I cant get the ex off the mortgage I've put the house up for sale, hopefully wont be long before it's sold. Resolved Question: Still trying to decide on a tattoo for my sister, have an idea?

I'm thinking about getting a thick outline of a heart over where my heart is about two inches in diameter with a small four leaf clover in the left corner (her birthday is St. Patricks day and she loves four leaf clovers). I'm wondering what colors I should get them in though. I was thinking either pink or gold for the outline of the heart and silver or green for the clover. My dad passed away when I was 11 (I'm fourteen now). Me and him were really close. He suffered from MS and was in a wheelchair for as long as i can remember. Last week my friend got a tattoo on his chest of the johnny walker guy. That inspired me to get one too and I reluctantly agreed. We have decided to go next week to get me a tattoo.
